These are courageous people given that they will probably be in an FBI file someplace. Protesters today are called "right wing extremists." I thought all of us had the right under the Constitution to peaceful petition of the government.

I wonder how many of these people know that Obama has decreased taxes for over 90% of Americans, has not raised taxes on anyone, and only proposes to restore the tax rate on wealthy Americans to the same rate it was under the Clinton administration, when our economy was booming?

I applaud everyone's right to demonstrate. As a liberal, I know that I am in an "FBI file someplace" for protesting the Iraq war and Bush policies and lies. It is funny how people in those protests were called "traitors" by conservatives.

You didn't see these right wing nuts, when Bush gave 800 billion dollars to fix the 50 trillion dollar world mess he made!!!!!!!!!!

These people have the right to protest but if it were about something constructive and less destructive then I wouldn't look down on them with distaste. They rally to call Obama a socialist or a fascist and can't provide any proof of WHY? I think it's evil of Newt Gingrich and Dick Armey to use these ordinary citizen's ignorance and hate for their benefit. These people who are actually going to benefit from Obama's budget and changes in the tax code. These teabaggers need to wake up and realize that they are being 'pimped' by the likes of Armey and Gingrich. They're just blind to the facts!

I think we need to re think . We do what is right with protest and we are a failure. Who really runs this country You and me or them. All of us have a upper hand we pay the bills,but who will take the bullet for all of us and stand up for whats right. America is broke and Im broke but we are rebuilding other countries with money we have paid in. Today is the start of a new America but it will take 65% of us to make it happen. I will be the leader and I know whats going on and I can Talk. I do not want my children to suffer who are very young in life. I have a little boy on the way also. I will take a bullet for what is right . I owned my own business and lost everything to the Goverment for wrong judgement calls. I have to pay for there mistakes twice. I am not just talking I am serious. I lost my job 4 months ago and still looking and it is only getting tougher. I went to investors and I am rebuilding with a new statrt in a month. I will not loose again. need to quit paying for other countries to start and pay for our own. 83 billion to rebuild the country we destroyed. 83 billion and give each one of us a million we could rebuild this country over night. Buy cars, houses, education for our children the revenue would crerate jobs from over flow and GM and Ford would grow business. There would be standing lines every where. People who are broke would not be and business would boom and the banks would still make money from our money. Need to quit giving to others and HELP US United States Of America. Pretty simple

These fox fools and limbaugh boobs helped Bush send young people to their death and spend millions and millions of tax dollars down the oil drain and into pockets of corrupt people in the middle east and sent onto switerzland into private accounts for their own personal use. We aren't the ugly americans( vietnam) we are the stupid americans and now those on the streets with tea bags are Bush/Cheney/Rummy cup of tea folks. America drinks coffee folks we quit tea along time ago.

If these people were actually for "liberty" and a "republic", they would have been there to protest when Bush raised taxes when starting TWO false wars against scapegoats to support their international agenda.

Yes, these people are protesting high taxes, but only because a Democrat is in office. That's not right. I am a constitutional Conservative and protested Bush. I plan on protesting Obama, but with the right people, not with these nuts.

Let's be real today, o.k.? Let's be honest and call a spade a spade! This "tea" party protest would have been fine if what was being protested was taxes, or spending, or something that was real. But a lot of it was just another "let's show this negro how much we're not going to support whatever he's a part of because most of us have racial issues just because" gathering.

America, if we don't get it together and stop listening and following people that we know are all about inciting hate, a lot of people are going to end up hurt or worst.

I would not be surprised if some group were planning a "coffee" party in opposition to this type of "tea" party right now. Please stop the hate part, it's 2009! Besides, Obama will be in office for at least 4 years (I'd quit if I were him), can we give his plan, oh maybe, at least 6 months to see if it will begin to work? We gave Bush 8 years. And the difference in the spending is that Bush squandered our money on Lord knows what, but Obama is actually trying to accomplish something with it.

So please stop listening to and falling for the fake stories of those who wake up every morning to see how they can make Obama fail as quickly as possible. We all know who they are and we all know what spin is and we can all recognize hate when we see it. So let's do our own research if we're not sure about something. Don't just be mad to be mad. It's too much information out here, and "mad to be mad" takes up too much unnecessary energy!

Besides, I have a brand new Obama T-shirt that I would like to wear one day soon without having to look over my shoulder and, I had cut down on my swearing dramatically and it's creeping back up there.
