councilman holt it's time you go. wastmanagment and now this. don't let the door hit you on the way out.
au contraire........everyone makes mistakes, the test is whether they realize they have erred and whether they correct the mistake. Councilman Holts decision on not recommending Parvez Ahmed for a position on the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission is well thought and correct. If the suggested individual cannot readily see the criminality of killing innocent individuals because they are of another religion then he does not belong on the commission. As an example is it acceptable to kill another person because of their skin color, racial origin/ethnicity. Further how would Ahmed view the Holocaust where millions were killed because they were Jewish, Polish and/or other criteria as set by the Nazi's of World War II. Absolutely no one should sit in judgement or make decisions if they are racially or religiously biased. This is America and every day we move ever closer to the ideals voiced in our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Another person once said that persons should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. I don't believe Ahmed could pass a lie detector test or interview with a skilled interviewer on these questions.
where did you come up with this? it sounds like you have just made up a bunch of lies you're self. maybe the person who needs a lie detector is you danno-758755
