I question the validity of the cow killing/suicide.50 some odd rounds and no one in the house heard a thing? Most dairy farmer wives are on a continual vigil especially now.We know where our husbands are we know what they're doing,we know what their frame of mind is.I know several farmers who have killed themselves;either before or after the cows were gone, but not a one would have ever harmed the cows themslelves,In many cases ,dairyfarmers are there when the cows they someday will milk are born, they fight to keep those animals alive when they're sick, they mourn the loss of a cow whether she dies or must be culled to make room for her off-spring.It's not an easy business, but it's a family business and not just in a primate way.
