I've seen the word "kharma" posted a few times. My grandfather was a barber of a small town for over 50 years. He paid cash for everything and never wrote a check or borrowed on credit. Government does not have an endless supply of money. Well they do, it is called the mint. However, artificially inflating the money supply will just constitute higher prices for everything. Opps! back to square one, where does the money come from?

This means less spending. The logical alternative is to ration the healthcare when the demand goes up because more people have insurance. The economy is getting better? Really? Where do you live? The unemployment is still at 10% and sales are still in the negative for the quarter. There is bound to be another recession (which is two consecutive quarters of negative growth in the GDP). Even Obama is not stating the economy is growing anymore, and is asking for another stimulus. in fact Obama never said the economy is growing (per se), just that the damage would have been greater without the stimulus.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving fella. Now, imagine going partially blind, and not having decent health care. Or getting "laid-off" from your job, because you're "too blind", and losing insurance-based access entirely, with no one else now willing to insure you. Beck won't have such a problem, because he's wealthy and can easily pay cash, and can still "speak" for a living anyway. What if you're a construction worker? Or a bus driver? Always worked hard, saved up perhaps $100's of thousands, which will now be spent inside of three years. What should we, as a nation and society, do about that? Kick those guys right to the curb? They should have planned ahead, worked harder, or gotten a better education, or just saved up even MORE cash, that they didn't have?

You state John Holdren did not propose Sterilization and posted a blog. You should do better in fact finding. The 1977 book that was written by Holdren, titled Ecosience, did just that. While he states that it woul not be accepted, he set up the arguement ultiple times of why it would be needed.

Glenn may have not been lying on the natural birthright provision. Like you, he might have mispoken based on the information that was presented to him at the time. I have found some inaccurcies with stuff Beck has said, but to out right state he was lying is to assume he knew that the statement was not factual.

I am sure that he has a team of people that help him in fact finding. He probably has trust in thee individuals. These researchers might jump at juicy details (especially where George Soros is mentioned by Beck). However, the researcher may have not fully told Beck of the full context and edited the information prior to Glenn releasing.

Glenn should do better in researching the information given to him, but I doubt he has the time to do this. The amount of tme he has to prepare for his radio show, tv show, research all this data, read all these books, and spend time with his family is completely impossible for anyone save speed readers that are insominacs with a 36 hour day.

To state he is a liar is to be a liar oneself, as the statement is made without direct knowledge as to whether the information was factual. In contrast, thousands and thousands of Americans travel to Mexico, Thailand, and other countries for their care because it is so much cheaper. My dad was in the Korean War. He was in the Navy. My dad got hurt in the Navy and got peanuts for money. My mother never work a day in her life. When my father died, my mother got that check from the goverment. When she turned 63. she filed for widows pay from my dad's social security. Well, are goverment took away the money my dad got for fighting in the Korean war. They told her she could only get only one not both. You talk about how much money you get compare to what Glenn make's! I belive Glenn Beck work his way up to where he is today. And you know what Jack! I belive that our goverment screw you. Personally I have recently had to sell my business and go on private disability and ss disability in order to qualify for medicaire because my insurer will not pay for procrit injections called for by a hematologist, nephrologist and endocronologist which medicaire will provide. Also my wife has been fully vested for eight years and would have liked to change her employer but my pre-existing immune system disorder would have made me ineligible to be insured. We are both 55 and have worked as professionals since college. I have owned a small business since 1985 generating around $750,000 per year in revenue and employing 4 full time employees plus subs. We are not some featherbedding layabouts we are your suburban neighbors.

Jack-616657, Semper Fi, and welcome home, I too am an old Corp. Vietnam vet that has been blessed to serve as a smoke eater for more than 30 years. However, the city decided that anyone that did not retire prior to, May 2008, would loose medical benefits upon retirement. My youngest child was still in graduate school and I am still working. If the Lord wills, (I think He will) I will retire next year. It is my intention to use VA medical benefits and any other government programs as much as is possible and as often, as is necessary. I will do it with gratitude and dignity.

The federal reserve was enacted under wilson if I remember correctly, but taxation on the US citizenry has existed since the constitution was enacted, as "taking donations" didn't work, and although people resisted taxes even then (resulting in the Whiskey Rebellion). In October 2001 Limbaugh himself said on his radio program that his hearing loss was not genetic, and that something else was "going on", but that he was keeping it to himself. Those were HIS words. Hearing loss specialists, some at the clinic where Limbaugh sought treatment, have stated cases where excessive use of these painkillers can lead to permanent hearing loss.

What's the big story...G Beck may, someday, go blind. Millions of Americans will go blind before he will. He is just using this story as a hook to smash health care reform. When President Eisenhower was leaving office, he told us "Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Yes, that is a long quote, but it is more important to remember he tried to teach us this in, 1961. As citizens’, we are fooled into believing that huge defense budgets equate into a well-equipped military. More importantly, Eisenhower did not create this phrase (military-industrial complex). It was a phrase used by scholars in the 1930s to describe fascism. Current events demonstrate that our military is professional and remains constitutionally correct.

Therefore, our problem is with the private sector. As others have written, corporations are bound by no oath. After 9/11, too many citizens’ stuck their head in the sand and gave the government carte blanche. This behavior was encouraged by the mass media and government and any questioners were labeled unpatriotic. As people pulled their heads from the sand and rinsed their eyes, they saw our nation changed for the worse and formed associations demanding change – missing the obvious that they voluntarily surrendered their liberties.

My humble point is as citizens, we need to stop running around yelling, “the sky is falling.” Our problem is not presidential; it is we being poor citizens. We are allowing corporations to govern. We just had a clown apologize to BP. Obviously some believe that the needs of the private sector supersede the needs of “We the people.” I am not asserting business is evil only that we should not allow business to govern and know the blame, fault is ours, and we must as a result take responsibility.
