This says it all in my opinion.. I do not want to be forced to pay for her medical bills, just like I am probably paying for her disability.. it's totally unacceptable.
Dennis Leary had it right when he said "Put Down the Fork!!!" The idea that this person would aspire to be more morbidly obese than she already is, is mind boggling. This is one of the major flaws with this country, people get attention for doing the most insanely irresponsible things. I cannot believe that woman actually said that "running after her daughter keeps my weight down". I tell you what lady you want to impress me, go on a HEALTHY diet and then give all that extra food you shouldn't be eating to a food kitchen or a charity that helps feed the poor and hungry in this country, and only when that news story comes out I will think you are anything but a irresponsible, selfish slob. To her boyfriend, there is nothing wrong with liking a woman with some extra meat, I don't understand our culture that fawns over sickly looking models that resemble stick figures, but your support of this womans apparent death wish (and lets face it how many living 1,000 pounders do you know who aren't on their death bed) could land you in a world of legal hurt. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see you trumped up on charges should this woman pass away do to her eating habits.
She can also be the first person to sign up under Obama's health care program, She would be the prefect advertisement for the government run program. If the government wants to subsidize every aspect of our existence this is what government should expect. Welcome to the Third World Nation of Obama.
The only advertisement this woman could credibly be would be one of massive dysfunction - and I mean that both literally and figuratively.
If this woman really wants to become 1000 pounds then her children should be removed from her care. As she grows larger and larger she will become less able to care for her children, if she is even really able to care for them now. How much can she do with her kids if she can't walk more than 20 feet? Eventually she will likely become housebound and won't be able to perform even the most basic aspects of caring for her kids. She is setting dangerous example. And she is doing it intentionally.
There is no way she can convince me she is healthy. I'm willing to bet she has high blood pressure, is likely diabetic, is putting a horrible strain on her heart and will develop more serious health problems as she continues.
This woman has a PROBLEM! And to disrespect your body like that is pitiful! Bu then, she IS getting attention now, just like Octomom. That's what she wants.
This is total irresponsibility because when she becomes deathly ill it will be up to her family and us taxpayers to take care of her. Obesity is no laughing matter.
They should go after her for child negelct. She odviously does not care about the well being of her children. If she did she would not want to gain more weight just to be in some book. If she gains anymore weight, she will not be able to care for her kids becuase she will not be mobile. Plus, she is taking the chance of killing herself...
I love how everyone assumes she's on government support. It sounds more like she's getting rather hefty (no pun intended) income from working her site.

Ok...something wrong here. If she is on assistance of any sort (and how can she not be?) why isn't her caseworker sending her for mental health treatment? What kind of nut jobs are paying to see her eat? This is just too sad, and would she pursue this route if the media didn't pick up on it?
She may not be on assistance. The boyfriend is probably supporting her to some extent. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if she's making good money from the website - there are an awful lot of "chubby chasers" out in the world, not to mention people who just like to watch others eat ridiculous amounts of food (as evidenced by the popularity of eating contests).
Sorry lady. You have got some SERIOUS mental health issues. And so does your boyfriend. I agree with Abigail but I would take it even further. This is obviosly a choice she is making. Cut off ANY government assistance she is getting and take this poor child out of her care. As for all of you sickos out there that are actually paying to watch this person eat.....GET A LIFE PEOPLE!

She has two children, and most likey she is on government assistance. She eats nearly around the clock and can barely move around on an eletric scooter. She has to sit down and rest for awhile after walking only 20 feet.
What is wrong with our society? How could anyone in their right mind aspire to be obese? She needs therapy and I too do not wish to pay for her health insurance. The boyfriend also needs help, I sympathize with her children.

I agree Bob; self-inflicting illnesses shouldn't be covered by any insurance or Medicaid. She is knowingly putting her health in danger, and thus assuming all responsibility for the consequences of her actions. I'm actually at a loss for words. I've always wondered how overweight people (who cannot even make it to the refrigerator anymore) -- are able to continue the level of consumption that got them so fat, after normal motion becomes difficult ?
