A very good friend of mine is the County Prosecutor in my area (not Texas). He once told me of a National prosecutors Convention in Texas somewhere, and told me that he was having a conversation with a Texas prosecutor during a break. After exchanging some cordialities, the Texas Prosecutor told my friend, " The trouble with y'all, is that y'all have the death penalty, but y'all don't want to kill nobody!" Which he was right! We have the death penalty but the gutless judges won't give it to the ones who need it the most! So I wouldn't say that Texas is soft!! They do what has to be done to the ones that need it!
i do believe the man is facing only ten years prison for the murder. more cutbacks and bad economy, he will be out in two.

i think the border patrol should have costs covered by all states, just because iowa is in the middle of the country, doesnt mean we dont need the U.S. border fenced. why should border states go broke over it? and they are migrating clear up here and costing us also.
So why a chainsaw???? I mean it really takes som time and effort to start it up, chase her down and then decapitate her? Holy crap! I do not think that there would be much of a defense that this was not clearly premeditated. Not trying to sound flippant but I just can't imagine what kind of person it takes to choose a chainsaw to kill someone. Not that killing someone isn't bad enough.
And by the way, it is pretty low for some of you to just assumethat any name that is Hispanic automatically means they are from Mexico or that they are not citizens just like you and me. A pretty significant percentage of the population of the US have names that are not just Smith, Jones, and Johnson. The guy is a major piece of crap, and it has nothing to do with his or her name.
Texas had a law on the books that you could not beat your wife with a stick bigger than your thumb. You know that old rule of thumb.

The Chainsaw Decapitator has figured out that you can get away with murder in America. He'll end up living his life in prison courtesy of the American Taxpayer, where he'll probably thrill- kill a few more times, perhaps some first-time non-violent offenders.
People are getting more and more violent. It makes me sick. They had 6 children together and this is the way he treats her? I hope they catch this monster quick- before he gets a chance to flee to Mexico. He needs to face what he has done and face his children who are now without a mother and a father.

I can not image this! Did she just stand there while he cranked up the saw, and not attempt to run? Or did he knock her out first ( I sure do hope that she was unconscious when he decapitated her)? I have a real good tip for the Dallas PD. He is heading to Mexico. He is most likely an ILLEGAL ALIEN who came here ILLEGALLY and is now going back across the boarder to escape justice.
