It isn't funny that he died. The circumstances of the death are bizzare. But he brought it on himself.
I don't know why crimnals aren't very smart, to be a crimnal they must be smart or get out of the class of taking up crimnal lesson, cause it an't working for them, they always, get caught, "Dead or Alive." They never pass their test...if I were a crimnal, and it wasn't working, I'd have to change my employment profession in life, and do something from getting caught, or just give it up altogether, and just work the min wage.

The fact that he was a Mexican in the border town of El Paso, Tx (illegal alien anyone) in jail on drug trafficing charges should make you angry with out goverment for not enforcing the US immigration policies and not policing adequately the ENTIRE border area....

In Mexico, you are guilty until proven innocent - so the presumption is appropriate... but forget his nationality for a minute. This applies to anyone profiting from others' addictions and misery... we simply don't need these people. The quicker they are disposed of, the better. They are expensive as hell to 'maintain' - and virtually always continue doing what they did once released. What is the value of a human life? Obviously, you haven't been paying attention to what's going on in this country. It is almost impossible to execute someone anymore in the US. Only Florida, Texas and, I believe, Tennessee get the process over with in a reasonable amount of time, most of the time (under 1 year). These people don't belong on earth because of all the lives they ruin.
I agree... most drug offenders are repeat offenders.. Hense the need for the 3 strike rule... Not that any really truely get the maximum but it's better then what was...
As for the death penalty.... No matter what state has it... the process is agonizingly long... 15 years is NOT uncommon for a death penalty case to make it's way through the appeals process.

He sentenced himself by trying to escape in such an ill-conceived manner. He turned himself into trash by climbing into the dumpster regardless of the fact that he was crushed. And he did take himself out.

I'm not ignorant... by any means... so quit the slurs ok.... I know because one goes another finds it's place... Personally I feel that drug dealers should face harsher charges... I'm for charging them with Attempted first degree murder, assualt as well as current drug charges.... Bail shouldn't be an option for a drug dealer no matter what the severity of the charge... even misdemeanor charges should carry heavy jail time and monetary fines...
Bartenders can be charged with accessory crimes should someone from their bar get drunk and cause injury and damages while driving..... It shold be no different for drug dealers, from the top down to the little guy....
I must say that in light of current events as they relate to all the drug activity along the Mexican border there is a bit of irony and poetic justice in this. So as they say, "trash in and trash out." The sad part about all of this sorted business is that the compacting process was not captured on video because this would have made for a great YouTube watch worthy of many hits. This would have been better than "Jose Jimenez goes into space" or in this case the trash compactor. I must say that I can't get the image out of my mind of the cops pulling this guy out of the landfill like a dead cat by the tail. On a more serious note, I suspect that his newly formed self will help keep the shipping cost down come time to repatriate him back to the Old Country where he can lay in state like a newly pressed ham for all his compadres to see. well, just the same, Vaya con Dios my fine Mexican friend even if it is in a compacted form.

Sure we thought about the possibility that he was murdered, the only problem is that he murdered himself! I just wish that more of these fine folk up in the joint would follow his lead so as to cut down on how much it cost us each year as tax payers to support these clowns.
