Traffic in the big cities will only increase so inspections have to be stepped up. Separate routes for truck needs to be implemented.

Can't we invest in ourselves? Is this not equal to letting one's house fall apart? How will our grand children travel?

With the facts: A H Bush wasted all the tax revenue on illegal wars of choice; no money was used on infrastructure for 8 years. Very unsafe

The fact that they are using materials from CHINA to fix the Bay Bridge is appauling. They do not have the safety standards we have!

I have the same fear of bridges now that I do of pilots playing on their laptops while flying.

We don't spend enough, and what little we do spend goes to the lowest bidder, who uses the cheapest materials and labor.

Americas roads and bridges are now run by China and they are letting them rot so that they can sweep in and take over America. So there!!!

It seems to be getting worse each year, it's a problem that has been ignored so long it's hard to asses how bad it is right now!

Infrastructure money comes from fuel taxes, and roadways and bridges have been losing their share to government hyped mass transit systems

As an Engineer I can tell you that the first sign of a nation in decline is when it neglects its infrastructure. This nation is in decline.
