Out of control fires in Russia, flooding in Europe and the middle east, record heat waves around the world. Every year this seems to be getting a little worse. Gobal warming anyone? :)

Last winter the Northern hemisphere was experiencing the coldest temps and record snow falls in recorded history. Now there are record cold temps in South America.
The Antarctic temps have been FALLING and the ice levels are at record HIGHS. And the Greenland ice levels are INCREASING...
Even Phil Jones has stated that during the past 15 years there has been NO ‘statistically significant’ warming. And data is suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon. The bible is pretty clear about man not knowing the day or the hour. However, it does give us some pretty big hints at what we would observe as it grows near. Funny you ask, the evidence in that 2,000 year old book matches current events exactly. I'd rather believe in His word and be wrong than ignore it and be asked by him to explain my disobedience later.
This has nothing to do with bible prophesy and everything to do with man made eco-system induced changes. As I stated before, in a much longer post, it seems so much wiser to error on the side of caution than its converse, relative to carbon emissions, pollution from all sources and to utilize all the rational methods proposed by the majority of scientists engaged in the day to day study of the earths climate to deal with climate change. I am talking of working climatologists gathering data on a daily basis not some hypothecator; The biggest doubters are petroleum geologists (47 percent) and meteorologists about 60%. I will take the findings of the climatologists over the others, others spouting statements debunking the results of scientists immersed in the study of climate change and mankind’s contribution to said change.

10,000 years ago there was over a mile of ice over the ground in most of Northern North America. So, yes there has been global warming. How you folks combine flooding and a heat wave and Indian knowledge and come up with proof of anything is beyond me. Remember last winter. It was wet and cold. The global warming folks said that was weather not climate. Now that they think current weather suits their theory it becomes CLIMATE CHANGE. They do have a point about CO2 emissions. Why not cut back our emissions and see if we don't all get some benefit from the reductions and cleaner air? We can't use the air, earth and waters for a dump forever.
And 10,000 years before that, that same ice sheet wasn't there. The Earth is forever changing and climate change is real. Can humans accelerate the process? Yes. Can they prevent it? No. Slow it down? Maybe. If that sheet of ice was normal, than we wouldn't have called that period an ice age, now would we?

The prices of food will go up higher than yesterday's prices due to unpreventable weather conditions... jobs will become more and more scarce as our economic systems gasp for reason and logic despite what WE want... the hurricane season will bring amazingly powerful storms to the shores that will be unable to defend itself... wildfires will leave the lands dry and parched gasping for new life... as towns and our buildings lie in rubble... the list is large as is the job Nature must do in order to save itself from complete collapse.
Only those calm enough and compassionate enough will survive the year without resorting to powerful drugs and copious amounts of booze to calm the ravaged souls who look to their gods for answers that they themselves would be unable to understand.

Well, whether you believe in global warming or not, you have to believe is the physical proof. When you dump out your trash daily, where does it go? Do you know or do you care? Is it bio-degradable (remember, trash today is different from garbage 100, 1000, and 10,000 years ago).

Yes, the Earth is getting warmer and no, I do not think will all the efforts we have in place today, we are honestly in time to do anything about it. I grew up in North Carolina and I cannot recall any summers there as a kid to young adult for over 30 years of record days of 100+ degrees, consistently for two weeks. If you look at the ICE CORE studies and their time lines of the temperature falling/rising and the ice levels accumulation. The ice ages took a average of fifty thousand years to peak.
