Regardlesss of true wind speed and all that crap, when I read 15 people injured and 60+ buildings damaged then the word "possible" is eliminated.
I am glad no one has died so far. Mother Nature sure can be a B@#$%.

Why don't you look-up other types of wind storms, and come out of your small world. Ever for instance heard of a microburst? it can flatten a city block, or shove an airplane into the ground, as one did in Dallas in 85, killing 137 people.
They are waiting for the insurance companies to say it was just wind so they can deny claims,, The not so "Family Valued" part of "Free Market Capitalism"
I don't believe the insurance company can deny covering the damages unless it is classified as a hurricane and you don't have coverage for a hurricane. Of course I'm not familiar with the insurance in NC but where I'm from we are covered for damages caused by anything but a flood.

It's all that hot air generated by the presidential debates that is causing this. The tornado season has already ended for the year!
Does seem unusual doesn't it? I've recently moved back to the South. I don't remember tornadoes and hail in winter when I lived here before. Sleet maybe, but not large hailstones. These are more like summertime convective storms.
My heart goes out to all who were harmed, but you're spot on about the hot air!
We used to get these storms in the late or early spring. (Feb., March, and April) Now they are hitting from the Midwest to the Southeast much earlier than the norm. They just a bunch of tornadoes just last month in Georgia. I don't recall that ever happening before in December.

No, shifting weather patterns. Last year record snowfall here and a bit low in Alaska. This year, record snow in Alaska, verly little snow here.
"A possible cold front" and "possible tornado." The news people cannot event express the facts very well. I will provide some basis for you to do some actual reporting. Research GeoEngineering/weather modification/HAARP and you will find what actually causes a "possible tornado."
Unitill some trained people look at the damage it is only a "possible tornado." After they look at damage paterns they will determine if infact it was.

The weather certainly is being strange all over. I'm up here in North Dakota and until yesterday was running around in t-shirt and jeans. Temps were setting record highs almost every day. 24 hours later its -5 with a wind chill of -20 and snow. By saturday its supposed to be back to record setting highs.

Obama won NC with only 0.3%. I was hoping my vote will make a difference in 2012 since I have not voted Republican in twenty years. Unfortunately, my job just moved me to Tennessee and I will have to vote in that state. NC, I am counting on you to go red without me.

I heard a very loud thunder storm last night and thought it was strange for January. Today, news said Tornado. Wow. That is weird. But knowing how unusal weather gets reported, I wasnt surprised to see the aritcle above say, this Tornado is really not all that unusal....since temps have been about 10 degrees above normal for the last 2 months.....OK, so that means we should just forget about it. It's nothing. By the way, we are wearing short sleeves and shorts in dec and jan so Its all good. We are frogs in the saucepan.
Yeah, we had thunderstorms here, too, in the northeast part of Tennessee. Tonight it's snowing. YAY!

this is not a tornado area. At least it hasnt been before. Looks like it is now. Last spring we had a real rash of deadly and devastating tornados throughout the area and state. But that was really a big deal for us. we are not used to experiencing this kind of weather.

Exactly God doesn't choose who gets these disasters. As a matter, of fact He has nothing to do with man made or natural disasters. You see people here post that idea. How do they know? Maybe you should read the Bible and actually study it. You'll find out who is responsible for the world's woes and why. You'll find out all the answers to the questions and statements that people post here regarding God and Jesus. Or maybe you just chose to blame God or Jesus. Even, the demons believe in God.
