Yeah, good point retired40. The taxpayer will most likely get stuck with the bill for disposing of his sorry ass too. Too bad they couldnt just leave him in the landfill. Would have been the appropriate place there with the rest of the trash.
Well Sheriff Wiles, maybe the reason why other inmates never tried it before was because, (and this is a stretch), maybe they didn't want to get crushed to death!
in reply to 'ConcernedCitizen1'. Shame on u. 1st off as usual he was 'guilty' until proven innocent by ur comment. FYI he ws being HELD on drug charges and u have already convicted him!!! 2nd u 'sentenced' him 2 death by stating, and i quote "the trash has been taken out" thinking that his death justified just by his charges alone.. how callous can u b??? he was still a human being that was crushed 2 death. this country holds humanity in such low regard. granted there are some very dangerous prisoners in this country that NEED TO B LOCKED UP however do we need 2 b so flip on the death of someone in a holding unit that hasn't even been convicted of a crime??? geez....grrrr....or i'm sorry was it bcuz he was mexican???? ConcernedCitizen1--HA that's a joke!!!creep!!!!!
I don't know why crimnals aren't very smart, to be a crimnal they must be smart or get out of the class of taking up crimnal lesson, cause it an't working for them, they always, get caught, "Dead or Alive." They never pass their test...if I were a crimnal, and it wasn't working, I'd have to change my employment profession in life, and do something from getting caught, or just give it up altogether, and just work the min wage.
Hey Nancy, he died from breaking the law! He tried to escape from custody so he got what he deserved! If he was innocent what was he running from?? ATTENTION: If you're innocent you have nothing to hide! This goes for other topics too! Just look at Arizona. The state is emptying out for some strange reason? Why is everyone running to California? LOL
It was funny and Concerned Citizen is right.... One more drug dealing a$$hole we don't have to worry about. The fact that he was a Mexican in the border town of El Paso, Tx (illegal alien anyone) in jail on drug trafficing charges should make you angry with out goverment for not enforcing the US immigration policies and not policing adequately the ENTIRE border area....
Guilty until proven innocent ONLY applies to US citizens as far as I'm concerned.
In Mexico, you are guilty until proven innocent - so the presumption is appropriate... but forget his nationality for a minute. This applies to anyone profiting from others' addictions and misery... we simply don't need these people. The quicker they are disposed of, the better. They are expensive as hell to 'maintain' - and virtually always continue doing what they did once released. What is the value of a human life? Obviously, you haven't been paying attention to what's going on in this country. It is almost impossible to execute someone anymore in the US. Only Florida, Texas and, I believe, Tennessee get the process over with in a reasonable amount of time, most of the time (under 1 year). These people don't belong on earth because of all the lives they ruin.
I agree... most drug offenders are repeat offenders.. Hense the need for the 3 strike rule... Not that any really truely get the maximum but it's better then what was...
As for the death penalty.... No matter what state has it... the process is agonizingly long... 15 years is NOT uncommon for a death penalty case to make it's way through the appeals process.
I know most of you are trying to have fun, and I'm okay with that. But if you were Mexican and were reading this, it wouldn't be very funny, would it? Whose to say they won't say we're AMERICANT.
The only people here that really set me off are the ones who think he deserved to die:
(1. Because he's Mexican.
(2. Because he was a criminal (note, he wasn't even convicted yet, and his said 'crime' was drug related, he was no child killer or any of the sort).
u 'sentenced' him 2 death by stating, and i quote "the trash has been taken out"
He sentenced himself by trying to escape in such an ill-conceived manner. He turned himself into trash by climbing into the dumpster regardless of the fact that he was crushed. And he did take himself out.
Hmmm, Unfortunately, the other inmates in the prison can read these articles, otherwise, this would be a great way to cut down on overcrowding in the prison, and save the taxpayers money at the same time.
Does anyone remember the old B&W "Jack the Ripper" movie where he gets trapped in the elevator shaft at the end as they're bringing his last victim down to the morgue?
oh please, like rats, he was escaping, and was stupid to think he could get out in a trash truck. He obviously was not aware the trucks compact the trash as they collect. adios drug azz
hmmm a Mexican drug dealer murdered??? Not surprising, but sorry in this case end justifies the means.... One less drug dealer haunting the streets of El Paso and it's children.
I'm not ignorant... by any means... so quit the slurs ok.... I know because one goes another finds it's place... Personally I feel that drug dealers should face harsher charges... I'm for charging them with Attempted first degree murder, assualt as well as current drug charges.... Bail shouldn't be an option for a drug dealer no matter what the severity of the charge... even misdemeanor charges should carry heavy jail time and monetary fines...
Bartenders can be charged with accessory crimes should someone from their bar get drunk and cause injury and damages while driving..... It shold be no different for drug dealers, from the top down to the little guy....
I must say that in light of current events as they relate to all the drug activity along the Mexican border there is a bit of irony and poetic justice in this. So as they say, "trash in and trash out." The sad part about all of this sorted business is that the compacting process was not captured on video because this would have made for a great YouTube watch worthy of many hits. This would have been better than "Jose Jimenez goes into space" or in this case the trash compactor. I must say that I can't get the image out of my mind of the cops pulling this guy out of the landfill like a dead cat by the tail. On a more serious note, I suspect that his newly formed self will help keep the shipping cost down come time to repatriate him back to the Old Country where he can lay in state like a newly pressed ham for all his compadres to see. well, just the same, Vaya con Dios my fine Mexican friend even if it is in a compacted form.
I am impressed that the Consoldated Trash Services Union has joined the rest of the States in doing their part to catch and return Illegals back to their country, crushed or otherwise.
ahhh, poor garbage man, he will have nightmares because of the idiot hiding in his truck, go crushed. What a dumb azz, one less criminal in our overloaded system. No loss, no rip....
I would like to think that Carlos jumped into the dumpster thinking that he was gonna escape. Was the dumpster hauled off somewhere and then the contents, including Carlos, emptied and crushed? Seems like he might've had a half-way decent plan. I'd like more details on how he got crushed...maybe he fell asleep.
Standard procedure should be to fire up the dumpster truck hydrolics before leaving the prison gate. Does Texas get a deposit back for their crushed mexiCAN??
D- for some effort but failure to think it all the way through................
Sure we thought about the possibility that he was murdered, the only problem is that he murdered himself! I just wish that more of these fine folk up in the joint would follow his lead so as to cut down on how much it cost us each year as tax payers to support these clowns. But they should make sure to use their cell phone to video their experience.
Well, I guess you can say the trash has been taken out...
Now let that be a lesson... too much Television can distort your view of reality.
One down. Twelve Million to go!
you so crazy
you so crazy,
i'd say...I'd say.
Now that's funny
SPOT ON ConcernedCitizen1 ! I think a Darwin Award is also deserved for this poor unfortunate, (yes hint of sarcasm) individual
Is he recycleable?
LOL!!!
Yeah, that kinda gives "throwing yer life away" a whole new meaning, don't it? LOL
well, at least he had a proper burial.. that is until the authorities went to the dump and dug him up.
you guys are racist pricks. not all mexicans are drug dealers.
No... but this one was... and got what he deserved.
As long as you're next to go!
sure you unimaginative ass. cept didn't know "lana" was guys name.
chino wingnut:
Hilarious!!
*falls down laughing*
of course you would oldschool, because again you're an unimaginative ass. and no i'm not a guy. stop typing now. you're an idiot.
I thought she was kinda hard on your little feelers too, old school. Don't take it to hard!
then you truly have a sad life if this is the highlight, oldschool.
it's giving you something to do isn't it?
puts on sunglasses...
YEAAAAAAAAAH!
I would think that this is worthy of a Darwin award.
Give him a break, he was under a lot of "pressure"....
Darwin award for sure..
Didn't enough of him already break from the pressure?
Now haul his dead as# back to mexico and dump him.
what somefolks want do to get out, never knowing the outcome of their demise
Yeah, good point retired40. The taxpayer will most likely get stuck with the bill for disposing of his sorry ass too. Too bad they couldnt just leave him in the landfill. Would have been the appropriate place there with the rest of the trash.

My first thought???? Well DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People are really getting dumber these days.
i wonder why, is it because of sin?
Don't take Preparation H orally?
Yes it seems they breed like rabbits. Dumb DNA + Dumb DNA = Dumber DNA :-)
go jump off a cliff denny.
That is a Classic comment.. I'm still laughing...

And you, Nancy, should have paid attention in school and you could spell properly. BTW - (since you are texting here) Stay out of the Trash Bins.
It isn't funny that he died. The circumstances of the death are bizzare. But he brought it on himself.
I don't know why crimnals aren't very smart, to be a crimnal they must be smart or get out of the class of taking up crimnal lesson, cause it an't working for them, they always, get caught, "Dead or Alive." You're right. I'm absolutely crushed.
no it isn't funny he got crushed...it was just plain out-right stupid that he wanted to be crushed, did he ever think, that that was a stupid idea?
Hey Nancy, he died from breaking the law! He tried to escape from custody so he got what he deserved! If he was innocent what was he running from?? I don't know why people are being so racial. He's automatically dumb because he's Mexican? How low can you people get?
He died.
And you are laughing about it.
Humans these days...
I know most of you are trying to have fun, and I'm okay with that. But if you were Mexican and were reading this, it wouldn't be very funny, would it? Whose to say they won't say we're AMERICANT.

Get real Jennifer !
He was a federal inmate, he was convicted, federally! You don't think the drug cartels have anything to do with kidnapping? Really?
He sentenced himself by trying to escape in such an ill-conceived manner. He turned himself into trash by climbing into the dumpster regardless of the fact that he was crushed. And he did take himself out.
Drugs have never killed a child?
Hmmm, Unfortunately, the other inmates in the prison can read these articles, otherwise, this would be a great way to cut down on overcrowding in the prison, and save the taxpayers money at the same time.
win-win :+)
"Harry, do you hear anything in this trash can?"
"Nope..."
Well no one said these drug smugglers were the brightest bulbs in the box!!! Sheesh!!!!
Carlos Roberto Medina-Bailon was apparently an idiot.
My condolences to his family.
Does anyone remember the old B&W "Jack the Ripper" movie where he gets trapped in the elevator shaft at the end as they're bringing his last victim down to the morgue?
You guys are just crushing me with your humor....
I'm sure he was chuckling too.
Well they said put the "dope" in the garbage truck.
too funny...I wonder what's he thinking now?
He's thinking trashy thoughts lindabew...
Garbage in, garbage out.
take it too the bend...
Hasn't anyone thought that he MAY have been murdered and THEN placed in the garbage?
oh please, like rats, he was escaping, and was stupid to think he could get out in a trash truck. He obviously was not aware the trucks compact the trash as they collect. adios drug azz

I've never seen a garbage truck in Mexico. I wonder if he even knew that they have hydraulics? Oh well, guess we will never know............
Damn, now that effers are infiltrating our dumps.
I personally think we need to squash this blog....
Standard procedure should be to fire up the dumpster truck hydrolics before leaving the prison gate. Does Texas get a deposit back for their crushed mexiCAN??

Hi 3rdviewfromleft,
