As a military veteran who lost loved ones in WW2, Vietnam and Iraq i strongly believe ANY memorial to those who died for us is appropriate.

The government transferred the land the cross is on to private owners, supreme court ruled it was ok, the feds have no say re. replacement.

Although I strongly support the separation of church and state, I also oppose vandalism. Restore what the Supreme Courtt has ruled legal!

There's nothing wrong with the memorial, and if people are offended by the cross there, then maybe they could add their own tributes...?

The veterans deserve a fitting memorial, the government however should not be involved in pushing a particular religion.

Yes, replaced with a secular symbol. Christians were not the only ones who served during WWI.
