I predicted 10 years ago that one day tattoos would become mainstream and we'd eventually have a head of state with them and/or body piercings. We're getting close. When I was growing up only hoods had them and those who did were definately NOT date worthy! How times and tastes do change. I now look at them as works of art......
Art ??.. more like masochism and an easy way to self incriminate yourself..beauty's only skin deep, however enjoy your Art..because at an older age, it becomes abstract ART !!.lmao
Tattoos have been around for thousands of years, even before those brave seamen an soldiers started wearing them. Indigenous peoples, especially in the South Pacific and the Southeast Asian Island nations have had them as well as some Northern European tribes. It wasn't until the Christian religion came and virtually destroyed those cultures that tattoos became something considered "wrong," "evil," and forbidden. The same with body piercing.
"When I was growing up only hoods had them and those who did were definately NOT date worthy!"
Wow. Thanks a lot. You & I are most likely somewhat close to the same age & I've had tats ever since I was 17. But I always thought I was a pretty decent guy. :) :)
Seriously though, I sorta have mixed feelings about the "fashion statement" that the tattoo has become. I'm glad that I no longer feel it necessary to wear long sleeves to any type of formal event. But I also rather liked the "exclusivity" that my tats gave me .... sorta of a bad-boy/rebel type image.
No longer .... now I'm just a normal part of the crowd. :( :(
P.S. But you can sill thank people like us for being the originals, who brought body art to popularity.
Not sure who is the bigger joke, M. Obama or the house breaker. :( What a sad world we have grown accustomed to.
Desensitized to adultery, abandonment, now tattoos. I have never liked them and will never get one. There is no such thing as a nice/pretty tattoo. At least in my opinion, which I am entitled to, just like everyone else. You can get them till the cows come home, but I choose to keep my skin "clean", thank you.
We have reached the point that most people getting tattoos today are desperately trying to fit in and be noticed. It really is a bit sad. Hopefully we can raise our children to be confident young adults that do not need to do as others do.
The Next Micheele Obama? Yeah, right. What a joke.
No kidding. I disagree with the majority of Obama's policies, but at least he and his wife are respectable (classy too if you're talking about her). Two people who cheat on others are NOT. I mean at least Clinton had the decency to try and hide his affairs. These two flaunt the fact they can't keep their pants on when they're supposed to.
I guess things could/can get worse than our last few presidents.
Cool .... you just insulted 50% of the human race & claimed that you are somehow better than they are by having "clean" skin. Tattoos have nothing to do with dirty skin .... that's on the outside. We use soap too, just as you do (I HOPE!!).
If we tatted people felt so inclined, I'm sure we could come up with dozens of ways in which you aren't quite so beautiful as you think you are. But we are generally a very decent group of people, so I'm not even going to waste my time.
Why is this even newsworthy? She has a tattoo? So what? So do I. So do millions of other people. It just isn't that big of a deal anymore. No one really cares. Next, I suppose there will be an article because she colors her hair or wears make-up. Strange.
I have to laugh at people who say "Why is this even newsworthy? and "No one really cares?" when the article caught their attention sufficiently that they had to post about it.
Clearly YOU mate dude, at least to some extent, otherwise why did you bother to comment on the article? LOL!
I think it is pretty noteworthy. Tattoos are pretty trashy and I guess it says something about our modern culture that there are even wives of heads of state have them now.
"Why is this even newsworthy? She has a tattoo? So what? So do I. So do millions of other people. It just isn't that big of a deal anymore. No one really cares. Next, I suppose there will be an article because she colors her hair or wears make-up. Strange."
I have to disagree. I really don't think that ALL tattoos are ugly nor do belive that those who have them are all trashy. Blanket statements such as that are better left to the mouth-breathing- knuckle-dragging, biggots. Unless you know them, it's baltantly wrong to judge them. And having a picture on your body, that you find appealing doesn't make you trashy.
And while beauty is in the 'eye of the beholder', and tattoos are becoming more mainstream for the general population. Tattoos are still rare among people in the political world, especially among women.
I do think that some people go entirely too far with them. But that too is one of those "eye of the beholder' issues.. I dont think we should see the ink and decide what kind of 'person' they are...anymore than we should see their hair color or skin color and make assumptions.
TO Jadedune1:
Did i miss the joke? How is Ms Obama a joke? As far as I've seen she hasn't done anything offensive has she? She seems to carry herself with dignity and charm, she treats others with respect and is trying to improve the health of American Children. How is that funny?
And as far as all of the poeple who have said so many rude things about this new First Lady being a "homewrecker". We don't know the whole story. We see only the most outer wrappings of the situation. The husband may indeed be a no-good, low life, skirt chasing, sleeze... but we don't know that. And they can't blame the new wife or the old one. No of us really knows what went on behind closed doors.
i think some tattoos are trashy, i watch la ink and a lot of the tattoos done in that shop look classy but then look at kat von d herself and her tattoos are terrible and she looks trashy, then i know my husband and sister have tattoos and several of my friends have them and they all look good but then look at that girl jesse james was sleeping with, her tattoos her horrible, really depends what you get and where you get them. i 'personally' think your tattoo should mean something, i dont really get the random 'im gonna get a rose cause its pretty' that a lot of girls i know got when they were young but thats just me personally.
I consider the term "main-stream" media a complement. They represent the main stream of society. Unlike Faux News or is that Fixed News, I can't remember.
Yeah, fixed news since their ratings are clearly double (at least) all the other news stations. Fox News, I must say, is the only ONLY only news station reporting the truth. And let me tell you that the comment was not meant as a compliment.
Your opinion, albeit wrong. Fox clearly has undisputed evidence. And btw, what do you call that far left liberal dribble you call news? I assume that is not just followers repeating the same crap over and over?
Hey - Be NICE, I've got a Tattoo of Popeye on my forearm and little kids and adults all over the world have said it's great. Good for foreign relations and diplomacy.
Wow some really closed minded people on here regarding tattoos on women. What a shame that you classify a person's looks (pretty/ugly) on if they have a tattoo.
If you are blind, you can't tell if a person has tattoo's or not nor the color of their eyes, or skin for that fact. So until you do something about your closed minded ideas, go check out Susan Boyle, she has no tattoo's and I hear she's single!
Depending on where and what the tattoo is will determine whether or not it will stretch with "flabby granny arms" and lose its beauty. Not all do. I have 3 all of which are intricate designs that I have place strategically so that they won't lose any of their beauty when nature takes her course. The only way to misshape them is to cut, burn, or laser them off.
I pose this question: If we aren't suppose to judge a book by its cover, then why do we judge when the book is illustrated?
Sadie - I imagine a lot has to do with the era you grew up in. Guys used to get tatooed to make themselves feel more macho. So, I see a tatto on a woman and....
My cousin got a butterfly tattoo on her "lower hip" when she was 15. This was back in 1969! Just before Easter dinner - right in our grandparent's living room - she lowers the top of her bell bottoms to let all the relatives peek the cheek. I thought grandma was gonna swat that butterfly right off her!
@ Your name here - they definitely can be, however tattoos (like mine) that are actually thought out and mean something to the one getting them can be quite tasteful.
Since when does abandoning your wife of 18 years classify you as a "dream son-in-law"? So what if she's a looker - so are most hookers. I don't see anything but a trophy wife here and a media who's eating up the eye candy without bothering to see if there's anything solid or worthwhile inside. Seems like someone needs to watch "First Wives' Club"!
You ain't spent much time with hookers lady. A few are quite pretty, but mostly middling to fair is doing very, very well. The average hooker is really not very attractive. Her ahem, "virtue" is that she's available and the client is plastered or high usually. As you may already know, for most men with a drink in them, it doesn't take much. Legs help. You would be amazed at who can be successful as a hooker. Really.
That is why so many Western men go to Thailand. There are oodles of pretty girls there happy to do some hooking on the side to support their families. But mostly, gleah. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Get me out of heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere! That's about what most guys feel when they sober up.
John is right - I never seen a street walker that would qualify as "attractive". The job is a about what she DOES, not what she looks like. Here's another shocker - most people who give massages at fancy resorts don't look like Norwegian gods, either.
Americans are such prudes. Europeans expect that couples married a long time will either split or have affairs. It's the way we humans are wired. Europeans don't fight it so much. Americans fight it. Neither Europeans nor Americans are successful in their fight.
Germany? Really? Do you ever watch the politicians right here in the U.S. get up and laughingly confess their adultery and other sins to the media and the public while they have their wives standing right at their side? Don't you find that insulting to the wives and kids? It isn't about Germany or whatever country it happens in. It's about the media who put it out there.
I agree. We here in the U.S. haven't gotten past the Puritanical taboos on simply being humans. People fall in love and fall out of love. They have sexual urges that whether they are married or not, they will act out on or find ways to act out, usually aggressively, if those urges are repressed. We are still teenagers culturally compared to Europe. (Oh, I know. Now I'll get a bunch of dittoheads saying something about how if I love Europe so much, why don't I move there. Tell you what: If any of you will pay for me and my family to do that, I'll take you up on it. )
What an assinine statement. People have the urge to kill (anger) and steal (greed) whatever they want too. So if we decide to "simply be humans" we should go around murdering and pillaging as well? How is that any different than sexual urges (lust)?
It's not that the guy is divorced. @!$%# happens, I understand, and people get divorced. And some people come to mutually agreed upon arrangements of various sorts, also fine, as it is their business. But if you go and @!$%# around then lie to your spouse/significant other, it shows a severe lack of self-control, trust, honor, and respect for everyone around them. It's nothing more than selfishness.
As for your self-depricating comment comparing the US and Europe, the only thing I'll say is you're delusional if you think you'll find a society or culture more advanced than any other anywhere in the world. It's a juvenile and naive belief that somewhere there's some kind of magical promised land.
All but too sad how society continues to fall apart and accept the very things that was look down upon. Just like the other poster said, not a big deal anymore. I fear the future of such tolerances and how widely such views will be tolerated. We are at a time where elementary schools pass out condems from kindergarten on without the parents knowledge. That is freedom for ya. Happy 4th.
nothing other than his continued attempts to fix the absolute mess we are in thanks to the 8 years prior. please pay more attention, this country was devestated and we need americans to pay REAL attention to what is going on. Thank you.
Sorry guys... I'm young and I consider myself hip, but I'm of the opinon that there is nothing attractive of a woman in a beautiful gown with a trashy tattoo
And you are entitled to that opinion for sure. I think though you may be the minority on that one. Do you think tats on women in general are bad? Or just a woman in a gown who won't cover it up? Curious
I have 7 tattoos. And I agree a woman in a wedding dress with tats all over does change the "look." But, I have many girlfriends who have them on their arms and wore them proudly on their wedding day. I'm sure not everyone appreciated it..but it was their choice and didn't make their day terrible. I guess its just personal preference. I do think of myself as a "classy" lady ...just throwin that out there ;-)
Well the sky was more blue when Bush was President because Obama caused the Gulf oil spill which is being burnt off which is putting more particulate matter in the air and making the sky less blue,... AND it's contributing to Global Warming as well, which Obama caused because,.... well just 'cause he did.
Ooops. My dog just farted. Damn you Obama! Now you are making my dog fart!
Gee, why should the USA hold the record for politician who cheat on their wives. I don't understand why women have any respect for men. My husband only did it when his first wife was out of town and he thinks thats ok. What makes me think if I go for a visit out of town, that he isn't at the bar picking up some sleeze that agrees. Gee your not married anymore because she is not in the same city.
I just think it's sad that they have no sympathy for the first wife or his daughters. Adultery being in is shameful. So, why does the media think that this is tasteful? All I can say is lady if he cheated on his first wife for you, he will do it to you to.
We need a new approach to marriage. It should be like a lease that ends after a defined time period but with renewal options available. There should be clearly written termination provisions and "buy out" rights. Think about it, everyone will behave better once they give up this "soul mate" married forever in eternity nonsense. If you know your contract is coming up for renewal you will want to either be on your very best behavior, OR, you will be willing to really piss of your mate so that your option will not be picked up and you can become a "free agent".
You are absolutely right about that. If they'll cheat with you, they'll cheat on you. Why do people who cheat think they are "special" and it won't happen to them? Things may be ok for awhile, but it will happen. Maybe she will cheat on him and he can feel exactly how his first wife felt. That's what people who do this deserve. Why do this? If you don't want to be married, get out of the marriage first, then begin another relationship if that's what you want. Be respectful of people if you want to be respected. A person who has no integrity in their personal life cannot be expected to have integrity and honesty in a public life.
Another thought: Why would a 36 year old woman want to be married to a 51 year old man? YUCK! Gee, is it for the money and prestige of being 1st lady? I think so!
So true! My husband left me and our 12 y/o {at that time} daughter after 19 years of marriage for a shorter, OLDER woman and married her 4 days after our divorce was final. The icing on the cake was they both were cheating on each other within 3 years of their marriage. I do feel sorry for the both of them. Our daughter is 30 y/o now with a wonderfull man who has given her a good and happy life [12 years ] plus 2 beautiful daughters.
It's like having terminal brain cancer--there's a point where you have to give it up. It's well past the time for you and the religious right to deal with the fact you've lost. Marriage is a joke. MORE than 50% of marriages end in divorce. Most who continue to hang in there do so for financial reasons and among them the number of those engaged in adulterous affairs is astonishing. Most telling of al is that only EIGHT percent would marry the same person all over again!!! I find that hilariously funny.
Another thought: Why would a 36 year old woman want to be married to a 51 year old man? YUCK! Gee, is it for the money and prestige of being 1st lady? I think so!
You must be VERY young. You talk as though all 51 year old men are unattractive. Taken a look at George Clooney lately? He's pretty close to 51. And once you get out of your 20s, a 15 year age difference is no big deal. He seems to be an intelligent, nice-looking man - why WOULDN'T she want to be with him?
Jackie-1952475, r u 10yrs old, the only reason marriage dosent work is because PEOPLE don't work @ it, its a two way street, my in-laws remarried 4 times, had 12 children, but then that was before it became a me,me,me,me,me,me,me socitey of children. Look into ourselves get the monsters out and try to be a human!!!!!
The real story is not the tattoo but the faithlessness of a man to his spouse. History has shown that as a society becomes less moral, more accepting of the immoral, that society collapses. The ancient Chinese historians wrote about this, so this is not unknown just ignored.
A man who can not be trusted with the spouse he has/had should not be trusted with the leadership of his country!
Sure he can, in fact I think a man who has the courage to follow his heart and live by his passion (as opposed to staying in a dull relationship for convention sake), is likely to be a far better leader. We all make mistakes when we are young and have no power or influence in the world. When those things are acquired your life changes. Younger women are good for you when you are burdened with more responsibility.
So the question then becomes, which mistakes did he make. Breaking his till death do us part making his word untrustworthy or putting his passions over his word in the first and second marriage?
Does it ever occur to you that he did everything right? We all have a right to happiness. His word is not untrustworthy and his passion is his word.
Its the marriage vows and expectations that are foolishly romantic and unrealistic, and I will add, immature, in this day and age. They are a product of 10th Century romanticism when people lived 35 years on average, and the Church did not want single mom's and their children on their welfare rolls.
Hey if the man can multitask two women and run the country, then go for it. Look at JFK and Clinton. Both Presidents loved by the American people. Funny though that went influential people such as these commit adultry we all make a big stink out of it. They are normal human beings, the only difference between us and them is their status. Notice how you don't see news reports about your neighbors cheating on their spouses. It happens every day. Stop acting like it's such a big deal. People cheat for a reason - they are unhappy with their relationship in one way or another that leads them to do so. But that's just my two cents.
The sad truth is that relationships break down. In my young 20's, I had many older male friends. A couple of them in their mid 30's were in very disfunctional marriages. While both of them had children which they adored, their marriages were shambles. I know that one of them would occassionally cheat, while the other refused to do so. But in the end, both were miserable.
You could see the disfunction when you occassionally saw them with their wives. There was a strained tension between them. From the stories, appearantly the women would nag and scream at their husbands. In response, the men would increasingly ignore their wives and just turn their personal focus inward when they weren't spending time with the kids. It would be hard to say which side started the disfunction and which side initially responded, but both of them were truly guilty in the end. Even with the couples trying to put on a good public show for everyone else, you can hear the subtle insults and them talking down to each other.
It frankly broke my heart as I once saw one couple passively aggressively fighting in public. They might have thought that their fake nice tone of voice had fooled their two children. Yet their eldest, a daughter who had just entered junior high, saw it all. You could see that she was unconciously observing and processing this information. To her, this would be an example of how a "functional" relationship operated. I was filled with a deep sadness as I realized that their poor daughter would spend much of her life getting involved with men who would treat her horribly because she would expect that as part of a "healthy" relationship.
My point is that while every adult in this situation might have been a good parent by themselves, they were really poor parents in their current marriages. If all parties were genuinely willing to continue to be strong presences in their children's lives, then I see no reason that people shouldn't want to get divorced. From my observations, most people marry too young. They don't know who they are, where their life is going, and what they want in a life partner. Therefore many people make poor choices in their youth about factors which are really minor in the big scheme of their entire lives. People in these situations should do what is best for their children, which means being the best parent that they can be. Sometimes that means having to get divorced so your own venom in your marriage doesn't spill over onto your kids.
(Though I fell out of touch with both of those guys over the years, I heard that they finally both got divorced. To be honest, they should have done that at least a few years earlier. But sometimes late is better than never.)
Thus far all I am hearing is that your actions are controlled by how you feel not what choices you make, therefore you are not responsible for your own actions because your feelings control you. What this means is that a murderer is innocent based on his feeling. Hitler was innocent of genocide because he felt the Jews were bad, and mind you German society accepted that as societally acceptable, so does that mean it was right, absolutely not.
Amen, and even when a person makes a good choice the odds are still against long term marriage. People age at different rates, their interests change, their income changes, sometimes poverty binds people together while affluence opens up worlds they did not expect, people grow apart instead of together, that's no one's fault. Add all of lifes little vicissitudes to the equation and you have a recipe for divorce.
Marriage and Divorce are both antiguated concepts. We need a new approach to marriage. It should be like a lease that ends after a defined time period but with renewal options available. There should be clearly written termination provisions and "buy out" rights. Think about it, everyone will behave better once they give up this "soul mate" married forever in eternity nonsense. If you know your contract is coming up for renewal you will want to either be on your very best behavior, OR, you may be willing to really piss off your mate so that your option will not be picked up and you can become a "free agent".
There is a very real difference between mass murders and human relationships breaking down. If you want to try to engage in a battle of semantics otherwise, then you're just wasting your time.
Relationships can end. Does every single one of your friendships start and stay the same forever? Have you ever drifted away from any friend over the course of your entire lifetime? If you believe otherwise, then you are in denial. Unfortunately the same issue occurs in marriage. Two married people are supposed to shift through life together, which is different from drifting apart in opposite directions.
The truth is that a lot of people are just bad at relationships. We can sugar coat it, but history proves this time and time again. Thus some married people are left with a simple choice. Do they continue to be married to a perfect stranger which they are likely growing to resent, or do they move on with their lives. It's really that simple, though the aftermath of that decision isn't nearly so clean or controlable.
Kingdomsan, You either control yourself with acquired wisdom, wisdom is always learned the hard way, or guilt controls you. Its your choice. You can choose life and self-acheivement and add to your wisdom, or you can choose guilt and quiet desperation and add to your unhappiness and ignorance. Like I said its your choice. Really, it has not much to do with "feelings".
Egotistical and Selfish people will always rationalize their failures and mistakes. It allows them to cope with their imperfections. It does not make them better or stronger people.
Same goes for those writing volumes within this chain stating how this is such a wonderful thing. If you fail, own up to it. Do not create a new moral relativity to weasel out of it.
Cniht, So you see what I mean? right? Where is the failure? Are we supposed to revere a ball and chain? Can no mistake made at 20 years old ever, ever, be rectified? Guilt will imprison you and the truth shall set you free.
Did I state that you cannot rectify mistakes? Did I state he had to stay in his relationship? No. But should he be recieving kodos from you, or any other person for his 'abandonment' (very clear word meaning he took a unilateral decision to leave without consulting her) of his wife?
The simple answer is: "No." But Mr. Wulff is telling himself this right now, he's telling others around him this right now, and you're also espousing it right now. The gentleman needs to be honest with himself and everyone about his failure, face it and move forward. It isn't that he divorced and moved into another relationship. He immediately skipped from one bed to the other. He probably was already trying out his new "ball and chain's" (as you so eloquently put it) bed before he removed himself from his first commitment. There is nothing to espouse or glorify in this situation. This woman also allowed herself to intrude on a committed man, showing her own lack of character.
Glorifying, self-centered, weak willed, little people (and he is very very little to me regardless of his position) is nothing anyone should be proud of or rush to do. People fail, we are all imperfect. It is when we start lauding our imperfections, rationalizing them, justifying them and stop attempting to even give the appearance of trying to improve ourselves that we are doomed. As a society and as a culture.
And the truth will set this man free. Unfortunately he has not the character nor courage to to face it.
Cniht, You and I don't know all the facts or what happened, and even if we were close friends of the parties involved we wouldn't know. Its the judgement you make that "egotistical and selfish", "weak willed self-centered little people" are automatiocally involved when in fact you don't know that. That judgement of their personal character is without any objective basis in fact except your own. Its a judgement made on your own determination as an outsider from the sparse reporting in this story. Where do you get off with that? I am not trying to justifiy the actions of these individuals but I am commenting on the horrible misconception that people who marry are bound forever to their partners no matter what the circumstances. That just doesn't make any sense, and it is long past time for the mental health of the people involved and society as a whole that we re-think what the hell we are doing when we get married. This is not the 10th Century although I recognize that many people wish it were. We do not live in an age of Chivalry, lets get over it, and develop some sensible way to live together , to procreate, and to mature and develop as individuals without all this guilt and condemnation. We are living twice as long as any one who made up these so-called moral standards ever imagined. Lets stop whipping ourselves over our own nature.
Here is the thing, everything comes down to choice, as James has said. Choice to stay married or not to. But again you are using societies standard as the rule. At one time society accepted slavery as acceptable, was it good and right? At one time society accepted gladiatorial game, was it right? The answer to both of these is no, regardless of what time period of history was. And you are making the assumption that man created these rules of marriage. If he did then why has man even bothered with the institution it does not make any real logical sense, the chance of procreation increases with an increased pool of potential. If something outside of man created the rules of marriage then maybe it is good and came be completed, as any marriage vow say, for better or worse, till death and not before.
Now you are at the point of the matter. I don't think God had anything to do with it. I think the notion of romantic love, one and only one wife, and 'until death do us part" is a construct of men who sought to solve certain important societal problems in the middle ages. Namely, they wanted to keep men in a position of responsibility to care for the women and children who would otherwise be a burden on society, and the high mortality rate took care of the rest. God for his part seems to favor responsible procreation with as many women as you can support. And woman and man shall become one, and one, and one, as many times as they like.
We don't have the same societal problems today so we need to implement new standards.
Really? Comparing the German first lady to Michelle Obama? Are you drunk? Michelle Obama is f**king ugly and has about as much class as the people that shop at a Wal-mart at 2:30am.
She is a beautiful woman and you know they are doin' it in the Whitehouse, hopefully in the Lincoln bedroom. Such events were undoubtedly rare and or questionable if they occurred at all under the last several administrations! However, I do think Laura had a lot of unsatisfied urges, you can just see it in her eyes and the way she holds her lips! Apparently what GW had to offer was pretty small in more ways than one!
I think that most of you skipped over the main point of the article, which is about the German President's strikingly beautiful first lady and that she has a tattoo. The tattoo being the sign of a modern woman. It is not about extramarital affairs.
Since fifty percent of the marriages will fail in this country, we should not judge others. This is especially true if we don't know all of the facts. So chill out!
You just had to throw a picture of Mrs. Obama into this story, didn't you! Why can't you just run a clean story about someone interesting, without always cluttering it up with something about "them".... You liberal media types are so predictable!
I predicted 10 years ago that one day tattoos would become mainstream and we'd eventually have a head of state with them and/or body piercings. We're getting close. Only hoods had them? Wow, how about all those brave soldiers?
Right...sailors have been getting tat's since WWI....that remark is uncalled for!
That's right, sailors have been getting them since Moby Dick was a minnow.

Indigenous peoples, especially in the South Pacific and the Southeast Asian Island nations have had them as well as some Northern European tribes. You probably didn't know that JFK had a U.S. Navy tattoo.
Here's the [slightly obscured] tattoo, since there wasn't a picture. She's pretty.
Anybody else think it looks like Marvin Martian?
"When I was growing up only hoods had them and those who did were definately NOT date worthy!"
Wow. Thanks a lot. You & I are most likely somewhat close to the same age & I've had tats ever since I was 17. But I always thought I was a pretty decent guy. :) :)

Tyler - thanks for the picture.

All I do is look for pictures of tattoos and women. Sometimes at the same time. :)
i'd tap dat arse in a heartbeat
Roger, I told you, you tiger now!
"There is no such thing as a nice/pretty tattoo."
Cool .... you just insulted 50% of the human race & claimed that you are somehow better than they are by having "clean" skin.
It's a good thing everyone gives a crap what you think. Especially a First Lady.
Get over yourself. No one plans on changing their life because you think something is trashy.

Maybe because she's somebody and you aren't.
Sorry MEGAN 775
Verrrry inter-rest-tink. An article about striking good looks & a tattoo but no photo. Calling for Mr. Editor-man........
You have to go to this page to see more:

Grossartig!
THAT'S what I was wondering too, all this babble about a tatoo and no picture. What's up?
I agree, who cares if she has a tattoo. This is not what I call news!!!!!!. maybe if some stated something about our LOVELY PRESIDENT that be news.
Shouldn't an article about a tattoo have a picture of the tattoo...Â
I guess that depends where it is...???
Can't wait til she breaks out the tramp stamp...
Maybe if you would look at the picture you would see the tattoo on her arm. It's as plain as day.
More "head-turning" liberals with attitudes -- main-stream media dream material. ho humm.... zzzz.
That just means that there are alot of morons out there that tune in to your "truth".
Here's some truth for you....Fox isn't news ...it's opinions and people like you that only possess have half a brain believe them to be truths.
Your opinion, albeit wrong. Fox clearly has undisputed evidence. And btw, what do you call that far left liberal dribble you call news? I assume that is not just followers repeating the same crap over and over?
Tattoos are no longer a sign of rebellion, they're a fashion statement. They are as common as ear piercings. Big deal.
...they are ugly as hell.
Hey - Be NICE, I've got a Tattoo of Popeye on my forearm and little kids and adults all over the world have said it's great. Good for foreign relations and diplomacy.
Sorry, Vet - but on women - not flattering. Just wait til they gets those flabby granny arms.
I see your point. Peace.
Your Name Here;
Flabby Granny Arms, You don't think men get flabby grampy arms? No difference.
A tatoo, a new husband who dumped his wife of 18 years and wants to be like Michelle, give us a break who really cares about either of them
This is not news! It displays adultry and a tatto? Geez, no regards to the ex wife or daughters' feelings. Way to go Germany!
Don't blame Germany, blame the media who are making an issue of it. Controversy and sensationalism is the only thing that sells.
Americans are such prudes. Europeans expect that couples married a long time will either split or have affairs. It's the way we humans are wired. Europeans don't fight it so much. Americans fight it. Neither Europeans nor Americans are successful in their fight.
Which is better?
Germany?
John Toradze,
Very interesting but stupid. No picture of the tattoo is just lame. It is not like it is located on her breast or butt.
That would require a picture even MORE.
Happy 4th.
You Go Bettina!!!
nothing other than his continued attempts to fix the absolute mess we are in thanks to the 8 years prior. please pay more attention, this country was devestated and we need americans to pay REAL attention to what is going on. Thank you.
Sorry guys... I'm young and I consider myself hip, but I'm of the opinon that there is nothing attractive of a woman in a beautiful gown with a trashy tattoo
No Class....   Just my personal opinion
And you are entitled to that opinion for sure. I think though you may be the minority on that one. Do you think tats on women in general are bad? Or just a woman in a gown who won't cover it up? Curious
I personally don't have any... but if you choose to have a tat for whatever reason, perhaps a more discreet place...
Imagine a gorgeous wedding gown with tats exposed... It just changes everything.
I do think of myself as a "classy" lady ...just throwin that out there ;-)
Cool... In have friends and family with tats. Just my personal opinion
Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie have plenty of tattoos (visible ones, too), and men still think they're smoking hot, whether in a gown or dressed down.
The next thing we will be talking about is how blue the sky is...and someone inevitably will bring Obama into it...quite funny!
Worst President EVER!
rotflmao
Gee, why should the USA hold the record for politician who cheat on their wives. I don't understand why women have any respect for men. My husband only did it when his first wife was out of town and he thinks thats ok. What makes me think if I go for a visit out of town, that he isn't at the bar picking up some sleeze that agrees. Gee your not married anymore because she is not in the same city.
It must be a slow news day today.
I just think it's sad that they have no sympathy for the first wife or his daughters. Adultery being in is shameful. So, why does the media think that this is tasteful? All I can say is lady if he cheated on his first wife for you, he will do it to you to.
All it said was they met while he was married. You convicting them of adultery w/o any evidence? Hope you're never on a jury
We need a new approach to marriage. It should be like a lease that ends after a defined time period but with renewal options available. There should be clearly written termination provisions and "buy out" rights. Think about it, everyone will behave better once they give up this "soul mate" married forever in eternity nonsense. If you know your contract is coming up for renewal you will want to either be on your very best behavior, OR, you will be willing to really piss of your mate so that your option will not be picked up and you can become a "free agent".
i agree with Sandy- all these powerful basturds abandon their wives for the young ones in a heartbeat.
I'm just curious here...... How would "the kids" factor into this contract?
Jackie-1952475, r u 10yrs old, the only reason marriage dosent work is because PEOPLE don't work @ it, its a two way street, my in-laws remarried 4 times, had 12 children, but then that was before it became a me,me,me,me,me,me,me socitey of children. Look into ourselves get the monsters out and try to be a human!!!!!
Sandy -- Thank you for writing the truth.
Notice, how nobody says the woman is bad for taking the older guy.
Kingdomsan,
Does it ever occur to you that he did everything right?
Kingdomson:
Wiser,
Amen, and even when a person makes a good choice the odds are still against long term marriage.
James,
Did I state that you cannot rectify mistakes?
Forget that tat chat, are there any phoots of her topless?
Topless "Phoots" would be more interesting.
Really? Comparing the German first lady to Michelle Obama? Are you drunk? Michelle Obama is f**king ugly and has about as much class as the people that shop at a Wal-mart at 2:30am.
LOL
And I can see by your comments that you are a very classy person!
Your moniker explains it all. No need to elaborate!
I'm very harsh on Obama's policies however Michelle is not bad looking
She is a beautiful woman and you know they are doin' it in the Whitehouse, hopefully in the Lincoln bedroom. Such events were undoubtedly rare and or questionable if they occurred at all under the last several administrations! However, I do think Laura had a lot of unsatisfied urges, you can just see it in her eyes and the way she holds her lips! Apparently what GW had to offer was pretty small in more ways than one!
Tisk Tisk there fellow! You truly lack class and respect. I admire and support our country's leader even if I don't always agree with him.
Perhaps the "you betcha gal" wink wink Palin is more to your liking? Careful what you wish for in 2012!
On the other hand, how about a photo of the tat.
You just had to throw a picture of Mrs. Obama into this story, didn't you! Why can't you just run a clean story about someone interesting, without always cluttering it up with something about "them".... You liberal media types are so predictable!
Explains your post very well.
She should get together with my son. He has hundreds of tatoos. They would have lots to talk about!
