What a disgusting comparison. While Nadya Sulleman continues to depend on Taxpayers to foot the bill for her irresponsible behavior (and that of her Fertility Doctor), Angelina Jolie continues as she has for years, contributing millions of dollars to developing nations on behalf of children all over this world. She pays taxes, raises adopted children that otherwise would live their entire lives in poverty. She contributes to this world in ways most of us do not.

Just because a woman has long dark hair and is capable of delivering 14 kids, without any consideration for how they will be raised, or who will pay for it, does not put her in league with Angelina Jolie Pitt.

She looks nothing like Angelina Jolie. She is not sexy. And while "baby tree" may be a good description, she differs in the most important ways: Jolie adopted needy children, has only three of her own, has a steady partner who helps parent the children, and provides for all of them both emotionally and financially. Octo-Mom went to great trouble and expense as a single mom to create 14 children whom she is incapable of supporting financially, and probably emotionally as well; her parents are saddled with her hoard of children.

If she had brought home 14 puppies in 7 years, the SPCA and county Animal Control would be all over her. It is not OK to crowd 14 children into a 1500 square foot house. That is not planning or providing for your family.

It is significant that people in poor countries who are educated and able to practice contraception plan their familes for just two or three kids. Ask them and they will tell you it is so they can provide adequately for the children they have.

I noticed that immediately too. That she had groomed herself into somewhat the same brand.

Worse, if you've ever watched interviews with Jolie -- check out Charlie Rose or Today - it has to be way more than coincidental that they share the same mannerisms.

What do you want to bet that the next bunch of revelations is how obsessed she is with Jolie and this is an acting out thing?

Dumb Premise! "Looking like" or artificially trying to look like someone is not even close to being "similar" to someone. Jolie is an original, and by the way, a responsible even altruistic mother. The other is an idiot, plan and simple, and apparently in every way.

The author really sounds like s/he believes Nadya Suleman has something in common with or shares some similarities with Angelina Jolie...if the author was going for sarcasm, the tone certainly wasn't coming through.  I posted on the "similarity" on my blog (bitching beauty) just yesterday--and took the opposite approach as the MSNBC author.  I think Suleman's attempt to be Angelina Jolie is not only humorous, but also pathetic.

omg...When I saw the video clip of this lady of MSNBC.com, my first thought was, "Wow, she looks like Angelina..... If Angelina was 30 or 40 lbs. heavier, these two could pass as sisters." I have to say this woman looks remarkely well for just delivering 8 babies not even two weeks ago.

I hope everyone isn't too hard on this lady. I mean, enough is enough right? okay, if she gets a TV show from this, then so what. It's not like anybody's going to watch. And if someone does watch, then she does deserve the money she gets from sponsors. Stop giving her so much attention like some people say and maybe she will realize that this isn't going to work.

She doesn't look like Angelina Jolie. She has attempted to look like her, but ended up not looking like a human being at all. Perhaps she does want to emulate Angelina Jolie's lifestyle. There are some weird people who are obsessed with celebrities and want to act exactly like them. If that's the case, she isn't any better than all the dumb blonde Paris Hilton wannabees everywhere else. I just hope those kids are ok, and it does seem as if she has a support system at home.

This has to be the DUMBEST article I've ever read...the person who wrote this or came up with this idea should be FIRED! This woman seriously has some psychological issues...Angelina Jolie isn't a single mom and even when she was she only adopted one child and didn't ever say she was planning on adopting again until she fell in love with Brad Pitt. Angelina is a millionaire and can AFFORD to take care of her six children...not to mention her husband is also a MILLIONAIRE. This woman doesn't even have a job or her own house or a spouse to help her out! Something is seriously wrong with her. It costs 11,000 dollars to take of of ONE child in the FIRST year alone and she just had 8!!!

Honestly, this is probably the most selfish act in my personal opinion. I want to know how an unemployed woman pays for several rounds of invitro, affords acrylic nails, collagen lip injections and is it not my understanding that she had to pay a monthly fee to keep the embryo's that she had stored???? I don't understand. I was a single mom with three children, worked two to three jobs, had an exhusband who paid child support and still struggled financially to provide for them?!?!! How selfish of her to rely on her parents, at thirty-three she should not burden her parents nor tax payers which we all know at some point she will definitely rely on!! There are more regulations about breeding and the welfare of puppies than there are in this instance. This is unreal!

In no way what so ever is this woman like Angelina Jolie! Angelina takes care of her kids herself along with their father! She may have help while she is working but she sure doesn't dump them off on her mother! And she would never have more kids then she could finacially take care of on her own without public assistance. I think this woman is selfish! And to say she is not responsible for the condition of the home where her children have been staying with their grandma is absurd. It is her fault since she dumped all six kids on her poor mother. Where was she for the last 2 months? Being selfish!!!

It's very obvious that this woman is after fame and fortune. Shes all ready receiving a couple of thousand dollars a month for the 2 boys that have health issues from SSI and getting food stamps. She said she calls her mother every day but her mother said she and the children live with her and it's the Mother who cares for the children..( Nadya's Mother).

I think she had the surgery and very much appears to be trying to look like Angelina. For someone who doesn't work ...living on her 2 son's SSI checks. How is she paying for the lip & possible nose job ? who's paying for to have her nails done ?

I wish I had a say in were my tax dollars go, I would NOT let it go to her. She should have these children taken from her .This woman has a real problem.

First of all, you idiots are so quick to pass judgment on someone, like you're so perfect. Whatever issues this woman may or may not have, she is still a human being and deserves respect. What, are you all in her head? Were you there when all this took place? How would you like someone to profess to be an expert on you and know exactly what you are thinking. Who hasn't ever thought to themselves - "boy, they really don't understand what I meant by that" or, who hasn't been the victim of some type of stereotyping or discrimination? This article is useless sensationalism and is not based on fact. How can you prove someone is trying to look like someone else? Did they fill out an application for plastic surgery stating that "I would like to look like _____". Give me a break, like all of you haven't ever had an idol or someone you wish you could look like. Angelina is beautiful, that's why she is a movie star, duh. Besides, don't we all create this thing called "celebrity" by idolizing someone? Who do you think made her a celebrity in the first place? Yes, that's right folks - all of you. So what if she wants to be a celebrity, how many people out there would be honest and admit it?

Secondly, all you people are just making her your scapegoat for this recession. Something similar happened in Germany decades ago - sound familiar? You hate to see someone get something or do well while you are struggling. And don't give me that BS about you the taxpayer having to support her and her kids. If anyone can trace exactly where their money went once it left their pocket or their payroll, I'd like to see it. You have to pay those taxes regardless. Don't we all wish we could use that argument - "I don't want my money going to so and so, therefore I won't pay". If you choose not to directly contribute to her website, that's your choice. How many other people or entities are asking for a handout? What about the all the banks and other failed institutions asking for YOUR MONEY? Why not make them the scapegoat, that's who you should be mad at. What about all the greedy CEOs, who only care about their million plus dollar incomes, when you are struggling to pay your mortgage? I could go on and on.

Lastly, where are all you vigilant right to lifers? What if she chose to abort some of the fetuses? Or, what if she got pregnant 14 times and aborted every single one of them? Then you would be screaming bloody murder. She chose to bring life, however unorthodox it was. Maybe you are the ones who should help support her. If you don't want (or can't) help her, then you should have kept your hypocritical outrage to yourself and then some big media and/or consumer goods companies would have helped her, like they normally do with multiple births. Then you really wouldn't have to worry about your tax dollars supporting her, would you?
