I can't for the life of me understand how the jury convicted this couple. #1 The boy, under state law, was old enough to decide for himself whether or not he wanted medical care, and #2 What ever happened to separation of church and state? The Mormons sold out their beliefs so that Utah could become a state. What is this church supposed to do? It sound to me like the state is telling them what and what they can not do. Wasn't this country founded on freedom of religion? I must have been mis-informed many years, when we studied the constitution in school. As a parent, I feel for the couple, but as a citizen, I am totally disgusted with the government!!!
i gess its not ok to think the way you want! the kid was 16 he was old enough to say NO! AT 12 YOU CAN DEVORICE YOUR MOM & DAD. Igo to the VA i feel they have tryd to kill me three dif. times and have toaled them so . no one but him is responsibe for his owen death. this conviction is bull the people that came to blame the mom n dad must be on CRACK the judge should be throne off the bench. vengance is mine sayth the lord . not a bunch of crack heads. docs are STUPID!they thinkthey are god they know ANYTHING they expirament on people, as long it the drug only kills 10 in 100000 its ok to sell to the people.
Finally a just verdict has been rendered. Legally, and in life stage, a 16 year old should be cared for by their parents. He was dependent on his parents for his well-being, and I feel that their lack of responsibility and proper care on his part justifies the verdict given them. Yes, we are each entitled to our own religious beliefs, but MY God is not a cruel god, and it is my belief that God gives doctors the abilities to heal. I hope this serves as a sign and a warning to those who do not, in that no one else, or their loved ones, have to suffer.

I don't have a problem with faith in God, but have a little common sense! Old enough to make the descision or not, he's still their child. Take him to the doctor and pray that the doctor can get him better. What a bunch of idiots. Then again if more people thought that way it might not be bad for the over-population problem.
