I notice that thusfar you're only mentioning one place in the entire United States. That is on the northeastern coast. What about people who live in the midwest, south central, southern and western states?????????? There are lots of other places for those who cannot afford to travel from California to New York for the sole purpose of a fireworks show on the 4th of July. I live in Diamond Bar, California, about 30 miles west of LA and 20 miles north of the Pacific coast. I also live about 18 miles north of Disneyland. There I can watch a very good 4th of July fireworks show. It may not be as good as the one in NY on the Hudson River and about one mile long, but it is better than their everyday fireworks. And notice that it is EVERYDAY throughout the summer that they have fireworks.
Boo Hoo. Those from Queens and Brooklyn now have to do what everyone else in the area has had to do for YEARS, travel to see the fireworks. New Yorkers are such crybabies.
John,
First, naturally your 4th fire works display will be better than any nonexistent daily NY fireworks display. Second, the Macy's Fireworks display is the largest in the country. I think they're expecting 34 million to see or watch it. Hence the mention. Third, for those who can't see it in person, it is broadcast on TV. It will be one of many fireworks displays broadcast on television.
