Marchese said she was not suffering from any life-threatening injuries, but he did not know her condition.
Does this sound like a police chief giving a professional assessment of a rather unusual incident? Or more like a police chief loosely flapping his jaw just for the sake of some media exposure?
The woman falls out a window from three stories up, lands and bounces on her car, casually meanders into a neighbors house uninvited, then lays down and goes to sleep for a couple of hours. Anyone on the police force ever heard of the variety of effects from a concussion? The Chief states the woman is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries (as if he's 'in-the-know') and then oddly admits he didn't know her condition. Which is it, Chief? He must be a jim-dandy in a courtroom. HA! :)
That would be interesting to know, Mom. If she only grabbed a couple of hours of sleep prior to the 9-1-1 call, it would definitely show up after a medical examination, depending on how thorough they examine her.
You guys are terrible. It could easily be sleepwalking. The brain is probably the biggest black box left in the human body to resolve...there are plenty of reports of drugs like Ambien causing unusual behavior when people are "asleep". The fact that you all jump to the worst conclusion speaks volumes of our society. If this was a hollywood celebrity I'd pin it on drugs, but on regular people who could easily have a variety of medical conditions? For shame...
Speaking of terrible things..... Don't you just love those Ambien commercials where they warn potential users of the possible side effects? Driving while asleep is a hum-dinger, wouldn't you say? It's bad enough having to duck and dodge drivers while they're on their cell phones, applying make-up or texting. Now we have to watch out for the sleepers also! Yo're absolutuely correct. It is a shame.
Sleepwalking was my first thought. Recently a young man with a history of sleepwalking managed to climb out an upstairs window and fall off a roof ledge. He stumbled into the street before dying and was found by a neighbor leaving for work at dawn. So sad.
Its not always drugs and ETOH y'know. So glad "andwhat" found it so amusing.
Hoped they checked her out thoroughly at the hospital. If they did then I am certain we will be hearing about the large golden horseshoe she had stuck somewhere on (I mean in) her person. That woman was LUCKY!
LAKEMOOR, Ill. — Police said a 30-year-old woman apparently fell out of a third-story window, landed on her parked car, and then walked into a neighbor's house, where she fell asleep on a couch for two hours.
Darn, what was in that bottle of whiskey?

It's pretty vague reporting. It could have been any number of issues concerning her health. Concussion, and/or shock, drugs-legal or otherwise, but probably not alcohol. Alcohol will make you bleed too easy, but then you never know about internal bleeding, too. Good investigating,ha.
I don't know what is more amazing that she survived the dropped from a thrid story window or that she didn't seem to care let only took noticed that she even fell. Then she casually came into her neighbor's house and crashed on her couch as if it was her own. home. She must not of been thinking striaght or something. She could of been using drugs maybe drowsy from some medication she might of been taking. She might of even been suffering from shock as the result of falling. although how the police believes she isn't suffering from life-threatening injuries without any knowledge of her condition is unexplain. He cluld be guessing cause if she suffered any lifethreatiening injuries she would of been dead by now.
the complete story : fell 3 stories landed on her parked car gets up walks in an open garage and a unlocked house sleeps on there couch, cooks breakfast ,cleaned the neighbors house ,walked there dog then called 911 !
There might be one other explanation, though admittedly it's a 's t r e t c h' ... Maybe, just before she slammed onto the parked car from three stories up, she jumped up and thereby lessened the impact considerably. You know, kind of like a lot of people theorize about when wondering what they would do if the elevator they are in were to suddenly begin plummeting to the ground floor from far above. C'mon.... Don't try to deny it. A lot of people think that will actually work. Hey, I did say it's a 's t r e t c h'. HA! :)

A new action hero is born " CATWOMAN "
It sounds like her 'condition' is imbibing.
Please suspect alcohol may have been involved.
it could have been shock...but it will be interesting to see if alcohol was involved.

Wow I've never been that drunk! LOL
Ha! Good one. Guess she was fortunate enough to have the car break her fall from the third floor window, huh?
Wow, either alcohol or a head injury, which can cause erratic behavior.
That is one lucky bitch!!!
The word is bitch Female dog

never laughed so hard at a headline in my life... took a couple minutes to actually begin reading it

"He must be a jim-dandy in a courtroom. HA! :)".Yeah but he gets all the donuts he can eat and it's better than working... Smile :-)

Why is everyone cheering and hoping that she was drunk? Either way, this incident was epic.
She could die because of a concussion however. My previous statement will remain true if that also doesn't show up.
It's all a government plot to prove to the world that superhumans do exist. Either that or the 'law' out there is as backwoods as my in-laws.
she had to have been s#|tfaced drunk or stoned, dumb broad

Mythbusters busted that myth. It doesn't work.
