I truly hope they throw the book at these two jerks. Not only did they damage a First Order Fresnel Lens, with shooting and damaging the nearby Coast Guard active light, they endangered the lives of mariners at sea. Lock them up and throw the key away!
Not only should they have the book thrown at them, they should have any property they own confiscated and sold to help pay for repair. They should also have any future wages garnished, assuming these two knuckle draggers work!
