Triumph indeed. History show us that for every “drug kingpin” removed there are dozens just waiting to fill that vacancy. No doubt there will be turf wars and numerous murders as the candidates wage war on one another to fill this vacancy. The government has captured one kingpin only to have another kingpin in place before the dust has settled, and at what cost?
This war on drugs that has raged for decades is not winnable.
A friend of mine had an idea that I found interesting. Forget about that fence to keep smulgers out, Dig a moot!
Yep! Take the dirt from that and put it around New Orleans to build the leevies. Then take all the Gaters from Florida that are going after kids and put them in the moot! Drug/Immigration problem solved!
Have you seen what they do to bullfrogs? They stuff then and lacquer them in positions like playing guitar sitting at a bar etc. Hundreds of them. By the way I like hearing about these guys getting caught, or better wacked. They are really animals. Deserve no better fate than a slow gunshot death. Better yet a hot lead enema.
Don't worry, folks. If the corrupt politicos in Mexico can think of a way to profit by it, they'll let him "escape". None of them are any different than the criminals they supposedly try to catch. Low scum, all.
What a joke. One leaves another fills his place, that's the way its been and that's the way it will always be. They put this up to somehow justify that 69 people died in just ONE day either yesterday or the day before. Our Government officials responsible for the Drug War should be tried in Criminal court for crimes against humanity and democracy for pursuing Laws no longer supported by the Majority of Americans.
Its true that where one goes another fills their place, but at least its something. Personally, any time someone who dissolves people in acid gets caught I think its a good thing.
I agree. Then go after the tobacco, alcohol, and pharmaceutical companies that lobby to keep certain drugs illegal to keep competition down and make themselves look like the good guys. Without them, this guy would have had to get a normal job, in which he wouldn't have the opportunity to kill hundreds of people. (and don't forget the privately owned prisons, which would go out of business without the war on drugs)
True, which is why if you LEGALIZE THE DRUGS, the criminals will no longer associate with them! Decent Americans can then get what they want without having to slum, or take chances with their lives, so the nanny-staters can keep their control over other peoples lives.
America's "War on Drugs," keeping the Cartels in business since 1972!
Execute any person who is found guilty of possession of illegal substance. Why spend all this money and time to try to get the guys at the top. Start with the users at the bottom. Use CA's 3 times and your out...........forever. America's War on Drugs should start at home, not in Mexico or Columbia.
We all know this won't solve the drug problem. Why can't the US and Mexican gov't realize this also? Maybe they ought to commission a study on why these people are so stupid.
Pretty much. Legalizing marijuana would solve some of the problems (obviously they would still import other drugs). The lower prices here are for drugs the less problems Mexico will have.
As it turns out Caulderon is doing a fantastic job on his side of the border. Too bad the US still feeds the demand for drugs and sends so dern many arms back to Mexico, or he would have won already.
For every drug king pin in Mexico, there is a corresponding gang and king pin in the US. One has to wonder why Mexico can do so much of a better job than we can.
A better job at hunting down the gangs that profit from his own stupid policies. (that he is forced to continue because the good ole u s of a wouldn't be his friend if he decided to do the right thing)
For all the arrogance we view the country to our south. At least they are waging a war worth fighting, and appear to be making more traction with less resources. Something to think about.
Nice...but really so what? This country with it's lax border patrol got lucky...Homeland Security really needs to "beef up" the borders..these mexians are like cockroaches they manage to find another way to get in no matter what..California is riddled with illegals and that is because Homeland Secuirty in all it's half assed efforts is failing horribly. The drugs will still find their way in and so will the illegals. It makes me sick and the US looks like a joke.
Nice going-keep it up!! The country with the best morals will prosper!! Poor morals have done us in up here in the US (free porn, gambling problems, debt/consumption/big egos/hollyweird etc) Mexicans seem to me to be fine folks humble, solid work ethic and a healthy respect for Christianity! However, you do have a reputation up here for having too high an organized crime rate!! Keep up the good work and God Bless our neighbors to the south!!
Think about where all the drugs come from. They come from columbia, venezuela, mexico, afghanistan, etc....I personally applaud the mexican government for trying to make a difference. We really do not need to be supporting the taliban, or hugo chavez, which is where a lot of drug money winds up.
Whoop dee fvckin doo.
Well, that should do it. He's captured. Now drugs will stop flowing across the border and Mexicans and Americans alike enter a new drug-free world.
I'm going to dance in the street.
orbust,
In Mexico, they're not that nice.
Yayyyy!!! May he rot in jail.
We blew up his drug and traffiking tunnels in S. California.
Time to watch El Teo dance at the end of a rope.
Time to watch anybody who has ever been convicted on a narcotics charge to dance with him. Kill the demand.

The musical group The Who said it best, "Here comes the new boss, he's the same as the old boss." (We Won't get Fooled Again)

They'd kill the 'gaters and sell the skins back to you at a flea market.
You must be a retarded kid.
Moot? Do you mean moat?
Funny LU

This might be a moot point, but you meant moat. :P Very interesting thoughts! I like 'em!
Good job!!
One down... 7,000 or so drug lords to go...
LOL! You are on a roll.
Why don't just kill him and be done with? instead of puting him behind bars.
Castrate the SOB; let him bleed to death.
You have to have blood in order to bleed to death
I think acid would do nicely. Let him be put to death the way he put others to death!
I agree with Cathy, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Acid it is!
Eric Holder told him to lawyer up.
Don't worry, folks. If the corrupt politicos in Mexico can think of a way to profit by it, they'll let him "escape". None of them are any different than the criminals they supposedly try to catch. Low scum, all.
You have them confused with George Bush, who liked to put Border Patrol agents in jail for harassing drug dealers.
BadBob:
I like Harry Reid's solution - let's make them citizens.
Hmm...let's do the same to him. Oh wait, that would be cruel and unusual punishment and we're too nice for that...
Coming soon to an American neighborhood near you!
Unless you live in LA County....it's already there.
Anywhere in California for that matter
Anywhere south of Canada for that matter

Cut his penis and testicles off. This is how all terrorists should be treated. Screw you A.C.L.U.

Dream on. Criminals are by nature, criminals.
True, which is why if you LEGALIZE THE DRUGS, the criminals will no longer associate with them! Decent Americans can then get what they want without having to slum, or take chances with their lives, so the nanny-staters can keep their control over other peoples lives.

Execution?! For using a substance that is less addictive than caffeine, and safer than aspirin?!
Instead, how about we start with the stupid? I know who's first in line.
.
We all know this won't solve the drug problem. Why can't the US and Mexican gov't realize this also? Maybe they ought to commission a study on why these people are so stupid.
Mexico was going to legalize drugs but the U.S. threw a fit.
We're the idiots for allowing our country to continue this bullsh!t war on drugs.
Pretty much. Legalizing marijuana would solve some of the problems (obviously they would still import other drugs). The lower prices here are for drugs the less problems Mexico will have.

We'd do a better job if our troops were on our own borders and transportation centers instead of invading other countries.
LU; we'd do a better job if Americans were not in love with their drugs to make them happy.
Loa Tzu: Has China hacked Newsvine too? Wow! You guys are just amazing! Hah!

Sorry, the computer's effing up. This was part of a response to another thread.
Execute him.
According to Tom's post, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of executing themselves.
seems the latest Mexican version of the war on drugs is working better than ours.
For all the arrogance we view the country to our south. At least they are waging a war worth fighting, and appear to be making more traction with less resources. Something to think about.
I agree, they are fighting head on and getting more results that us.
I strongly agree with Benet!!
Did he at least have the decency to kill his victims first before dissolving them in acid?
This is a big deal. Good job.
How does one go about getting a "Drug Lord" job?
Do you need to put together a resume and line up references? And is there a good 401K plan?
