Yes, Ryan you have a point and I have said that too BUT we live in the age we live in. The media is NOT going away. People who even APPEAR to be inappropriate must know if someone finds out OR if someone accuses and there is credible evidence then the media WILL be involved ESPECIALLY if it is a high profile person or entity like Sandusky, Paterno for having not demanded investigation OR an institution like the Catholic church. Without the media people who are doing these kinds of things would get away with it. That is how it USED to be. Is that what people want?
The media IS a fact of life. LIVE with it and do not do a THING which will cause suspicion. It was not one boy here it was EIGHT and god knows how many more would not come forward to have their lives upended. TRAGIC situation for the TRAGIC times in which we live!
The media reports what's there. In this case, what's there is a Grand Jury indictment. Sandusky has not yet been tried to establish guilt or innocence, but the testimony to the Grand Jury is certainly compelling.
This guy reminds me of a Macho Michael Jackson, Oh we just play around on the bed we don't really do nothing,I love little boys...Why are we wasting money on this douche.
RYAN: I agree with innocence until proven guilty but these allegations and his behavior in this case is sickening. He had little boys sleep over his house, he admitted took showers with them and he was caught in the shower sexually abusing a child. This is not his word against the child, a third party saw what was going on. Give him his day in court, but in the meantime the media has every right to expose this sick manipulating, piece of crap.
I wish the reporter had asked Sandusky..."Well, if nothing happened, What exactly did Mike McQueary see when you were naked in the shower with that boy?"
IF Sandusky is found guilty by a jury then I agree he should be locked up for life. However, I do not trust the media as most media outlets report with bias. This guy has been convicted without a trial. I do not believe the media should be allowed to report on a case unless that person has been tried and convicted. We are all guilty until proven innocent when the media gets a hold of a story. Hopefully no one ever accuses any of you of a horiffic crime when you are truly innocent. Your face being plastered all over the media and always stigmatized as being part of the scum of society would be very damaging to you and your family.
I read the Grand Jury report and it is pretty graphic as to what state of arousal Jerry was in while he was taking showers with some of the boys. I've not showered with "they guys" like a football player would, so I don't know how many men have erections in a group shower. Is it common?
Susan, the only place a person is "innocent until proven guilty" is in a court of law. That standard does not apply to the media or to citizens. We can speculate all we want. Barring the media from reporting on this or any other case goes against the First Amendment and could put citizens in danger. If the media weren't covering this, nobody knew, and Sandusky was out on bail...how many boys would still be in danger?
United...Yes, the stimulation and warm water often will create an erection in men while showering. One reason you don't shower with 10 year old boys to begin with. However, the fact that a man is with a child, will often prevent an erection from occurring because they are self-conscience. The shower didn't create the erection in this case--the mental images that were going through his mind and the child's presence created the erection.
I will have to disagree with you. I played sports all thru grade school, high school, & college and I have never seen an erection in the shower...Just sayin...
Hey there, @colorblind, you must have been in a real protected world. The world I grew up in was full of pranks, hazing and all kinds of mischief. The main difference was that the adults were very careful of what they let themselves be aware of and they definitely did not participate in any of it. Many of the things that happened to us and because of us would not be tolerated in today's society (and justifiably so), but hey, I used to stand up in the seat in a moving vehicle. All we can do is make tomorrow's world better than yesterday's. Some folks need to be removed from society to make tomorrow's world better and I believe this fellow is one of them.
I sure hope y'all don't start criminalizing erections, heck I wake up with one occasionally before I've even had the chance to have a conscious thought. Yes, one can cause arousal by stimulation, but it is possible to just have one without reason.
I got one during a prostate exam once and I sure as hell wasn't excited at that moment!
all you emeffers out there who are soooooo concerned about precious children...look at some of the news about "co-lateral" damage from our heroic bombing of iraq, afghanistan, libya, etc. i'd suggest the video of the 4 year old libyan boy who's lower jaw was blown off by one of our smart bombs...the flailing tongue and the unstoppable howling will put your foolish priorities in order if you can eat or sleep again...and this is happening NOW not twenty years ago.
The interviewer should not have given this Pedophile 4 hrs!
In cases of Pedophilia, it's always about the perpetrator, not the victims. They seem to be the "Heroes". Twisted minds from others who pursue these jerks.
What about the victims?
Sandusky has had way too much attention---Nothing can bring these young boys their childhood back of one that did not scar their Psyche, and normal living for life.
So Sandusky should get Life in Prison--and no more interviews. What a creep. Put a tattooed "Scarlet" (L) letter on his forehead--for loser.
anyone who wants to yell at any of us about innocent until proven guilty should be asked 1 question. Would you let Jerry Sandusky be alone with your child? The answer to that questions will tell whether or not you truly believe in innocent until proven guilty. It will also speak volumes about how good of a parent you are.
all you emeffers out there who are soooooo concerned about precious children...look at some of the news about "co-lateral" damage from our heroic bombing of iraq, afghanistan, libya, etc. i'd suggest the video of the 4 year old libyan boy who's lower jaw was blown off by one of our smart bombs...the flailing tongue and the unstoppable howling will put your foolish priorities in order if you can eat or sleep again...and this is happening NOW not twenty years ago.
Bob, you're right to feel the way you do about kids who have been injured by U.S. military operations, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the victims of child sexual abuse. Psychological pain can be harder to heal than physical injury. All kids, everywhere, deserve to be nurtured and protected. But this is the world we live in. Better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
I will concede to the men on this issue. I was just trying to answer the woman's question from a nurse's point of view. I have seen men going under anesthesia develop an erection by my prep. However, I have never showered with men and I have to agree that I may be wrong on this issue. Some are more easily stimulated than others and it usually creates great embarrassment if it happens around other people. Not, in any way, shape, or form condoning this twisted jerk showering with boys. It is inappropriate at best. Sorry, fellas. I guess I got it wrong.
My intentions were to merely point out that simply getting an erection is not incriminating evidence.
I have no intentions of using that tidbit of information to justify a man taking showers with little boys and doing some of the other things this man admitted to in the interviews. There is no justification for that behavior!
I certainly see the point/s you're making and got a great chuckle to start the day out with.......thanks.
I too get erections for the hell of it, and at my age that's pretty cool, but unless I'm having sex with a consenting adult of the opposite sex, it's in my pants; although it has sprung to life and caused a few embarrassing situations.......
Please don't outlaw erections! A new bumper sticker........
Several years ago, I read about one state who was looking at the death penalty for repeated sex offenders, I'm sure it never happened or I would have heard about it. I had an uncle in the family, who to be a repeated pediphle. My sister and my daughter was raped by this uncle. One day my sister started whaling and shaking. I beg her to please tell me what was going on. Finally, after promising I wouldn't tell mom and dad, (she thought they would spank her) she told me that this uncle had been raping her for 3 months, every night,, while she vacationed with him and my aunt. I told her I had to break the promise, and told my father and mother. The problem was we had just been transferred to Germany, and there wasn't any thing we could do, other than "out him" to the rest of the family Years, later, I found out my 6 year old daughter had been molested by another pedophile, in the familyl In fact, it turned out to be the son of the family member, who had raped my sisterl I immediately, made an appointment with a therapist. This was his exact quote, "if she isn't making a big deal about it, then don't you." In ignorance, I did what he said to do. My daughter "appeared" to be ok, so I thought we had closure (if there really is such a word when it comes to trauma.) When she was 14 years old she started behaving differently and was having nightmares. Finally, she came to me and asked if she had been molested. I was shocked, because; I thought she was too young to remember, but she wasn't. Bottom line, she tried to commit suicide. She was admitted to a psych hospital for treatment. My sister chose not to confront the uncle and not to get help for what happened to her. In the end, my sister and daughter, still have conflicts over this. Shame and burden has hampered their lives. These pedophiles, do deserve to be put to death, because in most cases they kill the peoples souls due to the brutally of the rape. To have a daughter and sister raped by a person (he eventually got caught and he died shortly thereafter) they trusted, then to find out they were out to harm them all along. is devesating . From what I hear, they isolate these animals, from the general population while in prison. I think, these evil people should join the general population and let "whatever happens, happened. My heart goes out to the boys who were raped by this evil man. I may be biased but Sandusky deserves to go straight to hell.
'I had kid after kid after kid who might say I was a father figure,'
This reminded me of George Michael's Father Figure song from the 80's.
Part of opening verse...
That's all I wanted, something special, Something sacred in your eyes, For just one moment, to be bold and naked At your side
Chorus
I will be your father figure (Oh baby) Put your tiny hand in mine (I'd love to) I will be your preacher teacher (Be your daddy) Anything you have in mind (It would make me) I will be your father figure (Very happy) I have had enough of crime (Please let me) I will be the one who loves you till the end of time
That's all I wanted But sometimes love can be mistaken for a crime...
Hey Sandusky you weren't supposed to take the song literally!
Am I the only one who feels sorry for this guy? I mean, could it be anymore obvious that he has rationalized all this until he is truly not aware of his monstrous behavior? He was rationalizing it while he was doing it and clearly doesn't 'get it'.
I don't for a minute excuse his behavior, nor do I think he should get anything but the maximum penalties, once convicted. There was a time in all this (maybe 1998) where he might have benefited by intensive therapy. That time is long passed.
In so far as the innoscent until proven guilty... If multiple accusers and multiple witnesses don't convince you, what about his total lack of denial of the incidents? He has never said that any of it didn't happen, but rather his sharing a bed and showering with young boys was misinterpreted. Right!
But while seeing this man for the monster he is, accountable for his actions, I also see him as a victim. How long would Mr. Sandusky's behavior and the behavior of coaches and student athletes who have been sexually inappropriate with coeds be tolerated and covered up if their sports programs weren't making millions for the universities?
As many articles since this story broke have pointed out, this kind of coverup is the norm. What if he had been held to task in 1998? What if he had been given a carrot and stick and told that he was being closely watched and needed counseling? But too many people were making too much money for this to happen.
There is a culture of silence with a wake of molested kids and raped and murdered coeds in its wake. The biggest crime here is that after the torch carrying mob gets Mr. Sandusky's blood, it will go back to 'business as usual'.
After all, what's a molested kid or a dead coed compared with the millions the sports programs bring in. This didn't have to happen. Mr Sandusky could have been helped and continued his wonderful charity, knowing he was under the microscope. Instead, no one involved was going to jeopardize the status quo and made that clear through their inaction. What's a kid or two matter when there's money to be made?
Good one, Judas! Basically, he's saying that those boys just made up those 40 occurrences? For a grown man to shower with a bunch of 10-year olds is not normal. My mother never showered with me, nor did I with my daughters once they were old enough to shower by themselves. Not because we are prudes, but it's simply a matter of privacy. If showering with a bunch of 10-year olds and "horsing around in the shower" is this man's idea of fatherhood or playing the role model, he has a stitch loose.
Hey Bay Area David, maybe someone DID try to intervene and put an end to it - and perhaps that person was threatened and later murdered for their involvement. After all, it's been said that District Attorney Ray Gricar, "declined to prosecute Sandusky for charges in 1998". Ray Gricar "disappeared" shortly thereafter, and his work issued laptop was later found destroyed in a river. Gricar's body has never been found and there's no proof he's alive anywhere. How convienent! The media has failed to link his disappearance to this sex abuse case, but in a case where careers are ending, reputations are being forever destroyed and criminal charges are being filed, it's my belief that Gricar was being threatened to let this case go. Perhaps rather than trust in him to do so, someone needed to ensure his silence. This isn't conspiracy, this could very well be reality!
I LOVE how the article starts with the author stating Sandusky saying Joe never spoke to him about the "incidents " in 2002. What in the Wide Wide World of Sports does that have anything to do with the bottom line except to grab the reader and reeeeeeel him in. Joe has already suffered the wrath of the media and the world, and the program and players today are taking heat 9 years later!! Why the HELL should Joe have said something to him? Sandusky was 4 years removed from the program, McCreary isn't clear exactly what he told Joe( and in deep hiding) , and Joe followed university policy and is NOT under any indictment . And folks.......until the trial and the truth comes out, character assasination of one of the greatest sports legends of all time is pathetic, weak spined, and simply put an indication of your own lack of character and hateful attitudes. Wait until the trial(s) are over then HAVE AT IT! And if this plays out like I predict it will.....I hope Joe sues the university, the Trustees and anyone else he can for unlawful termination, libel and even slander.
Folks, I have a feeling that he will get off because I truly believe that there is not enough evidence, it is going to be more of a he said he said case, the prosecution is going to screw up as other high profile cases by showing up on tv way too much and that is why he is going to get out of it. I am not saying he is innocent, I am saying that anytime there is a high profile case when the media is all over it like they are and the prosecution is all over tv declaring someone guilty, it will be more talk and no action. The only high profile case to date that was not screwed up was Warren Jeffs, which I knew was going on, but there were no live interviews, etc until after the case.
Males can get erections from fear too. Some molested kids get erections from fear and are then shamed by it. Don't confuse them and give them the impression an erection only results from arousal. The molestation is not their fault if they end up getting an erection out of fear.
I agree with valhallaarwen. Sandusky may well get acquitted for lack of evidence.
@ Lusitania, remember that Michael Jackson was acquitted both times he was tried for molesting a boy. In the second trial, the jury was interviewed and said they believed he did molest boys, just not THAT one.
I do not know how the trial will be structured, but if it is tried one by one (which the Defense would want to see), it is only a "he said, he said" with the exception of the one case where McQueary witnessed the 2002 "incident". Since no one identified the boy, Sandusky has simply contacted ANOTHER boy he showered with, who said nothing happened, as he just turned on all the showers and was sliding across the floor. (BTW - I am hard pressed to believe this was the same child. This "new" boy says he did not see McQueary, and McQueary described a VERY different scenario, said both the boy and Sandusky saw him, and he "put a stop to it" before leaving the gym, so there is no way the 2002 victim could not have seen him.) But, without the actual 2002 victim coming forward, who is to say Sandusky's "witness" is NOT that boy?? It creates "reasonable doubt," particularly when McQueary, Paterno, Curley, and Second Mile would all testify to different things that were reported or were reported to them. Sandusky's account is consistent with his "witness" and their account is not consistent at all.
The Grand Jury presentment is compelling, as the witnesses are testifying under oath, and there is a STIFF penalty for lying under oath to a Grand Jury. So, we assume these (now) young men are all telling the truth, particularly when their testimony is consistent in that details of Sandusky's behavior with each shows a similar pattern. However, as the Casey Anthony debacle showed us, time DOES matter - Even a few months can make a difference if crucial evidence or witnesses (eg, Gricar and the janitor who witnessed the 2000 "incident") are not available to testify. McQueary made a HUGE mistake in not calling the police or Child Protection Services and having the 2002 victim identified right away.
With that said, the OJ Simpson debacle also shows us that criminal trials and civil trials are VERY different creatures, and where a defendant may not spend a day in prison for their actions, they could get successfully sued in a civil court.
As Yogi Berra once said, "It ain't over 'til it's over - and even then it ain't over."
Never met the guy. Don't want to imply we're friends by calling him "Jerry". Sorry, I'm one of those dinosaurs who is old enough to remember when everyone said "mister" and "miss"
So I guess that's really, Mr. Sherpa.
PS I would think you would understand all this. Anyone old enough to use that old, tired 'liberal media', should understand.
Diane, thank you. I for one am about to tune out from the news thanks to folks screaming (yes it has gotten that way) everytime someone talks about it. Why not talk calmly about the case. This is way to reactionary after the fact stuff which is driving me up the wall, analyzing every movement, word etc. of the accused. Why not let a court sort it out. When the Casey Anthony case was going on and it was revealed that there was no direct evidence, DNA, finger prints, and that the prosecution presented Casey as a loving mother, I knew the case would be over and she would not be charged with murder.
I have read accounts of where a wrestling coach saw Sandusky on a mat with a boy at the school (junior high I believe) and startled them but did nothing but forbid him not to come back to the campus. Why didn't he call the cops? I am upset with the folks who witnessed things and didn't call the cops. I would like to know why.
I also feel that the DA should get an attorney who is not affliated with the enemy school of Penn State because if I am correct the current da is a graduate of the enemy school and I can see some folks saying that she hates Penn State and do everything to make them lose this case. Trust me, I am kidding.
I don't think he will get off. People are FINALLY sick and tired of men AND women who use their influence over children to get their rocks off.
FINALLY we are starting to realize the psychological damage of this sad behavior.
What kind of human being do you think you are putting out into the world when, from very early on, they have been used for the pleasure of an adult lie they are some piece of trash?
I'll tell you what--it's a broken one. Every single person that I have known who was molested had psychological problems and they also had a really messed up view of the world. That does not bode well for society, for us as a group, for the world.
This INhumane behavior must stop. When a person is found to be a repeat offender he/she should be put away forever. I'm sorry but that's the way it should be. Repeat murders, repeat molesters should not live among us.
Now if you know you are a pedophile but you are in control of yourself and you have insight into the damage, which is why you don't act out your thoughts, then this does not include you. If you have thoughts (any human) that are contrary to being a loving, empathetic person there is help for you at a therapist office, or some other community support person. Stop messing with your future-children need to be protected and guided and SEX has NOTHING to do with it.
so very true. however, the light of truth is emerging from the terrible darkness for all of these boys who have lived in a nightmare world for these awful years. to all those men who knew, and believed these boys would "get-over it", "it's no big deal", "these things happen", i do hope this monster of a person never creeps into the life of your loved one, your sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters because how could you possibly keep that attitude, and inform your family child: "its no big deal, jerry really is a nice guy, get over it."
twitch, no offense, but why would he say he did something on live tv. Are you really that stupid? Do you honestly believe if he did it he would say he did it? If you were accused of something that you did would you admit it on live tv? Wow. I am not a Sandusky didn't do it fan, I am a person who believes in the law.
Liars Dems, what about all the folks who went to jail for crimes they didn't do only to get out by DNA evidence that proved their innocence?
My thoughts exactly. Both seem a bit delusional. I'm sure they do "love" those boys and maybe they do feel like they are not doing anything wrong. Let's say that's all true - that some pedophiles live in this delusional bubble and really believe that the kind of "love" they are showing these kids is beautiful and appropriate. Well, that means that the people who are NOT delusional around them need to put a stop to it! His wife, for one. The officials at Penn State. Anyone at Second Mile who suspected that maybe more was going on that meets the eye.
This is a little like an alcoholic or drug addict in the early stages. The addict doesn't realize it's a problem. Everyone close to them recognizes it. Yet, the thinking is to let the addict wait until he wants help, because that's the only way he's going to accept it. I think that's wrong-headed. But it's even worse when you let a pedophile keep hanging around children. There are obvious signs - to those who are close to the pervert. Normal adults don't sleep in the same bed in hotel rooms with other people's kids. Normal adults may take group showers in a sports setting with kids, but would never do that alone with one kid, and certainly would never touch the kid. Normal adults keep their relationship with kids in the open - they don't seek privacy.
Maybe most normal adults don't recognize when something is off-base with another adult. But after Michael Jackson and Sandusky's very similar stories, everyone should now have their radar up to the signs that another adult has some strangely close relationships with other people's children. Organizations need to set very clear boundaries for the adults in charge of children, so that simply being in a situation where something inappropriate could occur, would be a violation of the rules.
dano...You are right on target. From working with inmates, many pedophiles, I know this is exactly what one would say. "They needed me. They loved me. Look at all of the good I have done for them." He is twisted and should never be allowed around children again. Pedophiles do not rehabilitate--they re-offend. Over and over and over. Good post, dano. Shows a lot of knowledge on your part.
Dano- you bring up a classic characteristic of a common pedophile.
Through marriage, I was distantly related to a family that was completely destroyed by one man who manipulated, intimidated, and raped as many young family members as he could. These included his own children and grandchildren, nieces, and at least one non-related child.
He, like Sandusky, was a powerful person in his sphere. Eventually it became known that several people suspected or even knew but were too intimidated to act.
Decades later his victims have endured everything from the devastating emotional damage, drug and alcohol addiction, broken relationships, and suicide. I have heard one of his victims is in prison for perpetuating this disgusting crime.
Today, this disgusting old man enjoys his comfortable retirement. Even when confronted, he makes absolutely no connection with the legacy he has created.
I agree that both Sandusky and Jackson seemed to have a similar 'love' for children. In what universe is it ever appropriate for a grown man to sleep with and shower with little children who are not his own?
A normal man would never allow himself to be in a situation with children that might even hint at inappropriate behavior. Both Sandusky and Jackson shared an attitude that all the good things they did for kids justified their highly questionable behavior. The rest of us don't see it that way.
I think the kids who have alleged abuse are far more trustworthy than either of those two men. Jackson got away with it...I hope Sandusky doesn't.
Sandusky would get away with it too if he had 25 million to pay off those kids..
Sick POS..One thing about Jackson, he won't be sleeping with young boys anymore....I have heard more than one person say that Dr. Murray should be given an award, not prison time...??
The real horrifying thing is that there are hundreds of Sanduskys out there. They run the gambit from Dads, uncles, neighbors, coaches, scout leaders, clergy and just mentors kids tend to learn from. We need to weed them out, but we can't get to the point where we live in a state of fear and paranoia leading us to just accuse anyone. Our kids need to know to speak up when things aren't right. We've got some serious educating to do.
Because there was so much abuse that happened in the Catholic church, and those that covered it up are coming to the light, as well, a rule has been enforced that there must be two adults (minimum) when taking care of kids. Even if you AREN'T that way, it saves you as the adult from anyone accusing you of doing anything. That can include changing diapers - we call the parents back in to do it.
Yes, both Michael (and his family) and Sandusky were/are delusional. They are not wired right, and I also don't believe that they can ever be trusted - they will reoffend. But, they both knew/know that it wasn't right in society's eyes because they knew enough to try and hide it. Whether they were victims themselves (probably, and I feel for that), we who know better need to intervene and break the cycle. But sometimes the lunatics are controlling the institution...
Let me add, or clarify, even though it saves the innocent adults, it is the kids welfare that is the priority - and I totally agree with that. Kids are ALWAYS innocent.
We all thought Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" was simplistic, but it worked. We need someone to come up with a "Just Tell Someone." or something that simple to get it into our kid's minds that this crap is wrong and don't let it happen a second time, tell on them the first time.
Bob Williams - not only should we teach our kids "just tell someone," we should also teach them that should something like this happen, it's not their fault but that of a very sick person. Kids should be taught that it's NOT OK for an adult to touch them in inappropriate places, regardless of who that adult is: priest, coach, teacher, whoever and regardless of what threats or promises these adults make. I feel very sorry for the victims in this case and hope they all get the help they need. As far as Sandusky is concerned, give him 40 consecutive sentences without possibility of parole.
Let's be careful with the MJ situation. There was never any "hard" evidence that MJ molested anyone, and the authorities tried hard to get it. If not a molester, MJ was naive, immature and irresponsible, but that did not make him a predator.
MJ could have been a molester, but we will never know. The signs were there (never any little girls around, nonexistent relationships with adults unless business-related, lots of "trappings", i.e. playgrounds, candy, trips, regular sleepovers, etc.). From that standpoint, there are lots of similarities.
On the flip, nobody said MJ showered with them, let alone got erections while doing so. There were never any adult eyewitnesses in the MJ cases.
Sandusky is clearly guilty of what he is accused of.
Be careful of what - calling situations what they are?? Jackson didn't admit to showering with kids, but did admit to sharing his bed with young boys who weren't his - and he paid 2 of them for their silence. What innocent man does that???? How do you know he didn't get erections?? Just because there were no witnesses and he wasn't fully prosecuted does not mean he wasn't guilty! If you ask me, they both sound like 2 pervs in a pod.
@Tracey-3041901 Exactly. And one of those kids even described a "notable mark" that was on MJ's ...uh...nether regions that the kid never would have known about unless he was exposed to it.
The only difference between MJ and Sandusky was Millions of dollars.
Heh, funny how in all that 'charitable' time in Sandusky's life none was ever spent on any female troubled kids deemed worthy of free computers, golf clubs and bank accounts. If there's a positive in any of this I'd say that's it.
Just google MJ's accuser recants molestation story. Also inquire about the tragic development between him and his father (dentist)...who master-mined and concocted the entire lie. MJ's lawyers suggested he "make it go away" initially to save MJ's public image. There is no correlation or comparison between an obvious child rapist, and a globally adored one-in-a-million entertainer as MJ still is. Jealousy is a horrible burden for those who are plagued by it, so investigate the truth because at this point your blasphemy is against a deceased person.
Please someone lock him up and throw away the key. This man is very sick and to find out that child advocates felt he was ok to be around children after a mother reported that he showered with her son is extremely alarming.
All I see is many chances and warning signs over the years that could have stopped him and saved a child from this monster. Opening bank accounts, sleeping in the same room, showering with them. Too many people saw the signs and it was just easier to sweep it under the rug for them. Everyone who knew basically said that football was more important than a child's life and innocence.
This was a massive cover up and they all make me sick.
I look at this man and want to vomit. May he end up in prison and find out what rape is like. I am sure they will tell him, he wants it, too. This man had all the signs of pedophile. People did not see because for whatever reason they did not want to see. And because of their cowardice and sick minds, more children were harmed.
Everyone who knew basically said that football was more important than a child's life and innocence
To their minds, it was. That is why our society is so sick. What we value is worthless, what we discard is worth everything.
Yes, if your a 10 yr old boy and they are adults...Grown men with erections in the shower with 10 yr old's?? I think you must know the answer to that..
The most disturbing aspect to me is the fact that he took some of these kids out of school without the parent's knowledge or permission. One of the hallmarks of pedophilic behavior is an ability to rationalize the monstrosities.
May I add that if we didn't exalt football and make demigods of mere coaches, his perversions would have been harder to pull off.
If we didn't exalt ANY adult who 'helps' children, these things would be harder to pull off. You are NOT a saint because you 'work with children'. It is privilege to work with a young life, a life that will grow to adulthood.
I don't have the ultimate solution but this allowing kids to be taken off by adults who are not their parents is reckless at best, in my book.
I don't think coaches, teachers, or any adult who is in a position of authority should be allowed to take a kid anywhere without written permission from a parent and without more adults, preferably volunteer parents, coming along for the ride to assure safety.
Oh, and teachers won't be happy with my comments but I don't think school teachers should be taking pictures, or videos of their students.
I know, it's "innocent" but I think it puts the idea in the head of a child that this is okay and although 95% of teachers would never do anything nefarious with a camera/video camera-for a pedophile, that's just an opportunity waiting to happen; their personal own home videos.
The last part might be far-fetched but I do find it 'un-professional' of teachers to do that. I would never dream of taking pictures of video of my clients and they are adult.
Kids--they are not on earth for us to do what we want with them. THEY ARE OUR FUTURE.
Actually, Chandradust,I agree with you about the picturing taking by teachers or others in positions with children. I never allowed my kids to be photographed. My main reason was that I had heard one of the things pedophiles do is gather information on a child, or children and it can start by seeing photographs of kids at schools. They have the name of the school, location, the picture of the child, and they start building a portfolio on a child. When the timing is right, they kidnap the child.
I've also heard that you should remember what kind of shoes and sox your child wears when you take them to a store (best to leave them at home). When kids are missing from your side, the store's cameras are taking films of all parts of the store. It is easier to spot their shoes on camera than it is to identify the child, sometimes, because they've been covered up somehow, i.e. hats/wigs over their heads, chloroformed and are carried out. Good idea when a child is missing at a store to get to the exit doors ASAP. These people move fast. I've heard it a good idea for kids (or you) to carry whistles; they can be blown in someone's ear - piercingly hurtful - and they attract attention. Go for the eyes, objects stabbed into an eye blinds both eyes because it is very painful to keep the other one open. Go for both. Learn and teach techniques to get away. Teach your children life savings skills. Put them in Martial Arts training. Bite.
Call me crazy but what you are saying makes no sense to me. I am a little league baseball coach, and have been for many years. In the last two years for some reason, some parent complained about pictures being taken of their child, for fear of what a pedophile may do with pictures of fully clothed children on a baseball field.
As a result, I cannot take a picture of my own son up to bat in a game. How does this make sense? How does this make my child safer? The only thing this really accomplishes is to deny my child the right to have memories of his own childhood. When my son asked after a game for his friends to pose with him for a picture, at the end of the season, I had to tell him no, and explain to him that he could not have a picture of his friends, because some people are afraid that if an 8 year old had a picture of his teammates to remember the season and his friends by, that it would cause the pedophiles to magically appear and rape all of the people in the picture.
The only way you could ever remove all danger from a child's life, would be to lock them in a closet until they are adults, but even that will probably not remove ALL danger.
I understand your fear, I have four kids of my own, and I can only imagine what I would do to someone who tried to harm them. But taking away their childhood is not the solution.
The thing that frightens me the most is, almost everyone here has already convicted him. Welcome to communist Russia, or Iran. That is how they do things in those countries, It is NOT how we do things here.
was anyone on this blog present at the time in question? No? Then you have no right or reason to convict him.
I get it, the crimes his is accused of are horrific, but an accusation does not mean he is guilty, no matter how terrible the crime.
If his only crime is taking a shower with a group after sporting events, (and I think that is rather weird, and not something I would do,) then convict him of that crime, but last time I checked, taking a group shower does not constitute rape. If it does, then I am guilty of raping thousands of soldiers during my 8 years in the Army.
When my 12 year old son and I go to the gym to work out, we take a shower afterwards, should we arrest me, and all of the men who happen to be in the shower that day?
We didn't have to be there. We have eyes and ears and can read and hear what he himself tells us.
Do you ever remove children from school without the consent or even knowledge of their parents? Do you as a full grown adult (much less at 50 or 60 yrs old) and not being a wrestling coach wrestle with 10 yr. old boys with no other adults around and "blow on their stomachs"? Do you on occasion sleep in the same bed in a motel with a 13 yr. old boy who's not your own? Do you not have enough money to at least get a room with 2 separate beds in it yet have enough to give to these preteens as cash in hand, even to the point of opening personal private bank accounts for them? Do you often take one of the kids on your sons baseball team alone for a drive in your car and for some reason feel it's best to rest your hand on the child's upper thigh while doing so? Do you ever have to apologize to some other child's mother while admitting it was wrong for showering alone with her preteen son?
I don't think you are crazy just accustomed, like many other people are, to business as usual when it comes to how to deal with the everyday issues concerning children.
Fact is, we as humans, have made a lot of mistakes where children are concerned. Remember when we used to send them to work in sweat shops back in the day? That's just one example of some of stupid things we did and it's not just in the public arena that we have failed them but in our own private personal family and social groups/circles.
Like I mentioned before, we think it's our right to do what we want with kids, the picture issue is just an example of how this is so.
I am not sure about the picture thing when they are playing sports but, not that my example serves for everyone, but I was in basketball as a kid and my parents never took one picture, yet- I still have those memories and no one can take those away.
I think the priority should be to protect kids, and to guide them well--they are our future and humans are living to a longer age as the decades pass by, so we need to make leaders that will be healthy, wise and strong for a long time and if we don't keep watch and consider all the factors, who will?
In all of my dealings with checking kids out of school, I make sure that I am on the list or if I am not, I have the parent call up the school to make sure that I am allowed to pick up the kid and then show my pictured license upon entering the school and sign the child out. I thought everyone had to do that. I know that when I went to school, only approved folks could check the kid out, and I thought all schools did that, so can you explain how someone who is not on the approved list can pick up the kids.
Moondust, no offense, it too confuses me what you wrote. I understand some of it, and I gather you are saying you don't want any pictures taken of your kid, but I take pixs of my nieces and nephews when we are out at the zoo, parade, etc. It is not evil and I send them to their parents or grandparents. Yes, I believe in protecting kids, I keep a sharp eye on them, but I will not make the paranoid. So I wasn't supposed to take a picture with them and the gingerbread man a the parade or a picture of them with one of the dance team members after the parade?
I do think we should protect kids, but I think that sometimes it makes kids way too paranoid if they are overprotected. While we should keep an eye on our kids/friends kids, we should also look out for those parents who do this and worst to their kids, which is happening more and more each day or should I say we are finding out about it more and more due to the media.
I agree with somethings you said, valhallarwen; that we should protect the kids and watch out for the parents who are not doing right by them.
Regarding the picture thing--it's not that it's not okay to take a picture of your own kid, or nieces/nephews but of 'other' kids.
But my main comment (on my first post) was about teachers taking liberties (by taking pictures and video) with children they teach. And I'm not talking about the 'class pictures' that you need parental permission to take.
I understand what you mean about making kids paranoid but we can tell kids in a way that empowers them and doesn't scare them-we just to find out what the best way is.
I think we all need to be aware of just how much kids are affected by molestation-it is psychological damage that goes way into adulthood (I work in the mental health field). Yes, there are other dangers and issues that affect kids but this is something that we can really do something about by just bringing awareness and being smarter about who has access to our kids etc. And, quite frankly, it's been a problem that has been swept under the rug for centuries--it's about time we take off the mask of this disgusting human behavior--it is the only way to, if not stop the cycle at least impact how prevalent it is.
What a sicko. Fact is, Paterno is just as guilty as this POS and deserves to rot in prison for the rest of his life for what he did(child raper?) or didn't do by helping to cover this up. Makes one wonder how many other men from Penn State were involved in this. Were they passing these boys around? Why so protective of each other?
fact is steve, you don't know what you're saying -- look, Paterno had his day with the Grand Jury and nothing came out of it. Get it ? NOTHING !! Not even a perjury charge like the 2 other others in the report.. and don't put any value into him getting fired by the Board of Trustees as a sign of proof -- simply put, that was a poor attempt by the gutless wonders on the Board to get the media circus out of town before Paterno's last home game. And then for you to imply that other men might have been "passing these boys around." Best for you and decent people everywhere to unplug yourself from the internet, and return to your own fantasy world.
I wouldn't go quite so far as to accuse the subordinates and superiors as sharing in the booty (sorry about the choice of words), but the military taught me early in life that if you witness something wrong and do nothing to correct it, you're just as guilty as the one who messed up in the first place. There is such a thing as guilt by association, and that's what I find the faculty and administration guilty of.
I certainly hope you are not a mental health professional because to suggest a clinical diagnosis based on reading an individual's internet posts is highly inappropriate and unethical.
As we live in a society of laws with applied "due process," and where Mr. Sandusky is entitled to that processes, we also have an obligation under that process to protect the children of this land. Mr. Sandusky will have his day in court. If it is true, which it appears in an overwhelming land slide of allegations, that he did in fact commit those hideous crimes, he should be put away for the rest of his life.
Personally, I am of the opinion that he committed the most severe indiscretions possible with innocent young people. I, like many others, do not believe his explanations of the alleged misconducts and misbehavior, no matter the sincerity of his tone. The worst possible outcome for the victims is the life long damage he has done to them. How does any "justice of the land" reconstruct their lives or bring their own innocence back to them? How do they erase this nightmare? Frankly, there is no monetary settlement that will ever right this wrong for the victims. They will live with this demon forever. I hope that Mr. Sandusky, if convicted of these crimes, will be imprisoned for the rest of his life. I am sorry for the victims, for the family of Mr. Sandusky and for all of the people he betrayed in his abuses. My heart goes out to all of them.
I also hope that those complicit in this horrific episode of apparent coverups, no matter their professional/political status, or community reverence, also pay a huge price under the law for their part in letting this tragedy play out and continue under their own failure to act and protect the children. It is simply unforgivable. It is simply sick.
LOL...Yeah if Bubba gets an erection in the shower it may be a little painful for old Jerry....I would assume that a grown man and a 10 yr old boy may not be the same size???
Why does McQueary still have a job? He's turned out to be just as big of a liar as Sandusky. I agree Paterno should have been fired, but it looks like he became the fall guy due to McQueary's repeated lies.
Laker Steve, you seem to be blaming McQueary for telling what he saw and you want him to be punished for not keeping his mouth shut and for not sweeping it under the rug like the rest of the powers that be seem to have done.
Why do you believe that Paterno was made the fall guy and what lies did McQueary tell?
So McQueary stated that he reported what he saw to Paterno and he seem to have a witness to same... when that particular incident happened.
From the sound of things Paterno and the rest of the coaching and uni folks including the police whether campus or not, knew of or were more than likely aware of or may even suspect or was suspicious of , Sandusky's proclivities.... er.. inappropiate/questionable behaviours with children.
There is a thing called willful blindness.... it would seem that you and Paterno and the rest of the university and charity folks seem to be suffering from same...
It would be in Mr Sandusky's best interest to simply shut up..... as what he states now will/can be used against him in court just like the other interview that he did. Why can't he see that more he talks the less sympathetic he looks? Before long folks will be looking at his spouse/ family members and start wondering what she/they knew.....
that's already been addressed by different sources - just google 'mcqueary whistleblower' -- but in reality, he'll never set foot in Beaver Stadium again. Don't worry, the PSU Board would have unceremoniously dumped McQueary just like they did with Paterno except for some lawyer putting the brakes on it.
This whole situation stinks. While I love and agree with the guilt by association comment earlier which identified JoePa as the offender guilty by association; the one thing I cannot and will not ever understand is why a so-called "man" who claims he SAW Sandusky RAPING a child waited until a day later to tell Paterno? Really? McQueary openly admits to seeing, witnessing the abuser in the midst of a pedophiliac act but waited and did not call authorities. Hell, he didn't even tell Sandusky to hit the road! I personally think McQueary should have some major harsh penalties for his "guilt by association" and not bothering to get authorities involved immediately after securing the child's safety. Can you imagine seeing that and not taking urgent action to stop it???!!!
Think about it, McQueary didn't do too bad for himself at PSU, did he? I am certain at the time of the witnessed abuse he was well aware of what could happen or couldn't happen to his career depending on his reaction to the Sandusky accusation. He acted accordingly.
Sundusky, if found guilty should be shot and McQueary should pay restitution for that poor kid. What a freaking coward.
AND....when do we get to hear the side of the victims? I am quite sick of seeing Jerry Sandusky's ugly face plastered everywhere.
AZ33, it is obvious that you think that a mere student has that much power over a or the 'favoured son' and 'heir apparent' and 2nd in command to Pa Joe the Head Coach of the multi million dollars plus football program.
Who do you think would have been believed quicker.... McQueary the student or Sandusky the heir apparent to the powerful head coach?
One could say that you have suggested, intimated, and maybe insinuated that Paterno is more believable and thus Sandusky- his second in command- would then have been more believable than McQueary who was a lowly powerless student at the time of the incident he witnessed.
And even now, after all these years, and even with McQueary no longer being the student, he is still in a subordinate role to Paterno and thus to Sandusky, on the football coaching team/program.
If McQueary had entered the shower and forcibly ended the inappropiate behaviour by Sandusky in the shower, who do you think the powers that be would have believed?
Sandusky could have spun it to say that he was physically attacked in the shower by McQueary etc or even make it look like McQueary was the one who was 'sexually abusing' the child etc..... and who do you think the the powers that be would have believed.... a lowly grad student or the chap with 'inheirent' power?
At that time who do you think the child would have sided with.... McQueary or Sandusky the person he knew personally (in more ways that one it seems) and who he was now dependent on/father figure? My bet is that the minor child at that time, not knowing any better would have sided with Sandusky his alledged abuser.....
These are probably the reasons why McQueary called his dad and discussed the matter with him and per his statement he had accompany him to tell Paterno about what he saw etc.
If there is or was a culture of turning a blind eye to Sandusky's 'activities' by the big wigs.... you know in which there was "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no truths, feel no pain" then it was already ingrained in the program pre- McQueary from the look and sound of things so far.
If Sandusky is the predator he is accused of being then this episode witnessed by McQueary was not a first and may have even gone on for years before and even after the incident in question imo.
So now there are folks like you who on one hand is saying that what alledgedly occurred to the child was wrong, yet on the other hand is also trying to deflect criticism from and trying to make/paint/suggest/intimate that Paterno- the longest serving head coach for the football program even throughout Sandusky's tenure at the university- is supposedly also an unwitting victim of Sandusky and now also of McQueary, thus McQueary should be punished for not doing more to bring attention to what he saw/observed although McQueary indicated that he did.
Now look at what McQueary has brought upon himself by talking.....even now when he is no longer the lowly grad student?
So now you like many others are saying that He - McQueary- must be punished.... but for what?
For testifying about what he saw or for testifying that he also reported what he saw to Paterno et al?
For perhaps therefore shining a light on a 'culture' of willful blindness probably brought on by multi million dollars signs that is inherent in/to these programs and that may be lost if the or these 'inappropiate' behaviour problems were made known?
For showing that even revered folks may also have feet of clay?
For showing parents that they need to be the responsible for and be the role models for their own children?
For making parents feel uncomfortable with their being too willing to abdicate their role of parent or parents to/of their children to or unto others/someone else with power and or wealth?
For making parents/guardians question what an opportunity is really worth and what they and the child/children may be sacrificing to get it?
For their willingness to overlook or turn a blind eye to signs and symptoms of possible issues ..whether it may be from questionable behaviours or improprieties to health issues that may affect their child just for whatever 'opportunity/help' is being offered? Recently a young basketball player dropped dead... or rather another one as there have been others... it was later found he had an enlarged heart....Hmmm How was this not known? Aren't physicals done/required on these children to participate in such sports? Did someone/adult drop the ball, was willfully blind on/about this child's health or medical issues... for profit?
What should McQueary be punished for.... making all of us feel uncomfortable now at issues that we may have turned a blind eye to, overlooked, not question, left unreported, un-investigated etc or have us questioning ourselves at what we would have done if placed in the same situation at work or at home.... would we have been willing to take the risk to testify against folks that have power over our lives and livelihood etc?
What Sandusky is alledged to have done is simply wrong and if convicted of same should have the book thrown at and even dumped upon him, but this does not let anyone off the hook whether they are the powers that be, the mega money people, people who run or on the board of these programs, the universities, the alums to maintenance workers, guards, schools, charities, the police, investigative reporters, churches, church members, pastors, priests, counsellors, doctors, teachers, nurses, spouses, family members, courts, judges, neighbors etc and that includes the parent or parents too imo.
There are a few things about this that makes no sense to me.
One, what exactly do you think paterno did wrong in this? Someone came to him, and said "Hey Joe, I saw this guy raping a kid yesterday, and didn't bother to call 911, didn't bother to say hey get your hands off that kid, Didn't bother to do anything to stop it, i just stood there and watched this kid get raped, then decided I should tell you about it a day later."
If I were Joe, I would have replied "What the F**K is wrong with you, why the hell did you not call 911 IMMEDIATELY??? Are you sick? or wait, are you lying? Your response here is a little fishy, but I am going to notify the proper authorities and let them investigate your odd story."
Which is what Joe Paterno did. He notified the proper authorities, and let them handle the investigation, when the proper authorities said, hey sandusky is clear to work, Joe said OK.
To be quite honest, I don't know that I would have believed McQueary's story either. I mean how in the hell can a human being watch a child get raped, and not pick up the nearest weapon he can find, even if it is just a mop handle, and run into the room screaming and swinging, and beat the living sh!t out of the rapist?
Or at the VERY LEAST how can any half decent Human Being not call the police instantly, after running in and saying, "hey what they hell is going on in here?"
Whether or not Sandusky is guilty, I don't know. What I think, regardless of his guilt or innocence, McQueary is a liar. No way in hell he witnessed a child get raped, went home, slept on it, then decided to tell a coach the next day,.Not the police, not the campus security, not the dean, or the president, but a football coach?
No way in hell. McQueary has an agenda of his own, and it has nothing to do with him witnessing a child being raped.
I know some of you here think that Joe is guilty, or the college was justified in firing him.
Tell me something, if some one at your work accused you of harassment, and the police were called, and the police investigated you, and decided there was not enough evidence to charge you with a crime, should your boss go ahead and fire you, just in case? And if he does NOT fire you, should your boss be held guilty of harassment too, for not firing you after the authorities cleared you?
That simply is NOT how we do things in this country.
I understand that molesting a child is the most horrific crime that can be committed. I understand that any sane adult would want to crucify any one CONVICTED of that crime.
But we simply CANNOT go around destroying peoples lives based on accusations. Convictions, Yes. Accusations, NO!
How many of these accusers were actually molested, and how many think they can jump on the band wagon and make a few million bucks in the lawsuits?
Can we have a damn trial first? that is all I am asking for, lets have INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
And no matter how much some of you don't like it, an accusation alone does NOT prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.
"Tell me something, if some one at your work accused you of harassment, and the police were called, and the police investigated you, and decided there was not enough evidence to charge you with a crime, should your boss go ahead and fire you, just in case? And if he does NOT fire you, should your boss be held guilty of harassment too, for not firing you after the authorities cleared you?"
Let's be a little more realistic here...
If I was vice president of a respected division of a company and was accused of raping not just anybody that worked with me but the, uh, Girl Scout child who would occasionally visit to sell her cookies and my boss, the president of this division was told about it by his respected executive assistant who claims to have witnessed it and has no reason to fabricate such a claim whatsoever so my boss believes him and notifies the Human Resource dept to investigate it just like our "company policy" states to do when there's a 'complaint' and for whatever reason, even though I've been previously investigated for the same crime, they deem that there's not enough evidence to prove I raped the girl scout then YES, definitely my boss should have found a reason to fire me anyway because I sure as hell would have found a way to fire anyone who worked under me in such a respected position and had the 'poor misfortune' of finding themselves again being investigated for child rape. - If I have a company to run here it's just not going to get done with a two time accused child rapist working amongst us. That's just common sense to me. I wouldn't blame my boss a bit for cutting my ass loose on that one. Now should my boss be let go too? Absolutely! We're talking about child rape here! You need to call the POLICE because it's THE LAW, not follow some lame ass co. policy that says they need to call security or human resources or some screwed up @!$%#e like that! (holy bejeesus could you imagine what the hell would be able to go on at work if co's wrote their own damn state/fed laws???)
In New York we have schools where children walk through metal detectors to have their weapons - whatever they may be - confiscated by Armed Guards before they enter the building. Now do you think for one bloody second that if one of these kids jumps through an open window and into the school and fires just one gun shot that drives a bullet into the ceiling that the educators and the counselors are then calling the guards office like it states to do in case of any disturbance on the grounds? Or do you think maybe they're calling 911?
If you think for one second that they're calling the guards office then your head just ain't screwed on right. And yes, this analogy applies because the pedophile is by nature predatory which means they go out and hunt - just like the kids at Columbine did - and a few of the pedophiles victims wind up committing suicide because of it - it's very much the delayed bullet - and few become predators themselves, and few go on to lead damaged lives even with counseling, and fewer still get to eventually lead a normal life free from performing lap dances and suffering from perpetual drug abuse.
So yes, by all means think about if some one at work accused you of "something" but lets at least keep the context correct and not kid ourselves by thinking that "harassment" some how equates with child rape and the companies human resource or paid private security dept. equates with the counties publicly paid peace officers.
Do you read and fully understand what happened here and the timeline involved? Sandusky was no longer an employee of the University......had been TOLD he was not in contention for the head coach position......and had resigned/retired from the coaching staff FOUR FREAKIN' year before!
And let's not forget that McQueary was not just a young student. He was over 6 feet tall, over 200 pounds, and a graduate student. He was not 18-19 years old-he was 28. I can not believe that any adult would see a child being raped and do nothing, go home, mull it over with dad, then tell a football coach. I would have handed the guy his n%$s and called the police immediately, as would most decent people, regardless of weather I might have lost me scholarship.
Realist.... Sandusky was previously investigated in the 1990s for a prior incident and he was still allowed on the university premises including the changing rooms if the reports are correct.
So are you trying to say that these folks did not know anything about his inappropiate behaviour with children? The powers that be all the way to the Prosecutor knew there were questions, and the culture was to do nothing, see nothing and say nothing for the good of the university and the program from the look of things imo.
It would seem that there are those of you who seem to want to perpetuate that behaviour by blaming the messenger...
Sandusky still had some power or regard there and thus believability/credibility to the folks at the uni, even as a long time employee and former heir apparent, isn't that why he was able to continue to have access to and thus able to continue his 'activities' on their premises....
If they had even believed McQueary in the first place, the powers that be should have and could have found a way of not having Sandusky on their premises at all.... they could have found a way of not having him on uni property at all if they had wanted to imo.
Frankly it is hard to believe that someone who has worked at a place for over 40 years would not know where the bodies are buried, all the skeletons that are in the closets and that would also include those in the police/security etc.
Most folks are regaled with all the gossip etc, who is going out with whom, who did what etc within months of starting work at a new company.... yet after 40 odd years of working at the same place .... the head coach supposedly did not know anything? He heard or suspected nothing, nada, zero, zip? Really?
How is that possible when he was the head honcho of the program and whatever occured/done may or could have had a negative impact on his reputation and department? So no one would have reported to him or even whispered to him putting him or others of the powers that be in the know even as a matter of just in case, for the good of the program and the uni.....?
How is it that he and the powers that be, including the police etc knew nothing about the proclivities of Paterno's heir apparent, 2nd in command and then former 'heir apparent/ 2nd in command' even after he was investigated in the 90s? Think the investigators would not have.... given the ptbs including Paterno the 'heads up' you know the nudge nudge wink wink?
What is all this .... plausible deniability at play?
Could it be possible that is why Paterno did not retire rather working into his 80s while Sandusky who was his heir apparent/second in command and who was/is younger was the one who retired?
You folks can pretend all you want that folks including men do not gossip about each other, and continue to pretend that everyone at that uni and in the program liked each other so much that no one would have spilled Sandusky's indiscretions to Paterno or anyone else in the department etc..... especially after he retired and was no longer the second in command and could not pull posititon etc and wreak or threaten to wreak havoc in the person's life and career if they spilled the beans to the head coach or anyone else in upper management....
Frankly whereas some folks may not have wanted to inform the powerful head coach Paterno... as he could have mistakenly viewed it as questioning his ability to do his job, or ability to judge character regarding chosing a.... umm.... an upright, honorable successor, or he may have viewed the news abt his choice as an underhanded way of probably trying to get the second in command position etc, as he Paterno had supposedly previously given the nod to, chosen Sandusky to succeed him in the first place, didn't he?
What, did these folks live under the Cone of Silence? Pity they did not Get Smart....LOL
McQueary appears to be the one now being victimized for testifying what he saw, did do and who he reported it to imo..... Nothing new there.... It is the usual way isn't it... blame the messenger or the person who tries to do what is right... by telling him/her that he or she did not do enough.
As if there was any more he could have done that would have made any difference back then, as even now folks are running for cover, ducking, bobbing, weaving, gyrating etc..... from the look of things....
Sounds like moves in a football game huh..... LOL
Have they found that prosecutor who was doing the original investigations and whose car was found in the lake with his computer but without its hard drive yet?
I can't understand that after a grand jury's findings, that any judge would let this guy loose on bond. There is definitly two layers of justice, one for the haves, one for the have nots.
......and don't forget the type of justice doled out to sports super stars and the training grounds from which they spring. Football is a quintillion (is that a word?) dollar industry. If one of the victums had not come forward the good old boys club would still be allowing (by virtue if inaction) the perverse activity to continue.
And why don't they come forward more redily? Because by doing so they are forced to come to terms with not only being violated by a figure of authority, but now the whole world is going to be knowledgable to that violation. More likely than not they will be viewed in a different (and not better) light.
He's freaking oblivious or in denial or whatever, that every time he opens his own damn mouth he says something additional that puts peoples stomach in a knot. 'Blowing on kids stomachs'? What the feck does THAT mean? Is he talking about belly farts? Because if he is I have a son and I haven't done that to him since he was TWO - much less someone else's kid! I can't imagine some 50 yr. old coming up to like an ELEVEN yr. old a 'blowing on his stomach'.
And dude...what's with the WRESTLING? You're a FOOTBALL coach, and I fully understand that teens and pre-teens like to wrestle....WITH EACH OTHER. What the feck kind of 40 - 60 yr old gets down and "wrestles" with 9 - 11 yr. olds??? And then...blows on their STOMACHS?!
This idiot needs to shut the feck up already and realize that we all know this is CLASSIC 'breaking down the boundary' behavior of pedophiles. It's right up there with the alleged 'innocently placing of the mans hand on the boys thigh while driving' technique.
And lordy, don't even get me started on the private bank accounts....
This guy just makes me feel like I'm going to die of a vomit attack. And I have to say, it freaks me out a bit that one of alleged victims is ministering. That's a bit of a crazy coincidence, no?
And I have to say, it freaks me out a bit that one of alleged victims is ministering. That's a bit of a crazy coincidence, no?
The cycle just goes on and on and on and on...
While I understand the natural inclination to jump to this conclusion please remember that most survivors do NOT become offenders. Most of us have great compassion and empathy for the vulnerable who suffer in this world.
It is true that of those who do offend most of them were victims themselves. There is a big difference.
Exactly, Episcopalian. There is a HUGE difference. Most offenders were themselves victimized. Most victims, however, don't become offenders. A little critical thinking goes a long way. :-)
"Why does the media insist on conducting interviews with the accused? They are never going to admit anything."
... but this guy did admit to a great deal of things. "I shouldn't have showered with them." and other statements in the interview pretty well sums it up by his own admission.
One of the things I find alarming is that he was not separated from access to these kids while he was being investigated for molesting kids, and apparently two or three more were violated while they were checking to see if he was violating kids. If they didn't have reason to believe he was doing this, they wouldn't have been investigating him, and if they had reason to believe he was doing it, they should have done something to stop it then!
Mr. Sandusky - your refusal to admit your wrongdoings is the sickest part of you! If you think you get to hide behind your "badge of respect" - you are wrong!! You will endure the price somehow and some way... as you should! All of you sicko's will eventually pay whether in life or in death - but you WILL pay the price for your evil ways with these innocents!!
That's right Mr. Sandusky, Your refusal to confess to a crime, (whether you committed that crime or not does not matter,) but your refusal to admit it is the sickest part of you.
Not the raping kids part, that is not the sickest, but the refusing to admit it, (even if you didn't do it, because you have NOT been convicted yet.) Yea that's it.
Just bring on the Inquisitors, and lets do it like we did in the Dark Ages. If they say they are innocent, just torture the crap out of them until they confess. No need for a trail that way, we can just lock up anyone we don't like, even you Barbslifeisgood. If I want your job, all i have to do is accuse you of a horrific crime, and then the Spanish Inquisition will torture you until you confess, then we will give you a trail. After you confess.
And if you don't confess, then that will be the sickest part of you, and we shall punish even more harshly for being extra sick.
Cmg...It doesn't work that way. I have read dozens of posts to the same effect and I assure you he will PC up as soon as he hits the jail/prison. Sadly, the people that deserve to be raped in prison are not the ones that actually are raped. The victims tend to be first time offenders, of slight build, in on non-violent crimes, not affiliated with any gang--and they are put in a cell with a lifer or someone doing a long sentence with nothing to lose. That is the profile. Sandusky will be put in PC. It would not appeal to the institution he is in for more media coverage of him being abused while in prison. Won't happen. Besides, inmates tend to attack men like him, not rape them. They would be more inclined to beat him to death or shank him. Most inmates are as disgusted by pedophiles as the rest of us.
colorblind: I do agree with you. How about old Jerry gets beat to death or shanked after he gets raped??? Just so he will know what it's like when you don't want it....
what the hell is "blow on their stomachs"? What a sick bastard. Lock him up without trial in a women's prison. He might like the shower in regular jail.
If you don't know then clearly you have no children, nor any siblings. We call it blowing raspberries, but basically it is part of tickling and similar goofing around, when you put your mouth on someone stomach, and blow, makes a sound a lot like a fart. Nothing perverted about it.
I have done it with all four of my kids, and every single parent and or sibling on the planet has as well.
What a bunch of sick bastards we all are.
How about you actually let him be convicted before you lock him up? Or are Constitutional rights, and due process of law too much for you to have to deal with? Just lock up every one who is ever accused, actual guilt is just a formality, right?
t's not very often something makes me a proponent of the death penalty, but reading this article and thinking of my son being around something like this...thing...makes me wish that we had a punishment of disembowelment for things like this like the movie Braveheart.
Oh and supporters of JoePa - Sandusky states that he never spoke to Paterno about any of it. After 2 incidents where Paterno knew about it. Paterno deserves a much worse fate than being fired. He deserves whatever this creature gets. To think that both of them are still walking around free and not behind bars makes me sick.
in response, let's just say I support those falsely accused of misconduct. We're all waiting for McQueary's testimony and what exactly he said to Paterno, because without that, nobody knows how the incident was described. Even so, Paterno did the right thing -- he reported it to his superiors. Look - Sandusky had nothing to do with the football program or Paterno in 2002; he retired years earlier. Sandusky was only given access to the football facilities through the Athletic Dept - Curley was charged with perjury by the Grand Jury, and was fired by the Board. Don't know how justice is served in Phoenix, but until the facts are revealed, how about keeping your gallows noose in check...
Common Sense: Please keep the rational views going! You sound like you may be a PSU grad, or at least, from PA (as I am both). No one knows for sure what McQueary saw, what "details" he reported to Paterno, or anything else. Even the police claim that McQueary did NOT report anything to them, even though he claims to have done so.
If it turns out that the wrost if true, THEN the guilty parties deserve the harshest punishments allowed by law...but let's let all that play out and make that decison after judgement is passed.
Actually, Common Sense, Sandusky was still on the PSU payroll as late as this past spring. He was in my state recruiting players for PSU in the spring of 2011. Knowing that, I cannot give JoePa and PSU the benefit of the doubt. Sandusky had already been under investigation for 2 YEARS and they still let him represent the school and meet with children. Sandusky needs to go to prison for a the rest of his life and firing was too good for Paterno and the school Pres. JoePa and PSU enabled this sick SOB by turning their backs on the situation and these poor children are paying the price for their apathy.
Imablack - please cite your information. I cannot find anything like that. Sundusky receives a pension from PSU, but that is not the same as saying he is current employed by PSU, as you imply.
yes, imablack, please cite your information -- I just spent the last hour trying to find something where Sandusky was on the payroll, or that he recruited -- i found nothing on the first account, and the only recruiting that I see mentioned involved a kid from South Carolina. But there's been updates to that story, such as the HS coach saying he knew nothing of Sandusky being around or of recruiting anyone... and then an official at the All-Poly Camp in Utah saying Sandusky was never there either. Grand Jury report makes no mention of him being on the payroll after 1999, only that he was given 'emeritus' status and negotiated a number of perks in his retirement contract ( access to the football facilities, discount at campus bookstore, tuition discounts for family, etc ) -- maybe 'emeritus' gave him some kind of official capacity with the University; i'd like to see more info here.
It was on a local SC news station that I saw the story where Sandusky was in Spartenburg recruiting and another story on CNN stating (Anderson Copper I think) that he was recruiting in SC and had still been on PSU payroll. I wish I could give you the exact dates. I haven't seen any reports disputing the claims since then, but that doesn't mean I didn't miss a retraction somewhere. But either way, the claim at the time came from reputable news outlets, not hearsay from comment boards.
Well my Mom lives there, and I have visited several times, from what I have seen, and from news coverage, Justice there is pretty typically Republican, By which I mean if we don't like you, you are guilty, and if we do like you, but it makes us look bad, your guilty.
Just like ALL people of Hispanic decent in Phoenix are Illegal.
No need for trials down here, if they decide you are guilty, then who needs a trial? "we all know ya did it, boy"
In the words of a Phoenix native, "If we just deport all those damn Mexicans, I might could find a job, and not have to worry about my house being broke into."
When I replied to him that we can't deport ALL of the Mexicans, because some of them are actually here legally, He responded, "what's that got to do with anything?"
I can't believe anyone thinks this pervert preyed on little children for over thirty years without virtually everyone ignoring his behavior. He didn't hide it, the fact that he pulled the same stuff year after year even after McQueary saw him raping a child and told JoePa shows that no one was ever going to do anything. And I think Sandusky's wife knew from day one, helped him get access to children, and was never anything more than a his accomplice in raping children. I have heard of cases where married couples adopted children for the husband to rape and molest, and I expect that this is the case here. Thank heavens that one mother, a child, and the high school football coach came forward or this would have gone on forever. The latest two victims are being investigated by CFS because they are under 18, and rumor has it that one of Sandusky's grandchildren who is very young is one of them. At least the ex-daughter in law is stepping up to the plate for her three kids and got a restraining order against this monster, but apparently it was too late. With the first civil suit file, I think that the they lawsuits will number in the hundreds, and after a legal conviction the civil cases will skyrocket. The rumors from a local columnist that there was pimping of children to big donors shows that this case could grow into a massive case of the good old boy network ignoring the raping and pimping of children for over thirty years.
The high school football coach NEVER called the police! Please google Victim 1 or One and you will find articles quoting Victim 1's mother that the school did not report & in fact warned her against reporting, so she took her son to Child & Youth Services (CYS) where an abuse counselor called the police. Another NYTimes article stated that Victim 1 quit that school this fall after they fired his track coach (Hunter) for merely emailing him to focus more on his studies and not give up on track. The boy felt the school officials were punishing him for reporting because the football coach/Asst. Principal allowed Sandusky to take him out of school without his mother's knowledge or consent. Google those articles and you will find the high school football coach was complicit & is now doing CYA big time... just like Sandusky is doing in this interview.
well JanM, if spreading rumors had any merit, I'd give you an A++. WTF ?!?! this is incredible -- and you don't even attempt to hide it -- "rumors from a local columnist" indeed. and now you've got Sandusky's wife involved in this?!?!? yeah, well the Harrisburg Patriot-News was reporting a few weeks ago that PSU professors were telling their students that the Paterno statue was slated for removal over Thanksgiving. well, it's still there. Guess you haven't quite caught onto the fact that the MEDIA manufacturers the news because it's good business - just ask ESPN about their coverage on the night Paterno was fired: they were checking every 5 minutes with no less than 3 live reporters on campus to see 'if a riot had erupted yet' (yes i was watching that sham unfold). geez louise, no wonder a local news van was overturned -- it was not an act of protest over the firing (like ESPN was so wanting to report the next day) -- it was that some people had just had enough of the media circus.
You have all kinds of "Theory's" of what MIGHT have happened and NO FACTS just conjecture. just like everyone else on this board. So far you have convicted everyone connected to this case, including Sandusky's wife, IMHO your nutz...why not convict the whole State of Pennsylvania while your at it, oh yeah AND Obama too Jeeeeeeeeeeeezus you people suck, like a pack of wolves on a kill
I haven't heard about the rumor of possible child pimping, but it wouldn't surprise me. There was a big cover up in Boys Town in Nebraska that was never really resolved. It went all the way up to politiacians and lobbyists in Washington. Here is a link; there was a Discovery Channel special that was never aired (there are still copies on the net):
The other thing I would be concerned about, although it may seem like an unpopular thing to say, is that they should be looking in to some of Sandusky's grown accusers who are currently working with children (like the kid who went on a mission to work with kids in Mexico). Most abusers were abused as children.
JanM1 seems to have some facts about this case that have not been released to the public, such as the involvement of Sandusky's wife.
Clearly JanM1 is an accomplice, how else could he/she know these details.
I suspect that JanM1 was the broker who handled the exchanges between Sandusky's wife and the Big Donors, laundering the Money back into Sandusky's accounts, in exchange for one or two kids a month for his or her own personal pleasure.
My thought exactly, when I saw the headline. What kind of moron attorney lets his client do long interviews with the media? The client should be instructed to say absolutely nothing to anyone about the case, and the attorney should say, "My client maintains his complete innocence of these charges." Period. Not another word.
Sandusky's attorney is handling public relations to counter media coverage portraying his client as a "shoulda, coulda, woulda" monster who preyed on kids. He doesn't need a new attorney - he needs a public relations firm to handle the media. Paterno's law firm is HUGE & has their own public relations arm. Doubt Sandusky has the same financial ability to hire those big guns so his attorney is doing it, but PR has always been the job of defense counsel.
Wow. That is probably the scariest thing I have read yet on here. I mean 90% of the posters have him convicted, but you are the first one to come right out and say:
"Burn the Constitution, and bring on the Lynch Mob. Who needs courts? Just close down the legal system, do away with all of our rights, and just hang whoever we don't like, or whoever I decide deserves to die."
To which I reply, Stalin and Hitler would have LOVED YOU.
AfghanWarVet, you are going overboard. You know very well that is not what she meant. He ADMITTED to showering with boys and fumbles when asked if he is sexually attracted to boys. I have intelligence and common sense. I don't need a jury trial to tell me that this guy is a classic pedophile. So if someone kills a loved one of yours, but you didn't see it, would you still jump up and say, "I am goint to get angry after the court determined he did it" ? Seriously? Call me a "lynch mobster" or whatever, but I would have beat the crap out of Sandusky had my child been one of the victms. I certainly would not have waited for the "court" to tell me it was okay to get mad, (which is what normal caring people are doing here). Most of us don't accept child rape.
It seems for one reason or another you are attacking sandusky's credibility. I am NOT defending sandusky all I am saying is how do you know the allegations are true unless you know someone or have ties into it.
Its time for Sandusky to face the music. He thinks he can manipulate the outcome but the facts are facts and they will be revealed. And yes he is entitled to look for legal loopholes and he can lie but the facts are overwhelming.
In prison pedophiles are the lowest of the low. Even criminals find them morally disgusting and do not tolerate them.
Nite Nurse, Your right and the sad thing is people are going to attack comments like this because there is an army of pervert Michael Jackson freaks out there. But you are on target. P.S this guy will get his when they put him hopefully in general population.
I don't buy it, Jerry! Go to HELL
theres always three sides to a story, his...theres....and THE TRUTH!!!!, i find the media always goes with the story that catches more eyes.
What ever happend to innocent to proven guilty
Jerry, Jerry, Jerry...
You're behind by three touchdowns early in the second quarter. It's not time to be doing interviews on the sideline.
Go huddle up with your attorney in the locker room (don't shower with him though) and get your second half plan together.
If you don't want the media and the court of public opinion to skewer you mercilessly, just keep your mouth closed.
I'm sure you want your day in court to let the facts come out. Why are you digging holes in the end zone to jump into??? Why?
This guy reminds me of a Macho Michael Jackson, Oh we just play around on the bed we don't really do nothing,I love little boys...Why are we wasting money on this douche.
RYAN: I agree with innocence until proven guilty but these allegations and his behavior in this case is sickening. He had little boys sleep over his house, he admitted took showers with them and he was caught in the shower sexually abusing a child. This is not his word against the child, a third party saw what was going on. Give him his day in court, but in the meantime the media has every right to expose this sick manipulating, piece of crap.
Deeper Jerry, dig the hole deeper.
Agreed. Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire.
I wish the reporter had asked Sandusky..."Well, if nothing happened, What exactly did Mike McQueary see when you were naked in the shower with that boy?"
When this guy does get convicted ( and he will ) and sent to prison, please just keep him in the general prison population. That will be TRUE justice.
How could any grown man in their right mind possibly think that taking a shower with a 10 yr old boy be a good idea.
I raised boys and never did I take a shower with my own kids. That's just crazy..
This guy needs to be locked up. Guilty as hell and he knows it..
Perhaps they should ordain him into the Catholic's priesthood. It sounds like he meets the per-requisites.
@colorblind:
I will have to disagree with you. I played sports all thru grade school, high school, & college and I have never seen an erection in the shower...Just sayin...
@united:
Is an erection common in a group shower? I guess it can and does happen I suppose, but common NO..
No doubt Bob!!!
I must be weird then. I've never gotten a spontaneous erection from a warm shower.
It probably helps if you're showering with people you're attracted to. That would women for me and small boys for Jerry Sandusky.
I don't buy it. Nor do I buy Sandusky's denials. It would be better by far if he said nothing.
all you emeffers out there who are soooooo concerned about precious children...look at some of the news about "co-lateral" damage from our heroic bombing of iraq, afghanistan, libya, etc. i'd suggest the video of the 4 year old libyan boy who's lower jaw was blown off by one of our smart bombs...the flailing tongue and the unstoppable howling will put your foolish priorities in order if you can eat or sleep again...and this is happening NOW not twenty years ago.
@ Bob Williams-698158:
I certainly see the point/s you're making and got a great chuckle to start the day out with.......thanks.
I too get erections for the hell of it, and at my age that's pretty cool, but unless I'm having sex with a consenting adult of the opposite sex, it's in my pants; although it has sprung to life and caused a few embarrassing situations.......
Please don't outlaw erections! A new bumper sticker........
Nice try Jerry.
That's all I wanted, something special,
Something sacred in your eyes,
For just one moment, to be bold and naked
At your side
Chorus
I will be your father figure (Oh baby)
Put your tiny hand in mine (I'd love to)
I will be your preacher teacher (Be your daddy)
Anything you have in mind (It would make me)
I will be your father figure (Very happy)
I have had enough of crime (Please let me)
I will be the one who loves you
till the end of time
That's all I wanted
But sometimes love can be mistaken for a crime...
Let's face it, men have erections, sometimes when we wish we didn't, just don't use them on a child.
The Sandusky debacle still has a LONG way to go.
David: Why must you refer to this man as Mr. Sandusky? Just because the liberal media continues to respect him, why should you?
Sherpa,
Never met the guy.
@valharween
Every time this scum denies it, he traumatizes his victims all over again.
so very true. however, the light of truth is emerging from the terrible darkness for all of these boys who have lived in a nightmare world for these awful years. to all those men who knew, and believed these boys would "get-over it", "it's no big deal", "these things happen", i do hope this monster of a person never creeps into the life of your loved one, your sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters because how could you possibly keep that attitude, and inform your family child: "its no big deal, jerry really is a nice guy, get over it."
twitch, no offense, but why would he say he did something on live tv.
This sounds like Michael Jackson all over again. I don't think these pedos really understand. Not that it makes a difference.
Lock this guy up.
@Cheryl,
I agree. I really think that in their twisted minds they really don't think that they are doing really anything wrong.
Sandusky fits the pedifile profile so well it makes me sick.
dano...You are right on target.
@cheryl
"This sounds like Michael Jackson all over again. I don't think these pedos really understand. Not that it makes a difference.
Lock this guy up."
HEY THEY NEVER LOCKED UP MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great post kaybeetoys:
@All MJ accusers,
Just google MJ's accuser recants molestation story.
Jordan Chandler...google,yahoo, whatever search suits you...it is the only truth...see for yourselves!
How did "just say no" actually work , Bob?
To their minds, it was. That is why our society is so sick. What we value is worthless, what we discard is worth everything.
When i shower at the gym after a workout does that make the other guys in there a monster?
No, you are an adult showering with other adults correct?
ryan,
Yes, if your a 10 yr old boy and they are adults...Grown men with erections in the shower with 10 yr old's?? I think you must know the answer to that..
Don't need to throw away the key. Put him in general population and let the other inmates do the dirty work.....
Bite.
Chandra, Moon,
Call me crazy but what you are saying makes no sense to me.
You do?
Congratulations you're a pedophile.
Afghan Warvet,
I don't think you are crazy just accustomed, like many other people are, to business as usual when it comes to how to deal with the everyday issues concerning children.
Sincerely,
Moondust
Mr. Steve--
Your posts always seem to be so conspiritorial based, no matter what the subject matter. Have you ever been treated for paranoid schizophrenia?
I wouldn't go quite so far as to accuse the subordinates and superiors as sharing in the booty (sorry about the choice of words), but the military taught me early in life that if you witness something wrong and do nothing to correct it, you're just as guilty as the one who messed up in the first place. There is such a thing as guilt by association, and that's what I find the faculty and administration guilty of.
Kathryn-
I certainly hope you are not a mental health professional because to suggest a clinical diagnosis based on reading an individual's internet posts is highly inappropriate and unethical.
It is simply sick.
this man smells like rotted meat!Soon the details will all leak out and this predator will join bubba in the showers!
@tax weary1:
This man just needs to just the feck up already.
The cycle just goes on and on and on and on...
While I understand the natural inclination to jump to this conclusion please remember that most survivors do NOT become offenders. Most of us have great compassion and empathy for the vulnerable who suffer in this world.
It is true that of those who do offend most of them were victims themselves. There is a big difference.
Exactly, Episcopalian. There is a HUGE difference. Most offenders were themselves victimized. Most victims, however, don't become offenders. A little critical thinking goes a long way. :-)
First off, why oh why are they giving this .... guy.... interview time?~
And second, where did he get this behavior? From dear ole DAD? Or a twisted uncle/priest/mentor?
Sick, twisted, scummy perv is too nice for him.
Why does the media insist on conducting interviews with the accused? They are never going to admit anything.
Ratings. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, but ratings really matters. Ethics of journalism are fast going down the crapper.
... but this guy did admit to a great deal of things.
Oh, and thanks for the Job.
please don't give these alleged animals the courtesy of calling them Mr.
Can't wait for him to go to prison so he can be mentored by the other inmates.
Big Bubba would just be having a little innocent fun, huh?
dano...We can hope....No harm in that.
Hopefully he'll be in protective custody-for the rest of his life. He can play with himself then, or maybe hang himself with his d%$#.
what the hell is "blow on their stomachs"?
Just lock up every one who is ever accused, actual guilt is just a formality, right?
right
t's not very often something makes me a proponent of the death penalty, but reading this article and thinking of my son being around something like this...thing...makes me wish that we had a punishment of disembowelment for things like this like the movie Braveheart.
Welcome to Republican country and mentality.
JanM1
You have all kinds of "Theory's" of what MIGHT have happened and NO FACTS just conjecture. just like everyone else on this board. So far you have convicted everyone connected to this case, including Sandusky's wife, IMHO your nutz...why not convict the whole State of Pennsylvania while your at it, oh yeah AND Obama too Jeeeeeeeeeeeezus you people suck, like a pack of wolves on a kill
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
So how dangerous and ridiculous rumors can be?
Grow up Jan, and wait for the conviction.
I think Sandusky needs a new lawyer.
Right. The groundwork has been laid for a claim of inadequate representation.
What ever happened to commom sense and "reading the handwriting on the wall"? Forget about not guilty until proven.
Jerry Sandusky is sick and the rationalizing of his behavior on camara makes it quite obvious. These behaviors are not normal.
Mr. Sandusky, you don't have a side.
It seems for one reason or another you are attacking sandusky's credibility. I am NOT defending sandusky all I am saying is how do you know the allegations are true unless you know someone or have ties into it.
I don't have to witness a pedophile raping my child to believe my child. His victims are no less valuable.
"Blowing on their stomachs," If there stomachs are located between their legs.
For Bo's sake, I hope Sandusky isn't into beastiality.
I think the SPCA should investigate, just to be safe.
He's the white Michael Jackson, "I just love the children."
Nite Nurse, Your right and the sad thing is people are going to attack comments like this because there is an army of pervert Michael Jackson freaks out there. But you are on target. P.S this guy will get his when they put him hopefully in general population.
I thought Michael Jackson was white. lol
