It's a sad state of affairs if, since Russia and China vetoed it, the EU, US, Canada, and Japan cannot put enough economic and diplomatic pressure on Assad to stop killing his people. Do we need a secondary league of nations backed up by the threat of the stick of NATO to end the killing? Being a regional force, can Turkey not use it's influence to stop the killing? They are still a member of NATO.
