They will just get someone else to put a new one on. The biggest leash they have yet to shrug off is Islam and Islam is the problem. Check a map of the most under developed countries on earth and compare it to a map of the most muslim nations on earth. It's shockingly similar.
you think all of the hundreds of militias that have formed across this country in the past 20 years have been training for nothing? And, many of the soldiers returning from overseas and the wars are joining them, creating them. When they and the NWO protestors, as well as the "so called" anarchists get together out of the necessity of warring with the internal elements of the federal government and their ever expanding police state, it's going to be for keeps, ladies and gents. The read deal, ugly and horrible as it gets. It's nothing to look forward to or pray for, I hear allot of stupid people saying that stuff. It's however unfortunately necessary.
Anthony - I really doubt it given the complete emasculation of the American Public that has been underway for the past 40-50 Years. It's almost like a lot of people have been lobotomized, made into robot-like followers.
Now, if you want to see real unrest take away some of the garbage on TV, cheap goods from Walmart or any of the other 'Comforts' that the average American has become so used to. Hardship is not something most Americans can endure but the erosion of their freedoms seems to go about without much reaction.
Interestingly the anarchist movement in the united states gave birth to modern liberalism particularly the libertarian school of thought. A libertarian overthrow of the government would be quite ironic seeing as how the fundamental belief of libertarians is that people should be free to do anything that doesn't hurt anyone but themselves. I think I'd say I lean towards a libertarian type view but the libertarians being opposed to almost any form of control don't really strike me as the type to form a cohesive organized radical uprising. Organization is born of control and diametrically opposed to anarchy.
This "Culture and Democracy party" is nothing more than an Islamist front group, their idea of democracy is voting on who can best mete out sharia law. Look for Algeria and Tunisia to become the next Islamic states, soon to be followed by Germany, France, Great Britain and then the United States.
Maybe the last place on earth to escape sharia law will be Southern Sudan; there they've just voted for independence from the Islamist Arab north. But I don't think it will last. I expect Obama will send in American troops to put down the rebellion and reunite the secessionist South with the North. How dare the South declare their independence from sharia law? Where are their multicultural sensibilities and their respect for community cohesion? What, you say Islamists in the North hold southern Christians and animists as slaves? But they're just practicing their religion and we should all respect, even rejoice while singing the refrains of kumbaya, the practice of the religion of Islam without complaint – even if I kills us.
Ummm, No. Good luck getting Germany or France, or even Italy (slack wristed as they are) to capitulate to an authoritarian law. These countries have seen what these kinds of government do. They will not allow it's advance.
Dear Abdulanfaar, what the hell are you talking about. No Sharia law can come to this country or Europe. Even places like Iran will sooner or later break loose from what they have even if the majority still be Islamic. What these north African and middle eastern people want is to elect their own representatives. We are standing still with our mouthes shut because it is to our benefit or helping our FRIEND Israel. How could we continue with this hypocrisy is beyond me? On one hand we talk about democratization of these countries, and in the other hand, we keep people like Mobarak of Egypt in power all these years. Abdul what ever, you are not an Arab or even American. You sound like some of these tea baggers. What a piece of crab you left as comment. When I walk my dog I carry a plastic bag with me to pick up what she leaves behind. You should have left your dog at home. Everyone of these LEADERS end up in Saudi Arabia, and I guess when it is Saudi's turn they will all come to Vegas. What a deal, its a bargain or the guy in Tucson used to say in 70s "Its a conger".
Sharia Law is already being openly practiced in not-so-great-anymore Great Britain. And The dis-United States already uses taxpayer dollars to fund sharia compliant financing:
Sharia Law Gains Foothold in US -- Federal Judge Upholds Government Funding of Islam
Judge Lawrence P. Zatkoff, a federal district court judge in Michigan, dismissed a constitutional challenge to the U.S. Government's bailout of AIG, which used over a hundred million dollars in federal tax money to support Islamic religious indoctrination through the funding and promotion of Sharia-compliant financing (SCF). SCF is financing that follows the dictates of Islamic law.
Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of TMLC, commented: "Judge Zatkoff's ruling allows for oil–rich Muslim countries to plant the flag of Islam on American soil. His ruling ignored the uncontested opinions of several Sharia experts and AIG's own website, which trumpeted Sharia-compliant financing as promoting the law of the Prophet Mohammed and as an 'ethical product,' and a 'new way of life.' His ruling ignored AIG's use of a foreign Islamic advisory board to control investing in accordance with Islamic law."
Continued Thompson: "This astonishing decision allows the federal government as well as AIG and other Wall Street bankers to explicitly promote Sharia law ─ the 1200 year old body of Islamic canon law based on the Koran, which demands the destruction of Western Civilization and the United States.
Your hatred for islam and muslims is unparalleled. its NOT your business nor the AIPEC's business what other nations may choose as their leaders. the will of the people will triumph at last. more power to the people and more revolutions to come..freedom , liberty and justice for ALL.
Your hatred for islam and muslims is unparalleled. its NOT your business nor the AIPEC's business what other nations may choose as their leaders. the will of the people will triumph at last. more power to the people and more revolutions to come..freedom , liberty and justice for ALL.
Allah commands his votaries to fight, terrorize and kill (and he encourages them to do so suicidally with promises of an eternal carnal paradise) non-Muslims until all the earth worships and obeys only him. Over 60% of the Koran is devoted to Allah's and his follower's hatred of non-believers and his commands to fight, kill, subjugate or enslave them.
Allah values Muslim women as half the value of Muslim men in inheritance and court testimony; they are on par with a dog or mule when it comes to prayer. Allah commands apostates (former Muslims) be killed. Two apostates from Islam are on trial for their lives in Afghanistan for the crime. Non-Muslims have no value at all, they are despised as "the vilest of animals," "ape" and "pigs."
Blasphemers are to be killed. Salman Taseer, former governor of a Pakistan province was killed because he spoke in defense of a Christian woman who was accused of blasphemy and faces death herself. Over 500 Pakistan Islamic clerics lauded the assassin; he was showered with rose petals in court.
Differing Islamic sects see the other as apostates or heretics, Sunnis just eliminated 63 Shiite in Karbala last week. And it is estimated over 270 million non-Muslims have been butchered by Islamist jihadis over the centuries, but they didn't all go as easily as the Buddhists or Qurazya Jews, so we can assume a high number of Muslims died also.
Zakat is the required tithe for Muslims. According to sharia it is death not to pay the Zakat. That's extortion; besides being a death cult, Islam is also a protection racket. A Muslim was killed in Somalia just two weeks ago for not paying zakat.
My only hope is that these people stop praying to and obeying that death demanding God and live in peace. Now, will you tell me again, citizen, who hates Muslims, me or their God?
As to whose business it is who "other nations" choose as their leaders, the "will of the people" triumphed quite nicely in Italy and Germany last century. Oh, but that was none of our business. And should "the will of the (Islamist) people triumph" in Tunisia and Algeria, sharia law will be installed and you kiss "freedom, liberty and justice for ALL" goodbye.
" Imagine all the people....Living life in peace....You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one... I hope someday you'll join us, and the world WILL LIVE AS ONE"
John Lennon. It's time for the "revolution" Lennon was singing about.
Almost, not quit. 2020's, likely. And it will have to come at the heels of some very terrible misrepresentation of authority. Much more terrible than we've ever witnessed. People are going to have to die at the hands of the government which will be witnessed by everyone and the situation will be clear.
That's when the time will be right and the people will rise up and second war for American independence will happen.
Except this time, we'll be fighting our own government and it's operatives, which, unfortunately, will be some of our own people, just as in the Civil War.
Teach your kids well, or they'll end up on the wrong side, and die.
I will probably be in my 60's when the real "shooting war" breaks out in this country. Maybe too old to fight, I don't known. But one thing I do know is that, these younger people, then, are going to have to make it. And when it's all over they are going to need us. So, if you're still alive by the end of it, maybe the 2030's or so (who really knows?) then you are going to be an elder. So keep yourself in good shape. Don't get sick. Be well, mentally, physically, and emotionally. It may well be that you'll be called upon as an elder to help rebuild the culture that was America. In other words, "you're needed, now and in the future", so don't screw yourselves up on drugs, alcohol and other crap. When you're 70 years old and you're surrounded by 10 years olds who've known nothing but conflict and war all their lives but want a real life now that it's over, it'll be you they look to for the stories of the past. You will be needed to tell them what it was all about and why it all went down. Tell them about the good times of this country. If you grew up in the late 20th century as most of us did; they were the best times this place has ever known. So tell them about all of that. Inspire them, because they're really going to need it.
WOW, really? What rights are you deprived of? I'm a libertarian, and the ONLY thing I'm pissed about right now are taxes. My state is expanding weapons right to where they should be, so I have nothing to complain about there.
I like what Freddie Mercury and David Bowie wrote in 1981:
"It's the terror of knowing what this world is about, watching some good friends screaming "let me out!". Pray tomorrow, gets me higher, higher. Pressure on people, people on streets".
These people are feeling "Under Pressure". Power to the people on the streets.
Liz, Kent-- This article specifically spoke of the right to a peaceful assembly-- a right that is not only alive and well in the US, but is still a powerful tool of persuasion. Wtf do you think the Tea Party Rallies are? I don't know what box you've stuffed your head into, but you forgot to cut out the eye holes. Freedom of assembly is alive and well in America.
What rights is the government taking away from you, from all of us? And "without a wimper" yet - when that's all Americans seem to do now, whine, wimper, and whine some more. By "without a wimper" do you mean there hasn't been an armed insurrection [yet]?
Please stop encouraging people to nuture their persecution complex!
Let's hope our government is a little more careful this time. Our record for supporting protesters and installing new governments is miserable: Castro, Noriega, the Shah of Iran, the Taliban, etc.
We're on the verge of supporting a new Islamic state, let's hope Obama's ideals are on the side of democracy in this one.
Well, It's a "pick your evils" move for the former states. We were supporting anyone who opposed the USSR. Now we are fighting those people to install democracy. It's a painful process. The alternative was to fight a MASSIVE soviet state.
The US has never cared about the peoples freedom and well being in other countries. its all about interest at the expense of the local people. thats why they hate our gov. our actions will always come back to bite our ass.
lets hope this time around obama will support whatever and whoever the people choose as their leader in a free and democratic elections.
What an unsubstantiated, and therefore meaningless statement. The US historically has supported whomever we perceive to be in our own best interest - Republican or Democrat. Reading about the Shah of Iran might be a good place for you to start learning some history.
RHR - You completely missed my point. I was talking about OBAMA and his ilk. I was NOT referring to any specific Nation, I was referring to a mind set.
Speaking of sounding like an Elitist Snob...perhaps YOU should read YOUR post's last sentence.
The Golden Rule: "do unto others, as you'd have done to you!"

The closest thing that I can think of where Shariah Law was ever in the slightest, replicated in the USA was "southern justice". Days have past when lynch mobs, and Jim Crow laws commonly metered out justice with arbitrary, violent, and sadistic vengeance. Liberalism is at the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to retributive justice. It's so odd that the most violent and bloodthirsty segment of the USA is worried about Shariah Law.
its not about "sharia law". worring about a segment in our communities that represents 1% of the US population is BIGOTRY AND HATRED. THATS the real drive behind the so called "sharia law'. its not like we do not have the constitution.
in our town young people can't gather in the mall. They have to keep moving and leave the place after 8:pm. The local government sees what Washington is doing, giving the green light to take away as much of personal freedom as they can! This is how it started in Eastern Europe.
Come on, Tunisia, get it together! Where are those air & hotel specials? Summer's coming FAST, get it in gear! This is a crack in the door, for a true Muslim Democracy. Don't !@#$ it up!
People in Tunisia, and hopefully, other countries in N Africa, want fundamental basic needs--work without paying a brib, anti-corruption in government; representation, live a life with dignity and respect. The Tunisian event was supported in all regions of the country, all stratas of life; not an Islamist event. And it appears to be internal, influenced by some of the Wikileak documents from American officials. At this point, I think it is a thrilling and wonderful thing to witness--an event that is not corporatist, as we have seen over the last 40 years in other impoverished, autocratic coutries.
It would appear the Arab masses are tiring of their leashes.
Yawn--focus on our own mess
They will just get someone else to put a new one on. The biggest leash they have yet to shrug off is Islam and Islam is the problem. Check a map of the most under developed countries on earth and compare it to a map of the most muslim nations on earth. It's shockingly similar.

soon to happen in US
WAIT, it gets better.
That's right...when the time comes, we're gonna terrorize...
