before the wannabe CSI agents apprear, i'd like to say this is a sad event. 2 familes in less than a month, and right before the holidays. my condolances to the family, and the 2 fathers.
i am in hopes before someone starts spewing how it was one of the kid's fathers, they take a moment to think about the bs people were blaming the ex, and it turned out to be? (the Ohio slaying i am referring to). its bad enough a wonam and 3 children are dead, try not to point the fingers. i am sure everyone but the perp feels bad enough, and more would like support, rather a finger pointing session. ty
I swear I couldn't say it any better myself. People point fingers when they don't know all the details, saying "It's always the ex." They don't think before they sling their words. These people are already hurting enough. I hope the real culprit pays dearly for this. I hate seeing these crimes, and they're happening in rapid succession.
who said the kids were not fed or being educated. I am guessing the 6 year olds were in first grade. Just getting started.
Nobody knows yet the circumstances why the mother was a stay at home mom. Looks to be a pretty nice home. Maybe she did not need to work. Maybe there were very supportive fathers.
Agreed, scottknows. The house is a very nice one. There's no mention in any article I've seen anywhere (not just MSNBC) about her being on welfare or even being in any kind of financial distress.
It's pretty sad that people see an article about a single mother and her kids being killed and the first thing they think is "Well, she must've been poor and irresponsible". Instead of judging someone based on facts not in evidence, connie, try a little empathy for the victims who were murdered violently in their home.
It's repulsive to know that there are people on this planet that can kill small children so ruthlessly. I hope they catch the person responsible and throw the proverbial book at them.
This is just so sad, yet again another family is taken from their loved ones. The house is very nice so she could have had a successful home business. Police are not elaborating so we cant jump to conclusions. We need the facts then make the opinions. So what if she was a stay at home mom, she was taking care of her kids and her kids played with the other kids in the same neighborhood. This is a tragedy all the way around, Thoughts and prayers go out to this family. Life changed forever.
So true, crufflergal. We do need to have more facts as you and Megalodon have both mentioned before making assumptions and forming opinions. Right now, there has been very little information released. Who knows why this happened but I hope the monster is apprehended before they harm anyone else. The cruelty of someone who would brutally murder children is beyond my comprehension. My Prayers and condolences to the family.
Tried to find out more this morning, but accidentally stumbled on another recent family tragedy, this one a homicide-suicide - the dad was the shooter this time - wife & 2 kids dead.. toddler wounded... Erie, Pennsylvania? ah, just what we need: a daily menu choice of family massacres.
The traditional family-- mom & dad & their kids -- fell to a minority about 2007 (48-49%) - still think all this family unhappiness isn't starting to take its toll? plenty of blame to go around.
This is indeed a tragedy, especially at this time of year. Who cares whether or not the woman was on welfare, working, single, kids had different fathers, etc.? This is NOT the issue. Innocent children were killed here along with their mother. I hope that they find these heartless b******s and throw them UNDER the jail, only after Big Bubba and his henchmen deal with them, "Short Eyes" style. Such a tragedy. God bless their grieving family.

Hear, hear.
My heart goes out to all concerned. I'm tired - don't feel like jumping to any conclusions this morning.
Well said Melglodon
@ Megalodon:

I agree with womenonguard.

Me too THX! There's just too much of this going on. My heart goes out to all the families involved, as this is heartbreaking!
Poor babies and their poor mama. You should be safe in your own home.

Don't you people know there is a football game on??
You are in no way funny. Show some respect.
God forbid you ever experience such a tragedy like this, lady. You need a good wake-up call because your statement was in no way funny or called for.
Just out of curiosity, Amanda...why weren't you watching the game???

Man, 2 families in a month. Right before the holidays. I give pitty to all the familys that have lost people. Happy Holidays. :(
It saddens me that 3 small children were violently murdered, and you are concerned with her means of taking care of them.
