they should have taken him in for questioning as soon as his online posts were discovered. the gov't invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in schooling this scum bag and then he says thankyou by murdering his own. the death sentence is too good for this scumbag.

yes, too good, because it takes an executive order to fulfill the death sentence of anyone on military death row...last one was in 1961

Can you just imagine if during World War II there was a psychiatrist major in the military names Hans Schmidt whose parents came from Berlin and the whole family were Nazi sympathizers. Their son was a member of the German American Bund but he joined the U.S. military even though his parents were not too happy. The U.S. goes to war with the Nazis, and this poor fellow is harassed because of his Nazi leanings; and he dreads being sent over to Germany. Meanwhile, soldiers with post traumatic stress come to see him and are probably not too comfortable talking to a German after having a horrific time fighting Germans. One fine day this fellow flips out and shoots up the place. What is wrong with this picture? The idea of this being possible in WWII is laughable. We did not trust Nazis then, but then we were a rising world power who knew our friends from our enemies and had a little common sense, both Republicans and Democrats. Fast forward to today, we don't know friend from enemy anymore, even when they repeatedly blow us up or shoot us. We should not give Muslims any more quarter than we gave Nazis back then.

Hasan's full name in muslim means "mighty fishy". The guy got a case of the Ain'ts and was looking for a way to get out of that deployment order and since the army wouldn't accommodate him he made all the wrong choices.

Our Newly Selected made all the wrong choices again by putting the incident at Ft. Hood second to his glorious announcement about that useless health bill, that showed us all what he is made of and I suspect it really endeared him to the troops..... What a maroon!

You FOX tongue waggers out there, turn up the Looney Tunes for the Boy so he can hear better.

You Muslim haters have the most asinine and racist comments. The problem here is the ridiculous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bring our damn troops home!

First off does anyone in the government or military learn the lessons of war anymore? The Soviets had similar issues in Afghanistan. It got so bad for them that they stopped sending Muslim troops to the country. Now, you would think someone in the US military would understand the potential problem and the government would NOT force Muslims to fight over there. Send them to Alaska if they don't want to go.

The man was a Major! That means hes been doing a pretty damn good job for more than a few years in the Army. Now, my heart aches for those troopers and their families killed and wounded in this horrible attack.

But you will never change Islam. It is what it is, its going to stay that way and it isn't going to moderate. We should be big enough people to understand their culture and develop peaceful ways to coexist with it.

Every action has a reaction.

To The Devil, get your head out of your but and wake up. This is not a war against Muslims. Its a war against a crime organization that uses Islam as leverage and moral positioning to it's own ends. As for Islam, my suspicion is that it's global image is never going to recover from all this bad press. If your not making anybody's life better, then the faster it fades away the better off we all will be.

This has nothing to do with politics, this is about a wacko, it is surely not Obama's fault. I knew the right would jump all over this and just turn that hatemongering up to level ten. Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and Scarborough are going to do whatever they can right now to blame this on Obama.

This has nothing to do with politics this is about a wacko. Just because he has a foreign sounding name or is a Muslim means jack, there are plenty of white wackos in this country that most likely get a lot less press. This is just something for the right to use to try to get rid of Obama.

As far as I am concerned Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan just needs a bullet in his head. The military is a dangerous place period whether you are at war or not. Why? because even if you are on a base over here there are too many guns laying around. You combine that with people's nature to make fun of one another and you have a deadly combination.

This is just another reason why we need to end these damn wars and bring our boys and girls home WWII style. And let's not forget who started all these wars in the first place. The right!!!

The Right don't have the right in 2010!

The apologists are out in force...setting up this guys defence, making him the victim. My question is, will Obama take a page out of the Clinton/JanetReno playbook and call this a "law enforcement" incident and turn over the investigation to the Justice Department and Eric (Reno lapdog)Holder ?? This mass murdered traitor was an Officer in the U.S. Army. The Army should administer justice at the end of a rope. They should have let this POS bleed out and die. Now we will be hearing of all the proceedings for years to come. I fear true justice will never be served.

I come from a Palestinian family and had a cousin who was a Marine. He kept hearing his superiors talk smack about Palestinians for the longest time and one day my cousin couldn't hold it back anymore and told his superiors what's what.

He was immidiatly discharged.

I never understood why my cousin was allowed to enlist in the Marines in the first place. I mean, nevermind Iraq. Witness the horrors of Palestine and what Israel is doing there.

In our case Israel has confiscated some of our land, Jewish settlers keep uprooting many of our olive trees, and members of my family have been expelled by Israel and not allowed to live in the village they were born and raised.

In other words, this conflict has become personal for us.

Are there Palestinians who don't care about any of that? Sure, but they're few and far between.

My advice to the armed forces is to identify Palestinian-Americans in their ranks and make sure they either don't have a connection to where they came from, or at least make sure they have no feelings for it.

And if that's not possible, then military folks should be careful what they say about Palestinians and understand there are two sides to every story.

PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein: "The Palestinian people does not exist"
Way back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here's what he said:

The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.

Here is a perfect example of what happens when you start going after your own people. When a Nation begins to investigate its people in the field for what they believe to be "Horrible questioning tactics" and all the other crap this administration has gone after its own in the field for. KNOWING what a person may be up to may not get the attention it need because those who know are afraid to say a word. I can just see if the people who knew of the posts this Muslim Kook made on-line would have came forward and said anything under this "WITCH HUNT ADMINISTRATION".... they would have been dragged through the dirt by every Liberal gut sucker there is. They would have been shown as Bigot and racist instead of American protecting American from a religion that has it out for us.

I have been there... I have seen what these people are capable of and I know the HATE they have and it has NOTHING to do with what we have or have not done... as all the Progressive/Liberal guilt mongers seem to assert. These people have a abhorrence of what the West stands for... and tie us directly to whom they absolutely despise the most... THE JEWS... and as long as that is the case... as long as they are the way they are... apologizing, bowing to their KINGS and all the other non effective crap this administration has done so far is USELESS. You are talking to robots in many cases. Many of those who blow themselves up have been set to the task through years of brain washing and hate indoctrination. You know... the same kind of young people indoctrination this current administration seems to adhere to. With little song about how Obama will save the world.... well... these people start young telling these people that blowing themselves up and taking a few Jews or Americans is a great thing.

Better get your head gear straped on straight Liberal Trash. The enemy we face has nothing for "YOUR BOY" and has nothing for you either. I tell you what... You Liberals keep believing Kieth Oberman and CNN and CSNBC about what the REAL DEAL is... I will believe my own experience and the experience of the 20 or so friends, close friends I have still rotating in and out of that @!$%# hole these animals breed in. They tell me they want to kill YOU and ME... I believe them because that was how they felt in my 3 deployments.

WAKE UP OBAMA!!!... STOP COMING AFTER YOUR OWN AND GO AFTER THOSE WHO WANT US DEAD......IDIOT ....

I am not ignorant of Islam... I have been shot at, nearly blown up (4 times) and have had to smoke a whole bunch of your so called "peace loving Muslims" who were attempting to get a move on our POS....

You can hang all that ... "you have no idea about Islam" crap right out the car window and let er fly.

Here is the truth... Muslims that have been indoctrinated to hate the west will kill you if told to by there religious leaders... period... been there... seen that.

Muslims who have been indoctrinated and trained by the radicals will befriend you to get as close to as many as possible for possible bomb work... been there... seen that.

You know... instead of telling you and wasting my time about explaining it to you... Why don't you go clean up a murder bomber site. Yeah... big fun... The flesh of those who were the closest Rip's off the bone and sticks to walls and other vertical objects like wet toilet paper... big fun scraping that @!$%# up. The others who are not in the blast zone (about 10 meters out)... they get killed by the shrapnel... some even die when the bones of those closest fly through their body's like the nails and bearings they use... make for great identification of the dead... you know... when two or three people are all smashed together by the murder bombers explosion... tell me... can you keep a straight face when YOU have to tell a guy you loved that was literally vaporized in front of you... can you tell HIS Mom and Dad that he was a real good soldier and did his job... when you know all he was doing was taking a piss and stepped into an IED blast and was blown to BITS... don't tell me about PEACEFUL MUSLIMS ...Mother******!!!! I have seen all the MUSLIM PEACE I can manage for a damn life time.....

Well, then DOCTOR Hasan, the solution to that problem is simple: do not reenlist. Didja ever think of that, brainiac? As for being afraid of being deployed to Iraq, you are a doctor for Pete's sake, and a psychiatrist at that. At worst you would be at a hospital in a highly guarded compound. Physician, heal thyself, you nutso POS. Brian

I totally agree with some reservations. There are Muslims who are totally peaceful and serve our country with honor and total loyalty. This man was obviously a traitor from day one and the army psychiatrists should have identified him as such. Actually, I'd be surprised if the families of the killed soldiers don't sue the govt for allowing such a man to serve in our armed forces.

Don't make any mistakes about my feelings. I'm totally heartbroken that these young people were killed by this traitor. However, I am more upset with the army for allowing such a nut case to serve. There should not be political correctness in enlistment or recruitment of people into our armed forces. Every person's loyalty to America should be rigorously tested and anything that would give anyone pause as to his or her loyalty should be shown the door.

From the little I read about this man, he belonged on a watch list that Homeland Security keeps on Americans thought to be leaning towards treason along with his entire family.

I think that Muslims living in America should be policing their own people and report anyone amongst them who is leaning towards treason. Until that happens, we will continue to see tragedies such as these because any attempt at policing Muslims is met with cries of profiling and being anti-Islam. WE should stop being intimidated by such claims and do our job at protecting America. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to report anyone whether he or she be a Muslim, a Jew, a Pink with polka dots person to Homeland Security if I thought that a terrorist attack against my country or my fellow citizens were being planned. Unfortunately, this is not true in the Muslim community. They close ranks and the result is what we have at Fort Hood happening.

Is there any doubt now that the Muslims are at war with us? When do we wake up as a country to see this?

Like he says Muslims are indoctrinated to hate westerners from birth, hard line Republicans are indoctrinated to hate non-Republicans from birth. I keep wondering why we're deploying more soldiers to Iraq if we're pulling out.........didn't Obama promise to bring our troops home? I too was also somewhat uncomfortable about being deployed, not knowing if it were going to be the last time my wife and my 8 year old son, my Mom and Dad, my brothers and sisters. My family lived through this war three times as I pulled three tours (One to Iraq and two tours to Afghanistan/Pakistan border region --- Marine Force Recon) with my longest tour being 18 months.

My point is -- no one wants to go to war, however, this is what you signed up for and trained to do, to serve and protect.

Swift and immediate action is the only action that should be handed down. Hasan doesn't deserve another breath that we fought for him to breathe........

May God be with the families and RIP to our fallen soldiers.

When will we learn NOT to place people with dubious allegiences into positions in our government or military? Could he have done this because he's a muslim...OF COURSE!

Remember the Chinese grad student working at the Los Alamos National Lab who disappeared along with secret information from a computer hard-drive and took it back to China?

How about the spy cases like Jonathan pollard where American-Israelis stole sensitive national security information and sent it to Israel (our ally?!?)

How about the black american muslim convert that tossed the frag grenade into the tent of fellow US soldiers early in the Iraq war?

None of these cases would shock or surprise the informed, except for the fact that they KEEP HAPPENING!

Wake up people! If we don't protect our country and stop being such a bunch of liberal bed wetters, we will lose it!

Esam, I want you to understand that the Military does not discriminate against race, creed, religion, or sex when someone volunteers to serve. That is why your cousin was allowed to serve. (Take a look back at WWII when we had many Japanese American's that gave their lives for the US. and were treated like crap.) Obviously, this guy has issues that are beyond just being Muslim. Should Homeland Security been all over this guy, Me thinks, YES!

The one thing we have to be careful, and I can see it building in just this one blog, is the evil eyes automatically going toward one group. (I am, by the way, a white, Christian but served 20 years in the Army Infantry)

To the wendywiesanthal 1 chick, if Bush had not taken the fight to them, you would be watching for them in your back yard. It is cowardly imbeciles like you that keep the evil ones fighting. If that happened, you would blame him for not doing anything. You need to get out of your cozy living room, put the Oreo's down, and go visit one of these countries and see what guys like Derek and me have seen.

Derek is also right. Many of the people that we are trying to help are taught to hate us. I've seen many of the things he has, and it is dispicable. Makes you wonder if it's worth it. In the end you will see, it is. Remember, Freedom, TRUE FREEDOM is not free and many times comes at a very expensive cost.

All the danger signs but no response. Why...we'll the guy is Muslim so we can't possible check him out. It might 'offend' the Muslim community. I fully agree that we have large numbers of Muslims in America who live a good life, like the US, and integrate into society. However, there is a group of Muslims who want to hurt the US in anyway they can. Why is it that most of the destruction; killings, ect come from the Muslim community across the world. Where are the 'so-called' Muslims who stand up and condemn this type of radical religion?

This merely confirms my long held belief that most people are drawn to study psychology and to a lesser extent psychiatry in the hope of understanding their own personal demons. Many of these people seem to me to be either batty as heck, or having a personal identity that places them outside the mainstream. This seems to have been a case of the latter. The dichotomy of his ethnic background and the unique stress of his job eventually caused a breakdown in an already flawed self of identity. Classic PTS.

When are we going to realize , this is a holy war for the Muslims, they do not want our western ways; he gave all the signs for anybody to read; looking for a bride, by advertising at his Mosque, putting down Palenstain origin, even tho being born in the U.S., hanging Koran verses on his apartment door in Va. While I don't condone what this man did, I certainly understand why he did it. This man has had to counsel troops who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. During the course of treating patients he had heard numerous awful stories about human rights violations in these wars, especially the criminal invasion and brutal, murderous occupation of Iraq under the baby-killer Bush regime.

The reality is that U.S. Soldiers and Marines have committed numerous atrocities in Iraq, practically every day they've been over there. They've raped and killed Muslim women and children, murdered entire Muslim families, destroyed homes, lives and an entire country based upon the lies of the right-wing, warmongering, redneck Bush reich. Basically the US military is reaping what it has sewn over there for over 6 years now.

This is the ugly truth about these wars, that most Americans don't have the spine to face up to. Hasan, being a Muslim, was rightly offended and deeply hurt by what is happening to his people at the hands of the US war machine. The sooner we get our troops out of Iraq, where they never had any real reason to be in the first place, the better for all.

Of course all you dumbass, racist right-wingers will try to find a way to pin this on Obama, who was not responsible for starting either war. If he were to have pulled out the troops immediately after taking office, you whining cowards would be up in arms about "cut and run" tactics. If he leaves them in, more incidents like this are sure to occur, and you will lay blame at his feet, like your Fox News brain trust tells you to.

My condolences to the families of all those involved, victims and perp.

Empress-409341

Many German Americans fought and died for America during WWI and WWII. Even some that had recently immigrated. And even in the face of distrust and bigotry. So did many Japanese Americans during WWII. The only difference was back then these immigrants were not fully trusted and were put into positions where they were continually watched. Fair or unfair? Not sure. But nothing like what happened today ever happened back then. The other difference? During WWII German Americans and Japanese Americans were not deployed to whichever theatre their family background was from. In other words, German Americans were usually deployed to the Pacific Theatre and Japanese Americans were deployed to the European Theatre. (Google the 100th Battalion for an example.)

In short, we should not try to deploy soldiers of Middle Eastern descent to the Middle East. And if a soldier is of a ethnicity or "faith" of a enemy we're at war with we need to keep a careful eye on them. We did so during both World Wars and it worked. Why aren't we doing that now?

Even so, this Maj. needs to be tried for not only murder and attempted murder but treason a well and pay the full price for his actions.

The media keeps insisting that he did this because he didn't want to be deployed, never mind all of the radical stuff on his computer or the fact that he yelled Muslim rhetoric before the attack. The media will whitewash the real reasons just like they whitewashed the murder of the two military recruiters in Arkansas.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan

Let’s agree that Mr. Hasan, in the beginning, wanted to serve his country and later became disillusioned with the military and United States policy implementation in Iraq and Afghanistan. Let’s also agree that Mr. Hasan became a devote Muslim in the religious sense. Let’s speculate that Mr. Hasan became depressed over the condition of returning soldiers he had been counseling. Last let’s say that Mr. Hasan became angry because he felt Iraq and Afghanistan citizens (perhaps Muslims in general) were being treated badly by America.

Even if all this is true, Mr. Hasan had no justification for his actions. He acted with criminal intent and took innocent lives to cool the fear, loathing, and anger in his mind. He acted like an angry coward that has no business being around other Humans. He set the cause of Muslims in America back years. There is only one place for Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan and it’s certainly not with Allah.

The difference between then and today is political correctness. It's crap and we're fools for allowing it to continue.

The government didn't open an investigation because they didn't want to be accused of being racist. One question - if the typical white army guy had posted things on the internet of this nature and had said the things this Major said, do you think the government would have waited to open an investigation? I think not.

Maybe he was harassed but not for simply being a Muslim. It noteworthy that he would audaciously wear the disgusting full robe Muslim garp on the base and into the convenient store, etc...
This is too much to handle and very confusing for soldiers who just returned from places that the enemy looked that way!
Then they were supposed to turn around and receive psychological help and treatment from this guy they just saw in Muslim garp... It's understandable why he was harassed...The soldiers obviously felt insulted and challenged by Hasan's audacity and lack of sensitivity. The Army is full of Muslims from Asian and Mideastern decent who serve every day without being harassed and enjoy full inclusion and commoradery from their fellow soldiers.

I totally agree with Charles Turner...

This man was an open book so to speak...he used his own name to express his anti-democratic views against a country and a branch of service that went out on a limb financially to help him achieve "the American dream" Why wasn't the CIA or FBI on their job investing him???/

Sadly many innocent people had to die, because this bastard didn't want to go to Iraq or Afghanistan and "kill" his "brothers" but instead chose to kill those who gave him a "home" and the "freedom" to live like a human being. ~sheeze~

While the drug problem is a big one here in this country, it's not the small time street dealers that we should be concerned about....they don't want anything in life, except holding up a street corner and claiming it as "territory" however, people like Hasan "want America!" and they will try to get it at whatever cost.

Sadly some can't see that, they just throw their arms wide open to any of them who come here and then offer them the world. Wake up America! Open your eyes, they will be as numerous here as they are in the United Kingdom.

Also, if I were to go to any Muslim country, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and act like Hasan, wearing western or Christian garb on their military bases and wanting to be known as a full blown Christian, with an in "your face" attitude, I'd get much more than harassment, I would be called an infedile and beheaded in short order!
The same Muslims then would shout "harassment" in they came to the west and got strange looks or comments for acting totally out of place and bullishly disrespectful

YOU people are truly pathetic! How you can - in any way - try to justify the murderous actions of some radical Islamist nutjob is completely beyond those of us with a functioning, intelligent brain! Why don't you sit by Hasan's bedside and wipe his brow while he recovers...you could read from the Koran while you're at it! Personally, I am so angry with this prick, I'd prefer to finish him off!

And Julian in Dallas...you need a history lesson - big time!

Don't you remember how the Dems and Reps both voted in favor of going into Iraq? The days of blaming Bush for everything and calling anyone who doesn't agree with Obama a right-winger and/or racist ARE OVER!! Move On!! Grow Up!

Why do all these bleeding hearts forget (or have no clue) that terrorism against the US started long before Bush took office...why don't you go do some research before you start spewing sympathies for radical lunatics! Your selective memory is showing!

The reality is that U.S. Soldiers and Marines have committed numerous atrocities in Iraq, practically every day they've been over there

Are you for real???? Yes there are 'atrocities' in any war, but why do you only see them one-sided? There have been far more atrocities committed by islamist radicals, against our service men and women, as well as their own civilian population! We are busy now, making nice and kissing ass with these people while they are busy making IEDs and ambushing troops! We whine about waterboarding a known terrorist, while they behead people and videotape it for the world to see! You are friggin delusional if you believe all the garbage you posted!

While I may not be PC or sympathetic, I'm going to speak the truth and some of the posters above might have to cover their eyes because the truth is way toooooo baaad for them to handle. You can continue to deny the facts all you want and perhaps one day, you will be wearing the turban and reading from the Koran too.

Hasan, as a shrink, likely heard some details of war via his PTSD patients and it probably pissed him right off...because he sympathized with the enemy and because his job was to help those he felt were his enemy...US soldiers. For the loons who think Hasan suffered from PTSD...hello...he was never deployed and I'd imagine yelling "allah" before shooting unarmed victims sort of puts that theory to rest anyway. This guy didn't want to be deployed because he probably knew his true loyalties - to islamist radicals - would be discovered, beyond any reasonable doubt...!

Derek-V

I salute you, sir, for you service and willingness to perform the ugly tasks of war that many of the pussies posting on here could not even imagine...you know the type...who vomit in their mouths each time they change their kid's poopy diaper. It's too bad, really, that the uneducated don't have the insight to understand that the enemy we are dealing with is not just, noble, loyal, patriotic, remorseful, compassionate or forgiving...only brutal in furthering their own cause which, apparently, 'other' muslims don't agree with.....pfft!

It was awful what happened, but I have been harassed myself with EEOC complaints in tow, these things happen all the time, and no one wants to do anything about it, until it is too late, the law is suppose to help people like this and all the victims involved,a person can take only so much,we had a shooting at a major corporation that I worked for with deaths also involved, and they usually take it out on the victims before they do anything about it, so much in my case they even let the town take it out on my family ,for me just filing an EEOC complaint, Mine was a medical, which involved the major waterways where I lived, hopefully now when people are being harrassed, they will take these, things seriously, and not try to cover it up for their friends and buddies, mine started way back in 1998, so until all information is out, I will not jump to judgement what made this man finally reach his breaking point

This is a perfect example why all the ragheads need to be deported from this country if we are going to fight a war with them. How stupid a country are we to fight against them and let the wonder aroud free with our civilians. We were not happy just letting them in to destroy our way of living we had to let them into our military. How many of there ragheads are within reaching distance of our nuclear weapons? We have become a nation of weak and stupid people who continue to elect even weaker and stupider criminals who are selling our country peice by peice every day. The US was founded because of religious freedom.. that right there should be enough to stop the bull.

Hitler didnt like the Jews -- see what he did....

WW2 when Japan bombed pearl and brought the US into WW2, we created camps for all Japenese Americans. This didnt turn out well for us either.

You CANNOT fault everyone of a religion based on a radical sect. Just like you Cannot go and investigate all Muslims because that goes against the very principals of this country. We were founded on religious freedoms.

From the bottom of my heart... THANK YOU to ALL of you who have served in our military. Our freedom rests on your shoulders.... Thank you.

I try my hardest to always love my fellow man. It grows increasingly difficult to love Muslims. They are the most wanting people I have ever met. Dealing with them is like dealing with little children. They have a distorted sense of right and wrong. They are the easiest to insult, and the fastest to demand an apology. They have the most distorted view of "what is fair", and "what is theirs". They believe anywhere they have lived and built a temple is Muslim land forever. I do not know if it is their customs that make them this way, or their religion. But, I do know Islam is a religion of WAR, not of peace. Do not kid yourself or believe the lie that they are peaceful. They want Islam to become the religion of the world, and they will do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal. Everywhere they live in numbers they begin their unrest and spread their religion through intimidation and fear.

I have friends that worked in Saudi Arabia and UAE mostly, but all over the Middle East and they have all told me the same thing. The Muslim people they have met are the kindest, most hospitable, most generous, most loving people they have ever met... and then one day they are not. They may kill another Muslim from another tribe for doing nothing more than just passing through their region. World War is coming some day not in the distant future. None of us can avoid it. It will be between the Muslims of the world... and those that are not Muslim. First Israel will perish... then the Apocalypse.

Chris-886030 The military is a dangerous place period whether you are at war or not. Why? because even if you are on a base over here there are too many guns laying around. You combine that with people's nature to make fun of one another and you have a deadly combination.

Leave it to a lib to bring up the Gun debate. FYI, if those Soldiers in that hall were toting guns or guns were "just lying around", the gunman wouldn't have gotten off more than one shot and he certainly wouldn't be laying in a Hospital is "stable" condition. It happened to be a CIVILIAN police officer who shot the guy before he lost his own life.

There are more shootings that happen each day in the civilian world of which most are criminals who STEAL guns, not buy them lawfully. The Military bases don't come anywhere near to those shooting. Tell us all the last time you have heard of a mass shooting on a Military base in the US? Compare that to Virginia Techs mass shooting, Columbine Mass Shooting, Atlanta Georgia mass shooting, Ft Worth TX mass Shooting, Washington area mass shootings, and the lists go on and on for the civilian world and you can educated yourself on crimes such as this at: http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/04/04/2534869.htm

Opinions are good, but please do yourself a favor and stop with the un-informed talking points. Suggest instead you look up crime stats on Military Bases. And remember, it's not the Military Bases you see on the news each and every night. The civilian world could learn a lot about how to stop and/or handle crime from our Military.

We did not trust Nazis then, but then we were a rising world power who knew our friends from our enemies and had a little common sense, both Republicans and Democrats. Fast forward to today, we don't know friend from enemy anymore, even when they repeatedly blow us up or shoot us.

We cannot tell our friends from our enemies because we're not using common sense to identify them with. Popular sovereignty has been tossed out the window in exchange for the rights of an invidual or a smaller group of people at the expense of the whole country.

Profiling at airports is a perfect example; it's been frowned upon and fought by civil rights groups so as not to offend, so the muslim that is bent on blowing people up (as 99.9% of terrorists have proven to be muslim) is passed by randomly while the little old gramma is strip searched.

When little old grammas consistently prove to be bent on destroying western civilization, we need to be picking them specifically out of a crowd and giving them special attention; however at this point in time they're only guilty of baking cookies.

This is just one example of the repurcussions of goeing against the Social Contract that was deemed critical to a government successfully protecting and working for it's citizens when America was founded.

And all for the sake of being politically correct.

      Article states,

"But Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the 39-year-old man accused of Thursday’s mass shooting at Fort Hood, Tex., started having second thoughts about his military career a few years ago after other soldiers harassed him for being a Muslim, he told relatives in Virginia."

That should more acurately read, "started having second thoughts about his military career after his education and medical schooling was all completed at the expense of the United States Government." So we trained this monster in the specialty of treatment of post traumatic stress syndrome, and he used that knowledge to go out and create terror, death and panic that will leave so many in our military families, and our citizens... struggling with post traumatic stress syndrome, as well as facing the horror of the senseless death of loved ones. Cowards don't come much larger than that...and hypocrites don't come much more deceptive than that...and evil doesn't work much more cunningly than that. If this guy even thought in his nonsensical, mean spirited mind that he had experienced some "harrassment for being a muslim", a look at his government sponsored medical degree and position of Officer in the US military could have brought him back to reality. In a twisted way, this guy used all we gave him and taught him...to turn and use that same education to hurt us...our country, and attempt to remove our ability to "feel safe", in a very planned and manipulated way. A twisted way of trying to inflict even greater pain through this cowardly and evil act, in my opinion. Coward Nidal Malik Hasan has displayed terroism of the highest form, in my opinion, and I can only pray that he is held accountable for the purposeful, premeditated murder and harm he has perpetrated against our entire humanity.

Open your eyes!!! I am not saying there is not the possiblility that the military could have intervened to remove this coward from his position earlier...of course that would have probably resulted in another discrimination law suit...right? Wouldn't want to be found guilty of "discrimination due to his muslim beliefs" and end up paying hefty legal awards and further promotions to this monster... while trying to protect the rest of the citizens. Get real...this coward has no excuses...our system of protecting the rights of minorities sometimes works against our ability to timely prevent tragedies such as this. If his "lines got crossed" as you put it, why didn't he check himself into the mental ward...or plan his own death, rather than inflicting chaos, panic, and death upon other innocents? He is a calculating murderer who most likely made up his previous charges of discrimination in a failed attempt to mislead and steal more money from the government who had just financed his education...while breaking his promise of service when it was time to pay back for all he took from this country and it's taxpayers. As I said, hypocrites don't come much more deceptive than this monster.

It's amazing that this murderer's supporters are busy excusing his actions by saying that he was harassed in the army because of his religion. Give me a break!

My uncle, a Jew, put himself through college by working during the day at whatever jobs he could find. At one of the jobs that he held, someone enjoyed putting a swastika on his desk every morning. My uncle didn't pick up a gun and shoot everyone in the office. He quit and found another job. That's what normal people would do.

If this murderer was being harassed because of his religion, then just resign your commission and become a civilian. That would have been the end of it.

Posters making excuses for this despicable murderer should be ashamed of themselves.

Poor baby, "mortified" enough to kill 14 people, including the Sgt. Franchesca Velez' unborn chilld! And think, these are the so-called best people the Army has to offer for dealing with the post-combat syndrom casualties! I advise the Army: commission simple Catholic nuns instead of rascals like this one!

Funny, isn't it, that you can serve in the military, and say you don't want to actually "serve", but for goodness sakes you'd better not say you're gay, whether you want to serve or not!

Pat, pat, tuck, tuck, MSNBC does its ususal job of making excuses (or at least making way for a "softer feeling" about this man and his family-just because they are muslim) when, in fact, he is a typical Islamic nut case. If this were a "Christian" man who had shot and killed 12 people, wounded 31 +, he (and probably the family- whether educated or not) would have been raked over the coals by NBC and then some! "Woe to them that call evil good and good evil." When will NBC ever learn!

There are laws in the military that wil take care of prosecuting this man and the civilian courts can do nothing about it unless the military abdicates their right to try him. There are unasnwered questions still to be answered. Was the reports of his death incorrect because the miltary gave out the wrong information? Was he going to be deployed or was that also incorrect? Was he the person who was posting the pro radical islam messages? Right now all of us do not know what transpired in this case and we should all step back and wait until all the information is in before spouting off This was a major trajedy and the first order of business should be thoughts for the families of the people killed and wounded not how you can use the incodent to further your trolling against the present administration or their policies.

I agree about placing any blame on the administration and I'm not an Obama supporter. Obama has nothing to do with this. This is a traitor who needs to be dealt with and the armed forces better start profiling every single soldier in our service before another such tragedy happens. Very obviously, the army is doing a poor job of scrutinizing the enlistees. Traitors or possible traitors should not be given guns and asked to serve a country that they very obviously hate.

Though in principle Iraq is pretty safe now, and even if orders were recut for Afghanistan, it's unlikely he would ever see combat. What's there to worry about?

koobee, I doubt it very much whether he would have to shoot anyone. He is a doctor. He would have been working in a safe hospital seeing soldiers with Post Trumatic Syndrom.

I guess he was afraid of being seen by Moslims helping the Americans. If you read the article his cousin said that he wanted to joint the army to serve this country. Not once was he quotate to serve MY COUNTRY. I wonder why?

I am sorry, but I truely feel that all Moslems in this country should be closely monitored if they are not already being so. It is smart to hold your friends close to you and your enemies or potential enemies even closer. I am sure that someone of the Moslem faith will protest to this statement, however if the circumstances were reversed they would have put us in concentration camps. Many if not all Moslem countries are not tolerant of Americans or our Christian religion. They do not have the same freedom we have here. They try to control their people.

More info will come out.  What's your take, logdump? So far all you've done is tell everyone else that they're wrong.

I've heard you say in the past Bush was responsible for this or that because he was commander in chief or because he had the final say so on a matter.

Isn't Obama the commander in chief of armed forces?  Did this happen within the armed forces?  Does he have final say so over FBI? Didn't article say FBI had reviewed emails that could have been from Hasan? Why didn't Obama tell FBI to launch full investigation?

Can't have it both ways, dump. If you're going to blame everything that happened under Bush's watch on Bush, you have to do the same with Obama. After all, haven't you said Obama is SO much smarter than Bush?

In response to "read the article", it didn't provide a whole lot of information. It just left more room for speculation.

I've wondered why he attacked recruits. Perhaps he felt they were going overseas to Iraq, and thus wanted to kill them before they went over?

I wonder how much harassment he faced in the military...I'm sure in the military harassment is "normal" as Sanescience implies, but I suppose we'll never know until we pretend to convert to Islam and change our name to include Muhammad, Ali, Hasan or Hussein and see what happens.

                                    logdump and elchiparoso,

The two of you have obviously never been to the military before. The fact that this man is a doctor, does not mean he would not see combat. Moreover, his status as a doctor would not mean squat to an Iraqi sniper, or suicide bomber, or an IED. This is not a conventional war, it's an assymetric war where there are no front lines and the enemy cannot be seen. Remember the entire population of Iraq is opposed to our troops being on their soil killing their citizens. They do not make a distinction between officers, doctors, contractors, privates, ect. In their minds anyone wearing a US military uniform is the occupier/enemy and fair game. Also, IED's do not discriminate between combatants and non-combatants.

If you don't believe me, go ahead and sign up boys.

I'm sure the idea of having your school paid for and serving your country might be an attractive concept but really, being in the military should have no surprises about whether or not you'll fight overseas. Peace never lasts, and Hasan should have known there would be every chance he would face this. Once you're in the military, you're in until they say you're out. At least that's my understanding of it.

You said it Dragonheart. I served 8 years in the Army, I did not sign up for the G.I. Bill. So I received NO education benefits. You serve your country, and die for your country. You're in the armed forces, you might have to be deployed one day. You don't join for college.

I was deployed for Desert shield and desert storm, I went with no regrets.

That's all I have to say, goodbye.

Not that Stupid, is absolutely right. The G.I. Bill is not what it used to be and has not been for sometime. You have to sign up for them, a significant portion is taken out of your paycheck to pay for it and really, it is far, far from a free ride. The benefits essentially pay for books and tuition and not living expenses. I believe that fighting and dying, or even just willing to do so, is payment enough for education benefits. That was the idea behind the original bill. The G.I. Bill signed into law in 1948, made a higher education possible for millions of Americans, greatly improving our lives and that of our nation. I don't begrudge one cent going to the education of military veterans.

This guy just flipped his wig! HE was a coward and i agree with whoever said he did not want to go overseas because he did not want his fellow scum bag muslims to see him helping us. One last thing. Thank you guys and girls in this thread, we are Americans.

He may have been a "doctor", and an officer. That means he probably would not be on the front lines, he would not be carrying an M-16. He would have a .45 pistol just in case. He would have most likely been in the rear helping wounded soldiers. As an officer, he is a disgrace!

Anyone seen MASH? It was a comedy based on the Korean war. The Doctors did not like the war, BUT they did help every person that needed it.

I'm not saying that the G.I. Bill is not a good thing it worked great for armygurl and she understood the responsibly, it's great for most. I just didn't need it.

Julian in Dallas Comment collapsed by the community

He can post this and the moderators say nothing. When this whole thing first happened, I posted that I thought it might be a Muslim doing the attacking, and my comment was deleted, and I was publicly warned by moderator "Calvin Tang" that I was skating on very thin ice.

The double standard is grotesque on this site. It does little more than pertuate a left wing victim/ entitlement mentality.

BTW, I am hard core conservative, and I don't think this guy did this because he was a Muslim, I think he did it because he snapped. I also don't blame Obama or his administration.

                                            Just for Starters,

I contend that it is you who needs the history lesson. Do you not remember that prior to Democrats and Republicans voting for the use of force in Iraq, the baby-killer Bush straight up lied to congress and the American people about WMD's that are nonexistent there to this very day?(except the ones our military has used on the Iraqi people) That was the whole reason they voted to go to war in the first place. My CIC had the brains to actually read the intelligence assessment which was BS and flimsy evidence against Saddam, and subsequently voted against that lie of a war. I will continue to blame Bush for starting this terrible war, all the damage done to our troops' mental health because of it, and the hardships their families will face dealing with them after they've returned home. I will blame Bush for the 1 million dead Iraqi men women and children, 4 million displaced, homeless, and stateless Iraqis due to this travesty. I will blame Bush because in his own words he was "the decider" who decided to put us into an unecessary war, and is the cause of all the subsequent death and violence it has led to, both here in the US and abroad. So you can go ahead and grow up and get over it already.

Before you fix your mouth to say "9/11" like you haters are conditioned to do, please remember that no one in Iraq was responsible for the 9/11 attacks, and none of the 9/11hijackers were from Iraq. They were all Saudi Arabian except for one Jordanian.

When you grow the balls to join the military,(the Marine Corps if you think you're man enough), work your way up to major with a PhD and counsel youngsters who will tell you all the horrors they've experienced, and we'll see what state of mind that leaves you in. Then your opinions will mean squat to me. Till then.....

Also you need to work on your reading comprehension skills a bit. I never tried to justify what this man did. I expressly stated at the beginning of my last post that I did not condone what this man did. Stop assuming and drawing your own conclusions from my words. I mean exactly what I post.

                                            JIM,

First, you need to get a clue and stop assuming shyt too. You have no idea where my heart and loyalties lie, all you know is what I tell you.

I'll call Bush exactly what he is, because he is not deserving of my respect. I was born and raised here in Texas(unlike Bush) and have extensive experience with rednecks, some are my friends, some are not. You can call Obama whatever you want, I'm sure you probrably already refer to him as the N word, like most disgruntled Obama bashers, in the privacy of your own home. However the difference is that unlike a typical N word, Obama is intelligent, educated, articulate, employed, takes care of his family, and doesn't go around blaming White people for everything. How many N words can you say that about? I've been Black all my life and I don't know any.

All of this leads back to the man who started it all....Bush. Take it any way you like it.

Julian, I did serve in the military, and I couldn't care less if you appreciate it or not.

But if they do delete your posts, it won't be because of me. I believe that people should be responsible for what theyh put out there, but I'm not really a tattletale.

By the way, I don't use the "N" word to refer to people, and I certainly wouldn't use that word on our white president.

You should be ashamed of yourself for maligning our troops. Of course, you're able to do that because you are in my country...the land of the free...and your right to say whatever you wish to say is protected. Unlike the countries that you so obviously are enamored with...they would decapitate you if you dared say anything about them...so continue enjoying the freedoms that my country provides you with and continue maligning it at the same time.

I agree that Bush had no right to start this war, nor does Obie have any right to start another in Pakistan or (coming soon) Iran. You need to wake up to the truth! Bush was a puppet following orders, as is your saviour Obama. Most of all Obie has no right to continue the war on our freedoms by throwing out the bill of rights, or the constitution. The Globalists depend on ignorant persons such as yourself to implement their plans to put us all in chains.

If in 30 years Iraq is a successful nation in the tradition of other past defeated "enemies" of America, Julian will be telling everyone that he always supported America in its war to improve human conditions in Iraq.

Only the tip of the ice berg and it's already a complex story. An American Palestinian who was harassed by some soldiers for his Muslim faith? Then, maybe, he turns hostile towards his own comrades - becoming more sympathetic to Islamic extremists (i.e. suicide bombers) plus a mix of pre post traumatic stress over deployment. God knows what was going on in his sick, psychiatric brain - this one's over the top and too tragic to comprehend. More will be revealed. Anybody think he might have posted on newsvine?

It is unnecessary to fan the flames as you do. This is a tragedy, the man is a murderer. President Obama is our president and as such is acting like any CIC would, he is shocked and dismayed.

There is no justification for this crime and those that decide to post anger here against our President are missing the target entirely.

My husband doesn't like it. I don't know anyone who actually wants to be there. But they did their duty. What did he think would happen? That he wouldn't ever have to go?

Are we now supposed to feel sorry for him? He was terrified with the prospect of being deployed in Iraq? So it was nice and cozy when he was in the army, as long as he was here, right? They should court marshall him as soon as he can be tried, and shoot him as a traitor/terrorist.

My husband is being deployed in January and he's due to go to Ft. Hood for the deployment. This makes my stomach turn! Now I not only worry about his deploying but if he's going to get shot by some moron that can't stand the thought of being deployed!!! Get the "f" over it!!! When you serve in the military, that is one of the possibilities. Quit whining and suck it up and do the job!! To all of you that have served and are serving now, I want to thank you and God bless you!!

He is a coward who allied himself with muslim terrorists. He is a US citizen traitor who deserves the death penalty. He should be an example of how the US treats treason. Execution is what he should get. Nicely he is in the hands of the military and hopefully the full weight of the UCMJ (uniform code of military justice) will be used in his execution.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, is a U.S. citizen whose parents are Palestinians from the West Bank, according to the Washington Post

He wrote Allah on his door, according to a neighbor,in Arabic. Allah on the door.

Hasan was put on probation early in his postgraduate work at the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. He was disciplined for proselytizing about his Muslim faith with patients and colleagues, according to the source, who worked with him at the time. NPR

Federal law enforcement officials say the suspected Fort Hood, Texas, shooter had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case.

One of the Web postings that authorities reviewed is a blog that equates suicide bombers with a soldier throwing himself on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades. (more here)

On his blog is a link to an article "Martyrdom in Islam vs Suicide Bombing"

He was happy about the Muslim solider who shot and killed a soldier and wounded another at a Little Rock kMilitary recruiting station. Hasan said Muslims should rise up against the aggressors. Maybe we should have more of these.....strapping bombs on and going into Times Square".

The officials had access to Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's military record. They said he received a poor performance evaluation while at Walter Reed.

They promoted him to major. jihadi Malik should have been removed from military service. Yes the lawsuits would have been flying but so what? Those great Americans would still be alive.

This was "not the act of a crazy". This was not the random act of a nutcase. It was execution style, close range. He shot 44 - 50 rounds - that's a lot of ammunition to come out of those two guns in such a short period of time. This was premeditated. "A deliberate act of execution of the largest army base in America".

Neighbors say he was giving away his possessions this morning and PASSING AWAY QURANS.Newscaster, "he was proud of his religion"

A few things to remember here people:

                                                            1) It is unconfirmed whether or not the shooting suspect was the same person that the feds had investigated for the blog posting about suicide bombings. Nidel Hasan is a very common Arabic name. It is irresponsible at best to assume otherwise at this point.

                                                            2) The currently released information seems to paint the picture that Hasan unstable man that was terrified to be deployed after hearing countless horror stories about the war from return soldiers. There is no hard information at this point that he was in any way associated with any Islamic fundementalist terrorst factions.

Frankly, I am deeply disturbed at the reactions of some people here on Newsvine and the wild generalizations that are being made about Muslims in general. I know a great many Muslims (both American and foreign born) who are all completely normal people and who absolutely codemn the fundimentalists that we are fighting.

I am an athiest myself (and frankly think that organized religion serves little constuctive purpose in modern society), but I have sense enough to know that we, as a nation, CANNOT condem an entire group of people based on their religious beliefs for the acts of a select few.

The inprisonment of innocent Japanese Americans during the second World War was one of the most shameful and dark moments in this history of this country. Let us not forget that so that we do not head down that horrible road again.

KM, the man murdered some of our soldiers and civilians. If he did not want to go to Iraq, he could have chosen to go to jail instead and gotten a court martial. He did not have to do what he did to get out of going overseas. I do not buy that he did not know what he was doing and that he was under lots of pressure.

Regarding your comments about Christians, do you know that in Moslem countrys Christians are being kill and beaten every day, just because they are Christians, for no other reason. The point I am trying to make is that we cannot condemn the earth's 1.5 BILLION Muslims for the acts of fringe fundamentalists. (And at this point, whether the suspect even falls under that category is purely speculation.)

But since you bring it up, why don't you run a Google search on the "Spanish Inquisition" if you want to see some of the things Christians have done to others for not following their faith.

The inprisonment of innocent Japanese Americans during the second World War was one of the most shameful and dark moments in this history of this country. Let us not forget that so that we do not head down that horrible road again.

Until idiots like you learn the difference between a cultural/racist bias (as was the case with the Japanese) and opposition to a religion that openly preaches world domination by the sword (killing non believers), we are destined to be "surprised" at incidents like this. Islam is radical. It's in the Qur'an. Read it. The only non-radical Muslims are the ones who do not truly follow their faith. That's why you never hear Muslims denounce terrorism by quoting the Qur'an. It can't be done.

Yes Bush is an azzhole for going in to Iraq, but that has little to do with Muslims killing people. It's been going on for years and is happening all over the world.

Chas - The Old Testiment of the Bible is filled with passages of God commanding (or approving of) the murder or punishment of "non-believers." The Qur'an does not differ in this regard, but also, like the Bible, preaches love and respect. It all boils down to how they are interpreted.

There are over one and a half billion Muslims alive today that are good people and that try to live everyday in peace and happiness, just like the rest of us. It goes against the very principles that this country was founded on to reject and condemn these people based on the acts of a few.

KM - while there are some Muslims who appear to be normal, it is a challenge to think of them as normal when we hear and see reports of the beheadings, whippings, beatings, killings, and horrible acts in the name of Islam. They should not be proud of their poor record of intolerance toward non-Muslims, children, and women. I believe Dennis Miller in his HBO special taped at Lisner Auditorium years ago at GWU said something like, "It is the rotten millions that make it difficult for the few good."

While there are more than a few good, we do not hear a resounding cry of anger from Muslim masses when the rotten, radical Muslims perpetrate such acts as the Fort Hood killings, beat women, and harm others.

God commanded the earth destroyed because of homosexuality, sodomy, and insulance to him. Yes, he did! But he gave us free will to choose our actions. The people wouldn't repent, hence he flooded and destroyed the world. Allah and Islam is not real. It's a fake, phony form of idolatry. Let's not sugarcoat it. And God will destroy this dump of an earth soon enough again. People won't repent, they despise Christianity. Many have killed in the name of Christianity thru the centuries. This was/is all by design. These were never true Christians, and they will pay dearly.

Agreed. The morning of 9-11, in a San Diego Suburb, there were news reportings of muslims partying in the street in victory over what happened.

That image will stick in my mind for a very, very long time, the same as it will for others who saw it. And it seems as though the Muslim community is doing very little to turn that image around.

The guy kills other soldiers because he is mortified about going to war? Named Hasan? Actually it's an individuals effort at terrosim because he in his mind is now a success to his higher power, rather than the shame of serving against his brothers and their culture. The truth says its time to get the hell out of the middle east and let the rich oil tycoons figure out their next profit jesture on the American People. Just as it was tin mines and rubber plantaions owned by American corporations in Vietnam, its about oild and US greed by corporations to keep it flowing into those American based refineries. What ever the cost.

That the terriorist had made comments about he would not go to Iraq to fight against his people. What I am surprised at is no one from the army was able to take him out, the police had to. Then he was scared to go overseas, plus was maybe traumatized by stories he heard from patients, plus was maybe traumatized by bullying from other soldiers due to his ethnicity.

But there's gotta be something else to this story. I suspect we'll learn more as the week progresses.

If you honestly think that he's Muslim so he hates America and that's all the reason he had for doing this, you need to never reproduce, ever.

I was wondering the same thing, open minded....was he being teased not so much for being a Muslim, but maybe the guy was a complete douche. We all learned this lesson as kids. Teasing takes place with the "ammunition" readily at hand......I wear glasses, and was called "4 eyes", and so forth. If the guy was a jerk, his religion may have been used as a venue to "pick on him"

                                                                        If that's the case, I can't help but think...."What a gutless wonder."

For a physician to take up a weapon and just start shooting people because he didn't want to be deployed makes no sense to me...didn't he concider what the results of these actions might bring about a much harsher penalty.

Poor impulse control, with a side of meglomania anyone?

This rapidly declined into a rampage by several thousand servicemen, who looted the City of Halifax.

House doors were torn from their hinges, women and girls were raped, private property was destroyed or stolen and there was considerable loss of civilian life.

Halligonians have never received an official appology for the rape of their City.

Do you want MSNBC to hold back information, just because YOU don´t like it. Go, to FOXNews where they love gullibles like  you.  What would you rant about , if MSNBC had  said that some of the killed were killed by "friendly fire"? (As FoxNews did...go and read it). This Hassan guy couldn´t take the pressure and cracked...nothing new about that.  It happens in all forms of life and you don´t have to believe in Islam to crack. Look at you...you sound worse than what is repüorted about Hassan. You should  be looked up and a number of people writing their stupid comments here.

I never cracked nor did any of my friends. This guy was back in the states and was told he had to go overseas to a relatively secured zone. He had nothing to " crack " over. He was a Muslim and decided to commit a terrorist attack and kill innocent people for Alley Oop.....or however you spell it. I know how you libs hate the truth, so I apologise in advance for giving you some of it. It must hurt awfully.

"poges" are people who have the safe jobs in the army, the ones that never go outside the wire, the ones that get paid combat pay even though they'll never see combat. he is a psychiatrist, why would they send a psychiatrist out to do the infantry's job? and combat operations are all but over in iraq, we are in a support role now. still not safe, but not as dangerous as it used to be. this guy is just another muslim coward.

The same situation exists now with the Muslims. The religion should be outlawed. Anyone practicing it should be tried and if convicted, jailed.

Most of their religion is radical, and history shows that. I personally wouldn't trust anyone of them. Well the American way of life is to give everyone a fare shake, but with Arabs as a whole are barbarians. They don't even show respect for their wives , religion. You either think their way. or not at all! If you ain't arabic. you are worthless in their eyes! How or why was he ever made an major?

"poges" are people who have the safe jobs in the army, the ones that never go outside the wire, the ones that get paid combat pay even though they'll never see combat. he is a psychiatrist, why would they send a psychiatrist out to do the infantry's job? and combat operations are all but over in iraq, we are in a support role now. still not safe, but not as dangerous as it used to be. this guy is just another muslim coward.

this Major was a psychiatrist ... now how many non-Jews do you know who are psychiatrist ... hell it is a Jewish invented part of the medical profession.

so what is this Muslim Palestinian who has a brother in Jerusalem doing in this American army ... working as a psychiatrist? To hit over 40 people who are running and screaming in all directions is no small feat, especially with just two hand guns. It can be done alright, but a doctor ... doctors are not trained to hit accurately with pistols ... there is something missing from this story.

but for those who seek war with Islam, this simple Manchurian Candidate operation will serve the purpose for them to jump up and play out their supposed patriotism and demand more war. Yet this guy looks to be the perfect example of such an operation ... screw his mind up with psychiatristry and slip him drugs, put two revolvers in his hands and off he goes to meet the evil demons who are torturing him and the Israeli Mossad scores again.

If confronted they use children as shields. They marh around big and brave and run their pie holes but always mask themselves in fear of dicovery. The shoot rockets into towns trying to hit schools and shops but scurry underground like roaches when real military approach. They like to blow things up from hiding but pee their p[ants when faced with an armed adversary. They only face conflict when hiding behind women and kids as shields. I think they wear the towels on their heads so they always have something to wipe their crying with. How many more of these before people wake up and see it...
