It's no surprise that it was the JAPANESE who came up with this great breakthrough. This country was ruined and will be on the decline to third world status because of stupid Americans who have voted for Republicans. The decline in the United States began when that now (gladly) zombie Raygun won in 1980.
LOL you make me laugh with all your silly talk. I wonder if you could ever comment in a non bias way about something? This report isn't about one political party or another, yet you find a way bash republicans. This same type of talking is called prejudice/racism when talking about a group of people. Got anymore hate speech?
Back on topic, like all the past super bugs we have seen, hopefully this one will go away due to vigilance and a little bit of luck. Thank goodness for science always pushing into new areas to develop new treatments for the deadly things in our world.
This dilema was inevitable. All bacterias adapt, mutate and evolve like any other organism. We just have the opportunity to witness this at a faster rate than most. Hopefully we can also adapt and create non-resistant drugs at the same pace. Had we been afforded the federal funding under the Bush disaster ( oops I mean administration)...and not lost all that valuable time...maybe we woould be ahead of the bugs!!!!
Just like GayBoysVoteBlue, you make me laugh with your instant blaming of Bush or the Republicans on something they would have no control over. If you read the article you would know it started in India. Last I recall, Bush was never the president of that country. In a few years if another bug comes out of some country like India will you blame Obama? I highly doubt it. You will either blame Bush again, or just say what are we supposed to do to stop a bug from being created in another country? But at least if you said we couldn't prevent them from doing just that, you would be speaking the truth that time.
I never mentioned anything about Republicans so calm your hillbilly ass down and put your gun away! FACT still remains....the U.S. has lost so much time in the fields of medical and scientific research due to federal funding taken away by BUSH....period!
Doesn't matter where any superbug comes from, it will arrive here. International travel makes sure of that. My point being, as mutations and the evolution of microorganisms occur we will continue to have drug resistant germs emerging at a faster rate than we can counter act. Science needs to be sped up for humanity sake.
Superbugs. I wonder if we are seeing the true face of the Apocalypse?..
So, what they're saying is don't travel to India or Pakistan?

Congratulations. You are the only person to respond with anything relevant to the article.
