Boy, what a hypocrite! I remember Gaddafi calling for the revolt of Palestinians against Israel. He also called for Jihad against Switzerland. Instead HE is being ousted. Ahmadinejad should worry about the stability of his own country since THEY already tried to revolt against him.
He may be right look what we have running this country he's just like them but he just can't get the rest of you to go along with it. If he did we would be up to our necks with socialism.
Reason Obama's birth certificate is not shown it has no fathers name on it, then the real truth would be out.
There could be some upheaval in the US, but it won't be because of the reasons he is talking about. American issues will arise out of two parties with fundamentally different platforms and no real areas of compromise between the two. It is a game of all or nothing in Washington and the public is left frustrated in the middle. Growing frustration could become a problem if bipartisan solutions to immigration, budget deficits, taxes, unions, etc. are not found. The public wants solutions and each party views the public's angst as a validation of their platform over the other - and the cycle continues.
The public wants solutions and each party views the public's angst as a validation of their platform over the other - and the cycle continues.
The public gets the government that it deserves. If primary voters stopped electing extremists as their nominees, there might be a chance for compromise. If the public at large would stop voting the party line, and voted for an independent, there might be a chance for compromise. If people actually VOTED, there might be a chance for compromise. Instead, we have the mess that we have because that's what the majority of the VOTING public wants. They'd rather have "Joe the Plumber" and a sounde-bite than someone with 30 years of experience who actually understands economics, the principles of constitutional government and the intricacies of foreign affairs, even if all these things can't be explained in 5-second catch phrase.
Dave, the success of our country is built on gridlock. Gridlock helps to promote the most popular laws while preventing extreme laws from being enacted. I would say America's problems stem from too much Springer, Survivor, and Jersey Shore where the behavior of the dregs of Society are put on display and idolized. Actually, I was watching CSPAN the other day and couldn't figure out why Snookie wasn't in that particular episode.
And Chris Matthews and other left wingers accepts pennies for their furthering the left wing agenda.
Gimme a break. grouscheeoleman, spewing hate such as yours is one of the reasons this country is in the mess it is in. Anything against your view is wrong.
There is a middlle of the road and most sane Americans believe in the same thing, and not along party lines.
I'll take moderate Pubs and Dems any day of the week. The far left and the far right (which includes the Tea Party types) need to be marginalized by stronger and the more numerous moderates in the center.
zoroaster - I understand your post and actually agree with a lot of what you are saying. The system we have was built to slow things down. This slow down, creates problems when coupled with today's 24-hour news cycle and the attitude of it's my way or the highway (reality TV). It is our new reality and a lot of people don't realize its full impact on politics. There is no room for compromise because votes might be lost - you have to keep your base happy. People want action and expect it. Congress can't deliver because of political liabilities which they are not willing to face. It creates an atmosphere of animosity and the news feeds on it - adding fuel to the fire. Unless we relearn the art of compromise, there will be trouble in the future.
Our politicians better learn fast or it will be a liability that they do not start doing something that's in a forward moving direction. All the right wingers do is gridlock or move backwards, waste time. they talk a big game but when it comes down to it they are for large money interests only not for the good of all.
We know that the Republican party was created by *more have and elite) to serve their interest tricked the radical right to get their support, then they added the tea party a bunch of frustrated former republicans. Capitalism is to the benefit of the individual while socialism is for the benefit of the community, so we got a former community server as a president, then we have the Chinese who managed to combine Capitalism and socialism into one entity with centralized government
Dave you are so right! Maybe the Washington idiots would get the message if we all stopped contributing to the Dems AND Repubs and voted Independent, Libertarian or Green, ANYTHING but the two old parties.
He is such a trip! He thinks he's got his finger on the pulse of the world when in reality he's got his finger on the ticking time bomb that is his own country! I think his tenure as the President of Iran is rapidly coming to a close.

Well many people in the middle east can't comprehend the fact that some people actually LIKE their government. We may have our problems and arguments, but we can settle them with debates and elections. That's what separates us from them. Unfortunately, all these new civil uprisings over there will just lead to more of the same. Without a well thought-out constitution in place BEFORE their new government is established, they are doomed to end up with the same old totalitarian regime.
Hey now... Iran can have trolls just like other organizations surfing the web. Jack just does drive-by stupidity and sails on to other posts. He'll never read a comment made about him because he gets paid to kick the hornet's nest, then runs away.
9 deleted, JWKELLY72 wishing 'that Muslims in this country would do suicide bombings and detonate bombs'. Elsewhere extremely pro-Nazi/genocide. Banned, terrible.
Meanwhile, Russia slumbers on, not realizing that they are a lot closer than Western Europe and the US, and that the Islamic "fight for liberation" from Christianity has already started in the Land of the Czars..and that Iran is secretly helping this along...
They are still too busy chasing the dollar like an amazed beachgoer running out to see the uncovered treasures left by a receding sea before a tsunami roars back...
barry you should probably listen to akmadinajads speaches, in every one of them he asks for help in hastening the return of the 12th imam , look up that guy , and what he means , and you will understan that oh yes this is an islam thing
Does he realise what is going in all Iranian cities, is he living in Iran or not. One thing that the Iranians do best is spreading roumers and telling lies.
His days and his bosses days are coming to an end soon
Speaking on (Iranian) state TV Wednesday, the president also condemned Libya's use of force against demonstrators and urged Libyan leaders to give in to the demands of their people.
Didn't the Iranian leaders last week warn the Iranian people not to be protesting?
Ahmadinejad is an idiot! Having said that, this turmoil will not happen in America or Europe, because both lands believe in basic human rights and democracy!
We can all thank Al Gore for all of this, if he hadn't created the internet none of these uprisings would have happened and spread like wildfire and while I'm at it thanks for all this snow too.
Ahmadinejad is possibly more prescient than he realizes. What he clearly doesn't realize is that in the 'popular uprisings' around the world each reveals the unique circumstances of the society that gives rise to it. Technology in general and the wide-spread growth of instant news and communication via the Internet, etc., weaken the strangle-hold of despotic regimes. Yet it also reflects the cultural orientation of each nation. Thus, an uprising in one country that may result in an Islamist takeover does not mean that a neighboring country's unrest won't result in something much more open and democratic. Similarly, other than people in the streets it is clear that the protests in Madison are different than those in Cairo in significant ways. History may prove Ahmadinejad prophetic in making statements that presage his own governments downfall.
What a shameless attempt to spin a story. The Iranian President uses his Basij to repress his people, rigs elections, and now gets up and says this unrest is coming to Europe and America. Not likely, we don't rig elections, we don't use hired thugs to beat our people in the streets. Shamless.
I think the you should revisit the last two presidential elections in this country before you go making statemennts like that. The two that gave bush the election, when he clearly didnt win. Thank you supreme court
The kids at Kent state would also probably disagree with you about the thugs, and also the uaw workers back in the 30's....need I go on?
Most days I think this guy is a crack head - but other times he makes statements that have a peculiarly stark and sharp hint of truthfulness. For now, the upheaval is in the middle east. And I do believe it will spread to Europe - and even here to the US. And I wonder if this upheaval will become the class and religious war we've all been warned about?
A good amount of the upheaval is about taking down those who live much too well off the people's backs. The inequality seems to have finally reached the boiling point. But, after the de-throwning, those left lack the education and/or experience to govern masses of people. In most cases, the only thing they will have left is religious leaders who will shackle new found freedoms with religious doctrine. And the upheaval will turn to holy wars.
You can bet US security is very busy feeling the pulse of the homeland. We have hundreds of thousands - if not millions - who are disenchanted with politicians, corporate greed, welfare/unions/cartels, and again, religious factions who wage political dominance.
I probably don't have all the parts and pieces exactly correct - there are just too many variables. But, this WILL be a very interesting time for the history/future of our planet and will undoubtedly set the stage for the next couple thousand years.
Does anyone really listen to the terrorist Ahmadinejad? Ahmadinejad is a loser and a dictator who uses his military against the citizens of Iran and puts to death those who oppose his government!
The people of Iran must fight back with force and execute Ahmadinejad and his leadership in order to acheive their freedom! Stand up people of Iran and show the world that you will no longer put up with the dictator Ahmadinejad!
Best way to deal with Iran is not to give them any media attention. Unfortunately, CNN, BBC and many more of them vie for his attention. And the idiot takes advantage of the situation. We never learn huh?
"He never accepted U.S. money to kill and torture his own and others from around the world" Jack 1776.
No you're right Jack, they finance killing their fellow citizens strictly with their own money and on occasion when stoning it really doesn't cost them anything. You just pick up the stones for free.
Boy, what a hypocrite! I remember Gaddafi calling for the revolt of Palestinians against Israel. He also called for Jihad against Switzerland. Instead HE is being ousted. Ahmadinejad should worry about the stability of his own country since THEY already tried to revolt against him.
Please pardon my previous spelling of Gadhafi.
Don't worry about it. I've seen about four different spellings of his name over the years in various media outlets. Your point is well taken.
Kadaffi, Quadaffi, Gaddafi, Qaddaffi, Khadafy, Qadhafi, Atari.....which one is it?? lol
Why not go with just plain Daffy!
More loons in Iran than Lake Woebegone.
He may be right look what we have running this country he's just like them but he just can't get the rest of you to go along with it. If he did we would be up to our necks with socialism.
Reason Obama's birth certificate is not shown it has no fathers name on it, then the real truth would be out.
Uh oh someone said socialism. We should all run to the A bomb bunkers :)
Allen-What Jim said!
I know it's a against the rules and Jim will probably be banned for a day, but I've really got to agree with him on this one.
AHHHH! This guy is such an idiot! Can some one put a muzzle on him. He barks like a little dog... annoying
Thats funny!
BGood, please be more specific. I wouldn't say he barks like a doberman. Possibly a chihuhua or yorkie...
he needs a flea collar
Actually, that would be insulting to all three breeds of dogs!
He does look a little like one of those pip-squeak purse-dogs, but That lady holding the purse, he ain't no lady (the ayatollah that is).
Well, at least we can count on him being consistently nuts.
He does look like a little beady eyed rat terrier!

And guys like Glen Puke, Rush Lardball and the rest continue to throw gas on the fire......AND LINING THEIR POCKETS WITH MILLIONS IN CASH FROM FOOLS!

That was a very concise well thought out post Dave. You are right.
Lest any of you libs have any doubt, this guy wants upheaval here, anything to further Iran and Islam.
I personally think the upheaval in the US will occur on the same day that they start charging $10 for a Big Mac.
And Chris Matthews and other left wingers accepts pennies for their furthering the left wing agenda.

His days are numbered.

Its hard to find something positive to say about this misguided idiot
He dresses better than Gaddafi.
Yep LOL still crazy.
No, he does it free of charge.
I didn't know Ahmadinejad had a brother named JACK!
A cross-dressing brother named Jackie.
I dont think Jack has anything to do with Iran, I think he is probably the ambassador from the planet LSD and a complete legend in his own lunchtime.
I think Jack is late for school....his mommy is going to be very mad...
Ahmanutjob is right. It is reaching America. It is even more of his rhetorical, hypocritical drivel we have to listen to!
Hey , Keith Mears
" Its hard to find something positive to say about this misguided idiot "
You must mean Jack-1776 .
"And he never bought into that fake holocaust rumor"
Jack, just admit it: you're on Khamenei's payroll. There's no shame in it, and it lets everybody know for sure where you're coming from.
Hey, incidentally, what are your thoughts on homosexuals? Have you found any in Tehran yet?
Hey now... Iran can have trolls just like other organizations surfing the web. Jack just does drive-by stupidity and sails on to other posts. He'll never read a comment made about him because he gets paid to kick the hornet's nest, then runs away.

Poor Russia...
What's going on in the Middle East is not an "Islamic" thing. It has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with dictators.
Good point Barry, I think the danger is to lump everything into western Islamophobia and actually miss the point of the whole thing.
barry you should probably listen to akmadinajads speaches, in every one of them he asks for help in hastening the return of the 12th imam , look up that guy , and what he means , and you will understan that oh yes this is an islam thing

Too Many Imam's on the Field! 10 year penalty!
Too many Imam's spoils the sermon.
Very sharp, people, lol
The imams don't know Jack
Does he realise what is going in all Iranian cities, is he living in Iran or not. One thing that the Iranians do best is spreading roumers and telling lies.

Ahmadinejad what a jackass. Talk about calling the kettle black.
Didn't the Iranian leaders last week warn the Iranian people not to be protesting?
He's about as good for a laugh line as Sarah palin.
Iran is a theocracy and is the farthest system from free will and democracy. Their day of a revolutionary change is coming....very soon.
Hopefully, inshallah

He is really only a figurehead, he is told what to say by the clerics in power.
Maybe Jack and JWKelly, you would be more comfortable living in Iran. I am sure they would accept you with open arms.

You better watch out --you better not cry-- you better not protest I'm tellin you why--Ahmadinejad is coming to town.
He knows when you are protesting--he knows when you're awake--he knows if your on facebook so be good or he'll beat you with a rake.
Oh.! You better watch out --you better not cry --you better not want freedom I'm tellin you why--
Ahmadinejad is coming to town!!!
