God bless her quick reaction in the face of an impending tragedy. Rest in peace, heroine! Because of your actions, many families have been spared the grief your family now suffers.
Our hearts are full here in Utah for this brave teacher. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." I hope and pray that her family, her friends, and her students will be comforted.
Teachers are often unsung heroes. They aren't always called upon to save the lives of a bus-load of students, but we entrust them with the teaching of our future leaders. For that alone, we should be proud of them.
She died in a very noble manner and will be forever engraved in the minds of those effected. Continuing with the performance is a great idea; it's a perfect way to pay tribute to her kind soul.
RIP to those who die while trying to save others. Definately the most tragic of all deaths in my opinion.
Wow, this is so sad, I hope that this woman did not die in vain, and that the bus drver is not found guilty of any wrong doing........ God bless her family, her students and community for they have lost a wonderful and instrumental person in their lives.
I give her an A for effort and an F for execution...........She OVER CORRECTED WITHOUT BEING IN THE DRIVERS SEAT!!!! This would have put forces on her that would have made things worse!!!!!! Have you ever tried adjusting your seat while braking????? I guarantee you'll never do it again and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about....In REALITY she probably caused the rollover........She should have slammed on the brakes implanting/pinning herself to them and left the steering wheel alone!!!!!
How in the world do you know what happened on that bus? Where you on it? Maybe she had to steer it away from on-coming traffic or maybe she had to make a sharp turn to avoid going down a steep hill or into some trees. To make judgements like you did without knowing all of the facts is idiotic and disrespectful. I give you a F for compassion and a F for execusion!
OOPS! I guess I need to learn how to proof read better - or spell better! I meant 'execution'. Guess I get a F for spelling! That's why I am a numbers guy!
I guess there will always be a 'robert' in the world to remind us of what a truly unhappy and unsensitive know-it-all is. I am glad I have compassion still, just as others of you have shown in your comments. So take comfort in knowing that you are not a 'robert' and continue on with your life of passion and love for others (even if they might be a 'robert') and maybe someday 'robert' will grow up, at this point it's highly unlikely, but there is always hope! Good luck 'robert' -- you really do need it!!
Oh, and just for 'roberts' sake, having a "passion" for life means you will always want the good things in life, whether for yourself or others. This is the joy in living!!
You all are morons.......First.....The bus "veered" off the interstate and rolled......That tells you monkeys that STEERING was the cause of the rollover . Overcorection in an attempt to get back on the road is "usually "what happens....Second, her family said that" her grabbing the wheel probably made the accident "less" worse."....HER FAMILY not a highway patrolman or investigator...I think her family is NOT an expert on vehicle accidents.....Third, you have no idea what professions or experience I have.......Learn a little about crash scene investgation and try to actually READ the article before you open your uneducated traps.....
RIP.

At last, someone to be proud of. A brave and unselfish young woman. May she rest in peace.

This is sad. I wish her and her family peace.
Peace be with the family and students of this truly positive role model!
How sad and tragic....another angel in God's care! May she rest in peace!
"The Greatest Generation'" is an an approptiate name for a band in this competion because of the amount of noise they make.

???
If you can't show some respect and intelligence, get off the internet!

Please don't act like you know what you're talking about when you weren't even there. This woman is a hero and saved many lives.
To Robert: Oh, I take it you're one of those who sits by and watches others trying to help.
