God bless the Airmen who lost their lives in what is usually a very safe place. I have been right where they were gunned down and I was later shocked when this happened. I'm sorry if this guy really was ruined by propaganda, but I have to say that I've never felt the urge to go shoot a bunch of his type after seeing videos of them stone, lash, decapitate, and slaughter people. I'm not going to stoop to their barbaric level.

A murderous fool with a gun, armed also with ignorance and religious fervor, ambushes and kills two people and tries to kill three more; self-righteous and stupid, what possibly could he do in a lifetime of effort to redeem himself? Apologize, because was misled? Science has even discovered a cure for virginity, but there is still none for stupidity. People die all the time for innocent reasons, why cannot this man forfeit his life for five serious reasons? Why should he be given a cared-for life, fed and dressed and kept warm in winter, entertained and washed and then released back into society, as stupid as ever, prepared to be mislied again by "lies and popaganda" as he says? Why, I ask. Has he not shown himself for what he is?

Should he be given further chances to show us more? I say that five victims are enough to define his wasted life. Thirteen steps to the gallows, an easy climb; there he can feel the cold comfort of a rope tightened around his neck before a falling trap door relieves society of his menace. This is a worthwhile and definite response to what he has done. Dropping out of society will only take him five seconds; then he will be released from his doubtful claim of repentance.

By this story and the ensuing comments...it saddens me to see that HATE is an international problem.

Easier to hate I guess than it is to love and forgive. My prayers go out to all affected by this tragedy and to those who would pass judgement.

Why put religious extremists in jail? These people believe they are serving their god and so are convinced what they did is right. They only express "remorse" if it will help reduce a prison sentence.

He should be happy where he is going. Since women are off limits to men in Muslim and Hindu society men often will become "friends with benefits". However they somehow don't view it as acts of homosexuality and will also take a wife. This makes it socially accepted and extremely common although not often discussed.

I guess it makes sense considering they usually look like real tan anorexic woman with beards that take 30 years to grow because of extreme lack of testosterone.

Let us hope that he serves enough time to regret his decision.

As said above. We wouldn't be upset if a Rabid dog war was killed, so why shouldn't we kill a Rabid Human. This man can spend 50 or 60 years in jail and the first thing he'll do when he gets out is kill more people for his religion. Islam is a sick religion filled with hate and viel for all that do not believe exactly as they do. They even kill each other simply because they understand the Koran slightly different. They are stuck in the mold that we were in the middle ages and are happy to stay that way. We had out 100years war then and they are having theirs now. We continue to say that we aren't in a Religious War with them. Well, Sorry folks, they are in one with us! You must remember that it doesn't take all of them to hate us. If only 05% wants to kill then we only have 25,000,000 of them to fight. it's time to start taking this seriously. We have been playing at this for too long! It's time to teach our people the truth and understand that we must continue to take this fight to them.
