My beef with Iran is that it, along with most of the Middle East, is a Theocracy. History has shown that these forms of government do nothing but oppress their citizens. You're drinking kool-aid if you think that Iran will ever be tolerant of us. In Iran the government uses its authority to limit the freedom of the people. The leadership brands dissenters as followers of Satan simply because they wish to be free to make their own way in life. I would just like to add that many articles over the last several years indicated that the Iranian government or their henchmen/guard are involved in much of the IED production that has been used against our troops in Iraq or so the articles indicate, and much of the Basra problems in the past were instigated by their agents in Iraq. I made a study of American war deaths over the last 96 years, and the results were interesting. These wars included World War 1, World War 2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1, Iraq 2, and Afghanistan. Each party had control of the Presidency for 48 of those 96 years, yet over 96% of the 635,000 American war deaths were incurred under Democratic Presidents. This begs the question;

Are Republicans more effective at PREVENTING wars, and are Democratic Presidents more naïve and dangerous in their foreign policies?

Regarding the so called government supported rallies. I can't help but wonder for each of those rallies how many of Ahmanutjob's secret and plainclothes police were in among the crowds to make sure that the proper "revolutionary" and anti-American spirit was shown? Knowing that they might have someone standing next to them that could make them or their family be tortured, killed, or vanish would probably be added incentive.

Governments such as Iran, force, threaten the citizens to get out there and show solidarity. None of them believe their leaders continual rhetoric and show of violence.

And acorn did nothing illegal taking people to the polls who didn't otherwise have a ride. They are under investigation for something else totally different. Sounds like the "Tea Party" we had in our area a while back. Most were not from our area, some were political appointments that were taking personal days, and several were candidates running for office.

They were yelling down anyone that would ask a question that would require an answer, and shouting just vote no.

When the circus was over they loaded them back on the buses with out of State plates and they were gone. The only thing left was the mess they didn't bother to clean up.

I believe where the hatred should be referred to is Iranian Government. But on another note, why should anyone believe what the media tells you? well the consequences of this hate is disastrous ..remember united stated had only problems with saddam hussain's government , but you can see what happened next..millions of civilian died , many of them indeed hated saddam but they were punished for nothing, also u.s engaged with government only but war claimed many more which are not involved in it too.. i believe people of iran can deal with their problems , they can protest or fight..but it is better than external war onto them! no one want interference of any other other country , specially when it is muslim country where america is not so popular ..the after effects will be worst!
