We did not know Lt. Col. Juanita Warman but were terribly saddened by her senseless murder. May her loved ones find the strength to get beyond the horrible pain they are feeling today and find solace in their wonderful memories of her.

We, Americans, are so proud of our Men and Women in uniform and the civilians who work beside them. While the loved ones of those who were murdered (as well as those injured and their families) have a very difficult road ahead of them, we hope they can find some comfort in knowing that the citizens of the United States of America mourns with them and will keep them all in our thoughts and/or prayers.

I was born in Havre de Grace and even after all these years, it still feels like home. Since we shared this beautiful little town, I feel a special kinship with Lt. Col. Warman and... a special loss.

My heart goes out to her family and friends. .. her beloved grandchildren. I pray that some element of good can eventually come from this but itis so difficult to imagine what that good could possibly be.

Rest in peace, Lt.Col.Warman...

Please make sure your facts are straight. Lt. Col. Warman is survived by a husband, two daughters, three step-sons, and eight grandchildren.

Lacking fact-verification seems highly insensitive and extremely disrespectful in this matter, particularly from such a well-established news organization.

Lt. Col. Warman's memory and her surviving family members deserve better, msnbc.
